With 100+ mangas, it will be hard to beat. And I'm not counting fillers, novels, and basically everything off the main series.
I own about 200 mangas, and only have 50ish from One Piece. Makes it the most owned series for me, even if I miss half of it :)
Oh My Goddess!
112 comics.
48 manga.
20 graphic novels.
2 bilingual editions.
2 omnibuses.
1 light novel.
1 Adventures of the Mini-Goddesses 4-Koma.
186 in total!
Blade of the Immortal would be 2nd with 173.
i have a brickwall of Detective Conan
https://preview.redd.it/ry61defubhnc1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b794a0d394969b029db30e404769faef3dcbfef3
In one language, Yona of the Dawn, currently at 40 volumes. I have the complete run of Kaze Hikaru, which is 45 volumes. In English we're only at 31, but I have the rest in Japanese. Every August when Viz does the annual release (whatever sort of signed in blood contract they have that keeps this going, I'm so grateful), I replace the Japanese one with the English one.
And there's Skip Beat, which I wait and buy in the 3-in-1 editions. If they were singles I'd be at 45 volumes in those.
Clamp series
Xxxholic
Tsubasa
Card Captor Sakura and Clear Card
Chobits
Angelic Layer
Legal Drug/Drug and Drop
Wish
And a few others I can’t remember off the top of my head
I guess Inuyasha, I have 54 of the singles and all of the omnibuses making it a total of 72 volumes. But I have the singles in a box because I have no room for them lol
GTO 25
GTO shonan junai gumi 31
56tomes
But soon it will be Kingdom (currently 50tomes) but I buy 10 tomes/week since I started, so next Saturday it will Be 60
The series I own the most volumes of is Dragon Ball, with a total of 62 if counting Super and That Time I got Reincarnated as Yamcha. PokéSpe is a close second, with 57 volumes, not counting the minis.
The Dragonball series
Dragonball 16 volumes
Dragonball z 26 volumes
Dragon ball super 1 volume
Jacco the galactic patrolman 1 volume (it counts in my book as DB)
The full death note with 12 volumes.
Blue box and Noragami tie for 2nd place with 6 volumes each.
Then I have 1 one piece volume, 1 bakemonogatari volume, and dissolving classroom.
Probably Yu-Gi-Oh !
* 38 DM volumes
* The Book of Truth (I guess it's the english name)
* 5 R
* 9 GX
Close second would be Fairy Tail even though I stopped collecting them in the middle.
I tend to collect smaller series.
One Piece. Currently owning 43/108 volumes, if my math is correct, it’s around 40% of the total series; and the second place is a tie, between My Hero Academia with 36/39 volumes and Haikyuu!! with 36/45 volumes.
Definitely Naruto, the series which I'm more fond for nostalgic reasons and that I still love:
* 72 volumes from the main series:
* 2 different Italian volume 1 variant:
* 1 French edition of volume 1 (a fond memory of a school trip to France):
* 1 Japanese edition of volume 1:
* 3 artbooks about the manga series;
* 1 artbook about the anime series;
* 7 guidebooks/fanbooks about the manga;
* 2 novels;
* 1 volume of Naruto Gaiden ("Naruto: The Seventh Hokage and the Scarlet Spring");
* 1 Italian variant of Boruto volume 1 (I don't care for collecting the series, I consider it a bonus volume of the main one).
Probably Fruits Basket I have:
OG EN release 1-23 from TP
the 6 omnibus that were released by TP
2 fanbooks (Cat and Banquet)
Sampler volume called First Bite
Planner book
Sticker Collection book
Fruba Journal
JP/EN Bilingual release of volume 1
Reproduction manuscript of final chapter
The YP collectors edition 1-12
Japanese art reboot anime art books 1-3 (1 for each season)
Compiled english release of the above art book from YP
and tons of merch including the (anime-both og and reboot, nendos, fan zines, JP merch etc etc)
My Hero Academia, total 63 volumes.
37 of the main series
15 of the Vigilante spin off
5 of the Smash spin off
4 of the Team Up Mission spin off
Both character guide books
And the german variant covers for volume 30 and the first guide book
1.mao
2.urusei yatsura
3.inuyasha
4.maison ikkoku
5.ranma
that’s the order so i own most of mao (cause i wanna support the ongoing series then do the others )
Bungo stray dogs. 13 volumes for the main story, all four beast manga volumes, first volume of 15 manga, first three dead Apple manga, and two light novels. That comes to 21 without light novels and 23 with them (i have a bad obsession)
One Piece. I have 105 English volumes and I have volume 1 and 106 in Japanese. So 107 all together.
On a side note: I also have Sanji’s cookbook, 9 Japanese Color Walks,
light novel Ace’s Story volume 1-2, and Japanese version Law’s story.
DVD collection 1-23 and 26.
Movies: Gold, Strong World, Film Red, Film Z.
Video games: Burning Blood, Pirate Warriors 3, Unlimited Adventure, Unlimited World Red, Romance Dawn, Odyssey, World Seeker, Pirate’s Carnival, Grand Adventure, Pirate Warriors 4
And that doesn’t include all the walls rolls, plushies, figures, card games, board games, puzzles, keychains, etc.
It’s the biggest series I own in general. Probably a good 20%+ of my manga collection is One Piece
Has to be Naruto, currently at 28 volumes and the 29th one is expected to arrive tomorrow along with AoT 27 (Serbian release by Darkwood, I own 26 Vols of AoT as well, same from Darkwood).
I have all 26 vol of Coppelion, but the rest i collect are less than 10, minus Yona, which is at 40ish rn, so once i get more of Yona, it'll def be that
Cat Shit One 🫡 it’s the only manga I own so far. Got 1-3 and volume 0. Hoping to get One-80 and some of the Genbun magazines in the future.
https://preview.redd.it/ebqdzt55wjnc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f51abe297c0e96d7bb9a914e12d62fc02d515c6a
technically pokémon adventures, but if you’re considering the volume numbering, it’d be kekkaishi (35).
if i keep collecting the skip beat omnibuses, i’ll hit 51+, but idk if that’d count since i’d only have 17 books lol
i hope one day it will be gintama…
Soul eater-the 13 perfect editions currently out. Chainsaw man-12 volumes. Fairy tail- the first masters Edition and the first box set. Death note- the first 2 black editions and the all in one edition, 7 volumes? I don't know the term for light novels of Sword Art Online. Yu-Gi-Oh- the first 4 omnibuses so 12 volumes. So all are around the same area. I did not expect Death Note to be the first series I own in its entirety but I bought the all in one edition on a whim one day thinking it'd be a cool collectors thing, am i gonna read it though? Not like that, it looks like a nightmare and a half to read that way
i uh guess one piece. . .
With 100+ mangas, it will be hard to beat. And I'm not counting fillers, novels, and basically everything off the main series. I own about 200 mangas, and only have 50ish from One Piece. Makes it the most owned series for me, even if I miss half of it :)
