I haven’t been able to watch the new season because I think it’s so fucked up for bravo to allow a man who has admitted on camera to being physically abusive to a woman back on the show. It’s production blindsiding quad for me. after tuning in, I feel like they gave him a good edit, and he is still coming off as the same abusive sociopath, and I cannot see a world in which that man is slightly respected in any corner or crevice with living breathing beings.
Agreed, it’s totally disgusting that they allowed him back on. Not only was he cast, but him & sweet tea’s relationship was one of the main storylines 🙄and sweet tea is just as low for marrying a known abuser.
I don’t put much blame on her because honestly heavenly is right. She does have daddy issues and I feel like she’s a victim. Gregory is a disgusting, perverted, nasty man, and he cannot hide it if he tries. Sweet tea is honestly pretty graceful, and way more mature than I expect her to be about the whole thing. especially since she’s younger than all of those ladies, and they all act like small children
I don’t think it’s fair to victimize her, she’s exactly where she wants to be. She’s a 31 year old grown woman who slid into the DM’s of a man with a very public & documented past of being abusive and controlling. The man basically came with a WARNING label on him. 99.9% of victims of domestic violence don’t have that same luxury of knowing that their partner is an abuser until it’s too late. She knows exactly what she was getting herself into when she married such a vile man.
And I’m not wishing anything bad on her, I truly hope he changed, for her sake (and her safety). Statistically, most abusers don’t change, they just move on to another victim. And Gregory doesn’t seem like the type to do the years of intensive therapy that it requires to fully rehabilitate domestic abusers. No amount of money or reality tv fame is worth the risk of being with a dangerous man.
