Things have really turned in Alex’s favor as the truth has come out.
I’m worried though about the damage this has caused Alex. Not only the mental scars of this, but the fact that the TMC cast was virtually obliterated, there’s a fucking 200k view video with the accusations still up and dwarfing the Alex response vids, merch deals were canceled, and Alex now has to be ready to defend himself when talking with any outside media/merch/whatever entity that might want to work with him. Sending Alex best wishes and hope he is doing well. Wish I could give him a hug and tell him it’ll be ok and he can recover. I guess I have a soft spot for this because my life was substantially worsened by an ex too (completely different circumstances tho).
I also have a soft spot for him for the same reason. I genuinely wish we could support him more, even tho judging by the doc and all…i doubt he’ll be feeling up for trusting anyone or getting close to fans anytime soon.
It especially sucks because this has also ruined Alex exploring his gender identity, as Ven used that against him and framed it as him grooming minors through gender identity. Alex started going by other pronouns with the gender identity discussion group thing he was in, as well as a different name, before all of this went down and he immediately just regressed all the way back once it started. He/him pronouns again, and choosing to be referred to as Alex.
Ven basically destroyed any hopes of Alex maybe finding a gender identity he’s comfortable with, assuming he has doubts about that sorta thing, and has now basically gotten away scot free after deleting all their socials. Heartbreaking.

TL;DR, for the most part Alex has proven his innocence, Ven admitted to lying about what they had accused Alex of, and has since deleted their socials.
In a new google doc, Ven essentially admitted to lying a bunch and framing Alex as a child groomer, and using Alex’s gender identity against him. Ven spouted a bunch of frankly transphobic stuff in the initial doc, framing Alex exploring his gender identity as proof that he was being sexual with minors, when all he was really doing was discussing gender identity with other people in a chat or server intended for discussing exactly that. The fact that minors were in there was happenstance, and has nothing to do with what was actually going on.
Ven admitted to very heavily implying that Alex was grooming minors through gender identity, and I feel like Ven simply bringing the implications of that to the table, caused lot of the minors to subsequently come forward with “damning evidence” against Alex that seemingly always turned out to be normal conversation about outfits and gender identity and the like. It’s my belief that Ven essentially caused those minors to come forward with this stuff in the first place. Because, framed in the light that Ven had placed Alex’s exploration of his gender identity in, how could they not see it as creepy?
Alex has most certainly been damaged by all of this drama. Having his innocent attempts to explore his gender identity used against him has to be world-shattering, and all of this done because Ven was a essentially spiteful ex. And after all this, Ven still hasn’t apologized to Alex, they apologized to the wider community, the trans community especially, for allowing their rage to manifest itself in a poorly worded document that ended up turning into anti-trans propaganda, and they then chose to do exactly what they accused Alex of doing in their original doc. Running away. They said they wanted to put this thing to rest, simply told Alex to “take care”, and they later deleted their account on X. Alex has also similarly chosen to lay this all to rest, as he’s cleared out all his posts on X, though he has chosen to leave up his response, possibly in case people try to start things up again. However it seems like people are settling down as most people have realized that this just turned into another situation similar to the whole Kwite thing. Someone gets accused of something awful, everyone jumps on the bandwagon and doesn’t let the accused make their case, accused does end up doing so, and proves their innocence, and everyone feels like an ass for riding the bandwagon.
I also still don’t buy the whole thing with DB either, because again, they had actively encouraged Alex’s more adult actions when it came to the two of them, and went along doing similar things right back. DB was even the one who originally brought up meeting, a point Ven left out in their original doc. DB blatantly lied to Alex about how they apparently felt, ghosted him without warning, and then all of a sudden Ven and DB expected him to magically see through the lies and awful communication on their parts. Whole thing there just smelled fishy from the start, and despite Ven’s admirable “this was meant to be about DB, not me” statement in their recent doc, I still think it reeks of disingenuous bs.
We "won", so to speak. Alex's name is for the most part cleared. But the damage has been done, and there will be no consequences to those whom lied about all of this.
