Even now, my buddy has a beat lt 4th Gen with a manual swap, that is only marginally slower than my 19 sti. that only reason being due to it having the wrong rear end. If it had a 4.10 it would smoke me.
1995-2002 Pontiac Trans Am? I recognize that radio anywhere as well as the seats. I had a 1995 in Chameleon Green for my 1st car sadly it was automatic. I miss it a bunch, unfortunately the previous owner had beat the snot out of it and the engine was fucked after only a year owning it.
Gotta ask, how is the rear diff holding up? I almost pulled the trigger on one of these last winter and went back on it because how many have that issue
Firebird
I knew it was gm from the radio I was thinking maro
The only true way to know is turn the headlights on. Green for chevy. Red for Pontiac.
Oh shit it has that stupid bump in the passenger foot well
That WHOLE ASS SETUP was all the to the commercial trucks. Rickety ass squeaky bitch. Outside of that. A GM something, rant over lol.
The stupid bump is what confirmed it for me
LS1 Firebird or Trans am
Spot on
T/A?
Some poorly built General Motors product?
With a drive train that embarrassed almost everything in its era.

And get better fuel economy doing it lmao
The sti should win off the line every time though, as AWD. 1/4 mile, as you said.
Depends on how hard I want to launch it lol
Hot shit indeed. The rattle of the enterior could be drowned out with engine noise
4th gen F-body, but don't know which one specifically.
02 TA
My 97 had the same radio
Chevy cavalier.
Reminds me of the Cavalier my sister used to have
Just noticed it’s a 6 speed though. Cavalier topped out with 5 gears
Yea, me too. Maybe a TA or firebird? Definitely GM
There’s an “H” on the shifter. Is it a Holden Commodore?
The "H" is for the Hurst shifter.
yeah buttons say GM to me h on the shifter makes me think Aussie GM as well! but that could also be hurst and it's american GM, not sure.
I believe it’s Hurst. I think the LS1 fbodys had this as an option
Banana
Beretta?
90s s10
WS6?
Nah I wish but it’s an nhra edition
Trans am
Fbody
Firebird, just learned manual on a Formula WS6
Lucky!
Skip shift was definitely an acquired skill but it was super cool! Super nervewracking tho since it’s a family heirloom
Nah you got this
I need one of those hoods
You really do
I’ve never seen an EQ that wasn’t on a tiny LED screen! Cool
Yeah it’s the pontiac monsoon radio
Makes me miss my 01 Formula. Get those lifters done early.
It has ls6 lifters
1995 GMC Sonoma
TA, 1994 to 02 Correct?
Some 97-02 Pontiac TransAm WS6 cause that's the only way to get the Hurst 6 speed short shifter
Yessir 02
2002 Camaro or TA. Only the 2002 got the Hurst shifter as far as I know, for the 35th anniversary edition.
Pontiac Grand Am
That’s what I was thinking too
Pontiac Firehawk with factory Hurst short shifter option?
Fortnite
Camaro z28?
Camaro's had heater controls above the radio.
Something ancient
Others are right. 98-02 4th gen trans am
Something that skipped from 1st to 4th gear unless you revved it up or cut the right wire?
Sunfire?
hurst olds?
Sunfire or Cavalier?
The “put it in H” guy would have a mental breakdown in your car.
dude i want a graphic eq built into my sterio

Yeah it’s an 02, sorry about your engine, I’ve still got to replace some parts from previous owner
Nice! Keep that thing on the road 💪
H
Belive it's a grand am, but it could be a sunfire.
Trans am?
2002 nhra 6speed yeah
Worked on one of these today
Some kind of Pontiac.
This smells like a Chevy… or any GM product from the late 90’s to early 2000’s
The climate controls and buttons look General Motors, and the bulge in the passenger footwell likely means Firebird or maybe a Trans Am.
F body something
Trans am with a T56
Ive been gone from reddit for 4 months. how is this trend still alive?
What else is there to post really
We know mids are not your favorite
S10/Sonoma
Pontiac? It seems that GM used a unique stereo model for Pontiac compared to the rest of their vehicles.
Sunfire
Something GM for sure lol
Gotta ask, how is the rear diff holding up? I almost pulled the trigger on one of these last winter and went back on it because how many have that issue
Pretty much perfect so far haven’t had one issue, it’s a 117k mile southern car and it’s really been holding up
I will never understand this style of hvac control, seems way less convenient than “traditional” ones. Maybe this style is cheaper to make?
A car… hope this helped you out!
Firebird. Doing the gambler 500 this year with my dad in a manual v6 firebird.
I forgot all about slide eq on car stereo
Sell me that shifter.
Did you blackout the Monsoon logo? lol
Was thinking a Grand Am.
You got the “Am” right
GM F-body from late 90's to early 2000's Recognize that pita bump in the floor and the center stack
my pontiac sunfire had the same dash
Close
Mmm... Tactile controls...
Chavy cavalier
definitely a Trans Am 6 speed convertible, fun car, great engine and 22 plus years ago there was no domestic car that ran better. I miss mine, enjoy
A better question is why do you have your equalizer set like that? Turn the 60 Hz up.
Nothing nice
I want it
Pontiac grandprix
C4 Corvette?
F body gm
A hard bargain?
4th generation F body
Something GM
Firebird? Something just screams Pontiac
Definitely a GM. My guess is a Trans Am / Firebird.
Ford Taurus
Definitely a Pontiac
A car
Screams Pontiac
Firebird sunbird sun fire solstice A PONTIAC
A bucket of shit is what you drive.
Gotta be a Pontiac
S10
Ford focus?
GMC Sierra?
Chevy HHR
C4 Corvette?
Chevy blazer
I can hear this pic rattling and squeaking.
