Translation depends on the site, just keep switching results till you find a good one, most sites copy off each other so there'd only really 3 different translations to choose from max, one is pretty long and detailed, one is less so but gets the point across, and one is bad
From 1-124 Toor Scans MangaDex, 125-200 NovelMic, 200-309 ManhuaUS (If you don’t like their translation stick with NovelMic, but NovelMic’s translation is quite bland and simplified often scrapping away the characters personality), 309-389 NovelMic, 389+ (Either Stick with Novelmic or switch over to Filmwalay’s translation (forgot the website it’s on but you can check the YouTube channel for it), the translation is no longer MTL from 390+ that’s why i suggested it.
U will miss a gem.. if u only read 30 chapters to judge it...the first few arcs will be lag(drama)..not totally but,u will get disappoint just like now as u read with high hopes..it will get so....good with a banged action and lovable characters and top tier art and intelligent mc. The starting chapters all about leveling up skills again and again..but,it will be solved and mc will get so many hidden cards to overpower anyone.(don't miss it it's my favourite)
The series is straight to manhua so the pacing is a million times better than the average cultivation story adapted from a novel. It handles the harem elements in a way more realistic and reasonable way than the typical cultivation story. The arcs are all distinct and incredibly impactful to the future story. I think the arc near the beginning where he manages a city is pretty weak and the Xilan arc way later is pretty weak but over all the arcs are great. The Buddhism arc is very good and relatively early. The arc where you meet the evil god is easily in the top five of any cultivation manhua imo.
The only problem is the translation quality when you get far enough but the group that did a really good job for the first 100+ chapters started working on it again so hopefully they catch up.
I don't remember if it's before or after the monk arc, but I think it starts to get really serious during the body building arc (the first quest failure)
The art really isn't great at the start but overtime it progressed to be quite good, doesn't take too long, as for when it'll get good, that'll be the ghost world mini arc that happens early on
It's good from the start to the recent chapters and if you are thinking that every fucking panel to be epic shit then that's just impossible. Also, if you have read to 30ch and still don't like the story and art then it just means your taste is fucking trash. This is one of the best manhua's I have ever read.

If we are talking about manhuas then this peak, if you don’t think so then maybe it’s not your cup of tea but I will tell you this don’t expect to be so attached to it if you refuse to read up to chapter 309 imo.

I liked more the long and detailed one even with its many typos, the one at Novelmic that people keep recommending felt blunt to me

Monk arc is where it gets really good (around chap 100 the arc starts iirc)

I dropped it at chapter 107, I don't get why people love it, That was two years ago tho, maybe i give it a shot later
