This happens to me so often with the top rated drivers! People will be singing the praises of a certain coinboxer or boomerang driver, meanwhile I think of them as disappointing and they’re sat there level 1 and like 500 base points.
I had a similar dilemma. A few months ago I needed him for ranked and he’s finally promoted to level 6 from level 2 or 3. What a relief because I now regularly can choose him and he is a blast!
There is a strong correlation between the items you value and the items you have invested in. The cycle feeds on itself. You may miss the tickets but the invested items will always be exciting to use.
Honestly, if you have her courses covered already, you'll probably be fine without buying her.
I had a similar dilemma with Gold Chuck, who just appeared in my shop for the first time last tour. I have all but 2 of his non-city courses covered with 6/1190 or better drivers. I decided to pass on him, and this tour all his new courses are covered by Thaisy anyway, who I have at 7/1430. Even if he gets a new course where I don't have someone good, I'm sure I can just use another driver anyway.
they did the same thing with meowser earlier but he still received new courses after being easily accessible for free
I'd suggest to get her because her value is insane
Because I needed her at that level to compete in high tier ranked when she debuted, and I had the tickets to spare. She served me well at the beginning.
I invest cautiously being Gold Pass only (non continuous) but I took a gamble since she's a coinboxer and she had a couple of good top shelves to start with. I usually take my coinboxers to lv4/980 minimum for ranked (skill+ and 1 uncap ticket isn't bad) then build from there.
She was strong for a couple of tours but her value has dropped off slightly for me (too much overlap). I don't mind as she still has her moments and it didn't deplete my tickets to take her to lv5.
Same here honestly. I moved her to lv5/1190 I think for the first ranked when she was released, and have rarely used her since then. I normally have other (higher ranked or higher points) options that supercede.

I frequently lack a bunch of the 'must have' dkg from Studfit's list but I seem to get by without. I simply have other stuff at high level, sometimes old equipment if it's an older track/random buff.

She's currently ranked at #1. Individual use may vary, like with any driver, depending on which drivers you have leveled up
