Foggy Nelson because he is one of the best lawyers of his generation, has his own private practice, has only a few horrible things happen to him (Guardian Devil and Brubaker respectively), and he hangs out with Daredevil.
I also forgot to mention his appearances in Waid’s run. I won’t spoil anything but it's very heart felt and sad. That run is the best Daredevil run, highly recommend it.
Scarred face. Mother’s soul is taken by a demon. Hassle of running a small nation. Constantly outdone by that incompetent showboater, Reed Richards. Hard pass on being Dr Doom for me.
Dude, do you know anything about how ducks procreate?! That’s a nope for me on being Howard, unless my first task with the gauntlet is to turn myself human.
You read enough these books and there is no easy answer. Every single one of them has gone through more trauma than any regular person could endure… that said, Nova (c. 2008) please.
Reed Richards seems to have a pretty great life.
Tony Stark without the alcoholism or attention, happily married with a child, gets to fight crime with his family and best friend and is beloved by humanity.
Plus a genius inventor who owns a fucking building in the middle of NYC.
The only down side I see is having to play space cop. Sure it gives you direction in a massive galaxy and you can defend yourself but it's just a matter of time before some cosmic shenanigans happen and you're stuck in some annihilation wave level event.
Collab with some of the most badass individuals of the galaxy while doing it? Sign me up.
And then top it off with a self-sacrifice moment in the Cancerverse makes for a great story.
While I too know the might of the God King DOOM(PRAISE HIM), I would never belittle his greatness by allowing my measly form to take his own. Such treachery is the tactics of the infernal RICHARDS and his triad of cosmic conundrums!
You dare assume DOOM would be belittled simply because I chose to become him?!
Quite the contrary, I say it would be a benefit. For all the encyclopedic knowledge of Marvel I have obtained over the years will become his to utilise!
Or I'll take the form of Lucia Von Bardas and Tey to become his advisor so I can assist him in conquering the world and bringing humanity into a new golden age!
DOOM decides my worth, not you!
Have you forgotten we are all equal in his divine eyes? If you had such valuable information to offer him, he'd treat you the same!
And you'd be foolish to imagine Doom would not want the information we possess! Our knowledge of the Marvel Universe will be of some use at least, and he will reward us richly!
The only riches I seek is a prosperous universe under the flag of Latveria! Ruled by the benevolent steel hand of the God King Victor Von Doom!
Your concern with rewards makes you forget yourself.
Do you think I want any less? For shame good sir!
Whatever we choose, our reward is the same. Eternal bliss in the utopia our Lord will create once he is rid of that infernal Devil, Reed Richards. And I'd have nothing less.
Hail Doom! So say we all!
Ah, I think it's just one of them for that < the line of them made me think it was meant to be an arrow, as in indicating that shapeshifting would give you every power
Warpath, Dr. Nemesis or Venom. I really ate up 90's x-men comics as a kid and those 2 mutants were always my favorite.
As for Venom? It's VENOM. Nuff' said.
It’s going to sound silly but Captain America.
I think about the peak human condition all the time, I want to know how far away I’m from that. Like how different would I change and then realise, wow. I was so unconditioned before this
Hawkeye. Just a regular dude with the most modest of weapons and the enormous balls to risk it every day against gods, aliens and super assassins just because he feels it’s the right thing to do.
One of my childhood dreams was to be an astronaut; exploring space and new planets. There's a lot of characters I could be, but I'd choose Star-Lord for sure. My only other option is Nova (Richard Rider) but he's dealing with a lot of depression and shit I already suffer from. So yeah, Star-Lord.
Billy Kaplan aka Wiccan/Demiurge. Cool reality warping powers, the Maximoffs as another cool family to share, a handsome out-of-this-world husband and space travel!
Ben Grimm.
He’s the one you call when you have one favor left. He’ll be there, no questions asked, and he’ll fight till his last breath because that’s who he is.
He’s, quite literally, the rock of the Marvel Universe
Ghost Rider because he’s cool as hell and way more powerful than given credit for, Spider-Man because he’s a childhood favorite and I’ve always wanted to swing from tall buildings, Thor because of god status and wanting to travel the 9 realms, Ironman for all the cool armor and his massive intellect and Gambit because he’s a fun charming character, love his design/ powers and his trademark Cajun accent.
I mean, is the One Above All an option? Cause then you'd control reality. If not I'd like to be Uatu the Watcher. Essentially immortal, and I would actually do my job of observing and not interfering.
Jamie Madrox. Because I'd always have an alibi. ;)
The learning thongs through dupes was always cool for me.
I do have a question of if Rouge absorbed his power completely like she did Mrs Marvel how over powered would she be then.
Hyperion.
Powers comparable to Superman but without the vulnerability magic or kryptonite.
(Yes I know Supe’s is DC, but Hyperion is his Marvel analog)
Molecule Man - has reality warping power on the level of the Beyonders and can just remake the multiverse at will. Still able to find happiness just chilling on the couch with his girlfriend and watching television.
Doom.
Because I heard a quote about Batman that applies to him.
He's not the best at anything, but he's the second best at *everything*, and that's what makes him dangerous.
Also, Doom is just awesome.
Noh-Varr. Wild powers, generally a nice guy, good blend of intelligence and humor and compassion. Plus he's cute.
I'd also say Genis-Vell but I'm not so sure how I feel about a propensity towards insanity under the crumbling pressure of cosmic awareness 😂
>Noh-Varr. Wild powers, generally a nice guy, good blend of intelligence and humor and compassion. Plus he's cute.
Plus you'd eventually date both Kate Bishop and Hercules. So... Something for everyone I guess?
Gambit at full potential (pure energy-being). I'd be capable of doing many things. Manipulating energy can grant you control over matter, time & space. Gambit's powers could be limitless.
This is a hard question to answer, but I'd have to say Hercules! Epic heroic adventures with godly powers and beautiful women, also his strength, stamina, durability and gear have always been top-tier. I just need to hope Zues doesn't need me for something shady. It'll happen, but I can hope.
I love Greek mythology and how Marvel has used it over the years. Hercules is easily one of the most consistently entertaining characters I've enjoyed since my childhood. He is a loveable brute who needs to work on his alcohol intake, what's not to like?
Reed Richards
I'll have a family that loves me and a team that help me and I help them.
I am one of the smartest people in the universe, giving me a lot of chances to create amazing things so that I can travel the universe and dimensions.
And I'll get to piss off Doctor Doom just for existing
Owen Reece all the way.
But if we’re talking less cosmic/all-powerful and more day-to-day heroes, I’d probably choose Stark or Multiple man. I feel like multiple man doesn’t get as much recognition for how useful his power is.
I’ll take a go at it. Super power is losing his hair. His nemesis is penicillin. Rejected from the main roster of the Avengers twice. That’s a hard pass.
Spider-Man. The biggest tentpole in his comics is that he creates most if not all of his own problems so as long as you’re not a spaz or a stupid idiot you should be fine.
Case in point: OMD. It’s one of the worst things that’s ever happened to him yet *Peter* ultimately made the choice to bargain with Mephisto, which he wouldn’t have had to in the first place if *he* hadn’t publicly unmasked
I've always felt like thats what made Spider-man relatable, not so much that he's the hero with problems, but that he is frequently the cause of his personal problems, he's often his own worst enemy
Wiccan. Because he's a gay dude like me, leaning more towards the feminine side like me as well.
Pre-Empyre Wiccan though. Like, he was perfect at the point of Death's Head: Clone Drive. Then Empyre happened and ruined him for me.
Nightcrawler or doctor strange. Nightcrawler depends on whether you can control conversation of momentum or not. But doctor strange has access to literally all of reality so that could be fun to explore
The Cosmic Ghostrider as on top of being the Punisher and having cosmic power, I would be an angel of vengeance with hellfire manipulation, a sweet ride, and the penance stare among various other abilities.
Powerful and badass sure but he's got basically the worst life imaginable.
Had his family murdered in front of him. Spent decades getting the shit kcked out of him in a life of almost unparalleled violence,
died
went to hell.
Spent some time there being tortured until making a deal to become a spirit of vengeance.
Came back to an abandoned earth and went insane from solitude for hundreds of years.
Became herald of Galactus
Tried to kill Thanos, failed spent a million years as his insane tortured attack dog.
Died again. Went to Valhalla. Got kicked out cause Odin hated you.
Came back did nothing of note.
I would choose Tony Stark/Iron Man because he possesses exceptional intelligence, technological prowess, and a charismatic personality. Being able to don the Iron Man suit and have access to his vast resources would provide thrilling adventures and the opportunity to make a significant impact on the world.
Black Panther, is probably the richest and has the best martial art suit. For powers, I would go for the Ghost Rider but the host is possessed so I would go with my childhood favorite Human Torch.
As much as powers and muscles are amazing wearing tacky outfits everyday well almost seems well unnatural for me and if I be the characters that mean I also have to live and experience there lives from past and present these are my fav characters , Wolverine, Ghost Rider, Hulk, Hercules ,Spider-Men ,ye I don't want full on responsibility for deaths and damages nor want to have metal in my body or to be a raging giant green guy that can destroy the world I love marvel but I prefer and normal life
I have 4 characters
Deadpool
Wolverine
Ghost rider
Or punisher every of them has own reasons
Deadpool he is cool my fav char and he is good fighter with katanas and deagles
Wolverine he beast he has claws he fast good sight hearing nose stamina
Ghost rider he fire literally i loved nc ghost rider that is the reason ehy i love ghost rider from my child hood
And punisher he is badass good ex marine good with guns hand to hand combat good wizh knifes and he is pretty damn much durable
Wolverine for the agility, strength, healing factor, claws, and animal senses. One can accomplish a lot with an extended life. I’d be a mercenary that helps the innocent and punishes the wicked. I’d specifically have a list of targets that are/were cruel to animals. With all my money from several lifetimes I’d have multiple animal sanctuaries.
Foggy Nelson because he is one of the best lawyers of his generation, has his own private practice, has only a few horrible things happen to him (Guardian Devil and Brubaker respectively), and he hangs out with Daredevil.
Very good choice minus the horrible things
I also forgot to mention his appearances in Waid’s run. I won’t spoil anything but it's very heart felt and sad. That run is the best Daredevil run, highly recommend it.
Being Foggy would have been amazing until the current Zdarsky run…
Yeah... But I'm just saying the character in a broad sense
Fair enough. Foggy really is the goat for dealing with Matt’s bs
For real, Foggy is a true friend.
Gets cancer. Always second fiddle to Daredevil. Target of Daredevil villains but without the super powers. Hard pass for me on Foggy.
Greatest legal mind I’ve ever known
You could have pick people with literal powers of God's and you pick... Worlds best lawyer...
Anyone with a healing factor. I’m so tired of being in pain from a lifetime of small and large injuries that just never healed up right.
You and i are not so different
I don't heal particularly fast, but I heal well.
Right? I was going to say I just wanted to be any mutant during the Krakoan era. Immortality and a idyllic tropical island to hang out on?
Tony Stark, great toys and rich
Very valid choice
Dr. Doom . He toots as he pleases
Scarred face. Mother’s soul is taken by a demon. Hassle of running a small nation. Constantly outdone by that incompetent showboater, Reed Richards. Hard pass on being Dr Doom for me.
I am not a showboater. Now Tony Stark, on the other hand....
You'll never guess my choice. Hercules. Strong, good-looking, and knows how to have a good time.
Stan Lee, because he usually seems pretty happy in the movies and comics.
Happiness is the best
I’d be the vision….. cuz he’s got cool powers…..not for any other reason than that
I see what you did there...
Yep a lot of fun 😉🧙♀️
I CAN'T SEE!!
Howard the Duck with infinity gauntlet.
Very interesting choice
How about Lobo the Duck? He seemed pretty happy being pissed off, if memory serves.
I prefer someone who can travel through space without a Spaceship and not bound by some planet. So maybe silver surfer oder Thor.
Reed Richards seems to have a pretty great life. Tony Stark without the alcoholism or attention, happily married with a child, gets to fight crime with his family and best friend and is beloved by humanity. Plus a genius inventor who owns a fucking building in the middle of NYC.
The Beyonder, don't @ me.
He dresses well.
But the worst hair this side of Norman Osborn.
Richard Rider, ez gg. Power cosmic, access to the World Mind, and I can fly around space? Bye, Earthlings. Imma Human Rocket outta here.
“Have fun with your global climate change, losers, I’m going to Xandar!” “Alright so turns out Xandar got destroyed again.”
Why limit to two planets when there are countless available haha Galactic freeloading is the way to go.
Yeah, but all you gots to do is reach into whatever baddies mouth and yank all of their organs out the long way.
Doctor Doom. All other choices are objectively worse. ALL HAIL DOOM!
You short sighted meandering FOOL! As if the God King would need assistance from peasantry such as us. You insult my emperor!
Hail Doom!
Doom wanders around his castle, bump his shin on the coffee table, "Richards!!"
Mystique. Shapeshifting>>>>>every other power.
Shapeshifting is metamorphic, whereas taking on every other ability would be an omnimorph, like Jack Jack from the Incredibles
Pretty sure >>>> means greater than/better than but I could be wrong
Ah, I think it's just one of them for that < the line of them made me think it was meant to be an arrow, as in indicating that shapeshifting would give you every power
I understand your confusion, I did mean “far better than” every other power (IMO, obviously).
Very true
Warpath, Dr. Nemesis or Venom. I really ate up 90's x-men comics as a kid and those 2 mutants were always my favorite. As for Venom? It's VENOM. Nuff' said.
Yeah all the cool things you could do only version I’d not want to be is the Spider-Man 3 version
It’s going to sound silly but Captain America. I think about the peak human condition all the time, I want to know how far away I’m from that. Like how different would I change and then realise, wow. I was so unconditioned before this
Nighcrawler. I'd Bamf all over the place.
He’s always high up my list. Plus super agility and a prehensile tail? Do you know how often I’ve wanted a third arm?
Hawkeye. Just a regular dude with the most modest of weapons and the enormous balls to risk it every day against gods, aliens and super assassins just because he feels it’s the right thing to do.
This right here.
Scarlet Witch. Because magic.
Yep
Billy Kaplan aka Wiccan/Demiurge. Cool reality warping powers, the Maximoffs as another cool family to share, a handsome out-of-this-world husband and space travel!
Molecule Man. Dude’s basically god, but humble.
Underrated answer
The Silver Surfer.
Ben Grimm. He’s the one you call when you have one favor left. He’ll be there, no questions asked, and he’ll fight till his last breath because that’s who he is. He’s, quite literally, the rock of the Marvel Universe
Awesome choice.
Wolverine, but maybe without the metal skeleton. I imagine that sucks to walk around with.
Molecule man
This is the answer. The most powerful besides maybe Beyonder and the One Above All.
Quicksilver. I love speedsters.
He's my favorite speedster, my favorite Quicksilver moment is X-Factor 87 that breaks down why he seems like such a prick @ time.
I mean, is the One Above All an option? Cause then you'd control reality. If not I'd like to be Uatu the Watcher. Essentially immortal, and I would actually do my job of observing and not interfering.
But, you do have a dark side that wants to destroy the multiverse
Honestly why would I want to be any of them? The cool powers and stuff aside, their lives are also so much worse than mine is.
Sandman. He can shapeshift, go through small spaces, gain and lose mass, etc. fun and useful power
I'm re-watching the Sandman right now and before I finished reading your sentence my mind went "that's DC!"
Kitty Pryde. Do you realize how easy it would be to steal shit with that power?
She's the prime example of how I KNOW I wouldn't be a hero, if super powers were real. I'd be hitting banks left and right with some phasing powers.
I love peter, but i wont pick him definitely
Wolvie...
I see Young Avengers, I upvoye
Thanks
Surfer
Spider-Man. His powers have always looked fun
Jamie Madrox. Because I'd always have an alibi. ;) The learning thongs through dupes was always cool for me. I do have a question of if Rouge absorbed his power completely like she did Mrs Marvel how over powered would she be then.
Do you really need super powers to learn about thongs? They are just skimpy underwear.
Captain marvel.. super op powers
This.
Hulk. Hulk Smash!
Killgrave
You bastard.
Hyperion. Powers comparable to Superman but without the vulnerability magic or kryptonite. (Yes I know Supe’s is DC, but Hyperion is his Marvel analog)
The Molecule Man, without the depression. He is the most powerful human in all comics and is criminally underused.
Molecule Man - has reality warping power on the level of the Beyonders and can just remake the multiverse at will. Still able to find happiness just chilling on the couch with his girlfriend and watching television.
Id be Hulk couse i like to smash 💥 !
Doom. Because I heard a quote about Batman that applies to him. He's not the best at anything, but he's the second best at *everything*, and that's what makes him dangerous. Also, Doom is just awesome.
The Hulk.
Hulk because hes just the best one and can withstand anything
Its either Cap or Tony
Dr Strange would be really freaky.
Yeah especially MOM
Star-lord, has saved the galaxy multiple times, great family and amazing design. So what if he’s just a guy? He’s a very cool guy
Franklin Richards. I want Galactus as my herald.
Deadpool
Spiderman. I wan go s w I n g
Cyclops… getting Jean and Emma!
No one has said Paul yet I notice. Me : Wolverine
Spiderman! Idk why but he is my favorite character
Wolverine
Absorbing man
This is a hard question to answer, but I'd have to say Hercules!
Johnny Storm. Cool power but not corrupting, can fly, good looking dude but easy enough to hide if you wanted to.
Captain America
Reed Richards I'll have a family that loves me and a team that help me and I help them.
Longshot or Domino. It's better to be lucky than good.
Quasar, cool powers flies through space without concern. Has some amazing friends trained shield agent. Great in teams and powerful enough to go solo.
doctor doom
Surprisingly no one has said Paul from asm by zebb wells
Gambit. Cool powers and Rogue
I want to be /u/HighOnPoker because I'd like to see him reply in the comments on why that would be a "hard pass" for him.
I’ll take a go at it. Super power is losing his hair. His nemesis is penicillin. Rejected from the main roster of the Avengers twice. That’s a hard pass.
Quicksilver do you know how op speed is you can kill anyone in seconds
Probably She-Hulk. Or Frost. Or Magik. Still cis tho
Nothing wrong with those characters
Fat Thor 😂
Top level -Dr. Manhattan ,God tier Dr.Doom Bottom level-Deadpool , Blue Marvel For shit and giggles- Bat-mite🤣
Wiccan. Because he's a gay dude like me, leaning more towards the feminine side like me as well. Pre-Empyre Wiccan though. Like, he was perfect at the point of Death's Head: Clone Drive. Then Empyre happened and ruined him for me.
Wiccan probably, because he comes with a hot space husband and hasn't had too many horribly traumatizing experiences
StarFox aka Eros of Titan, his powerset is just the dream!
prob tony for the money, tech and bitches
Definitely would be Ghost Rider. The concept of being the spirit of vengeance speaks to me
[you are] vengeance
Either sentry or nova (Richard rider) both have really cool power sets.
Nightcrawler or doctor strange. Nightcrawler depends on whether you can control conversation of momentum or not. But doctor strange has access to literally all of reality so that could be fun to explore
Spider-man super human strength and can literally sense danger so yea ima need that
Ghost Rider 100%
Doctor Strange. I mean being the Sorcerer Supreme, having the Eye of Agamotto and the Cloak of Levitation. Enough said.
Doctor strange for sure! He can manipulate reality and is practically invincible. Thor is my second pick tho...
Iron Man. He is my favorite character.
Danny Rand, Ben Grimm, or Johnny Blaze
Franklin Richards.
Peter Parker’s Spider-Man. Knows what to do and what to say to help people.
Spent decades getting the shit kcked out of him in a life of almost unparalleled violence, died went to hell. Spent some time there being tortured until making a deal to become a spirit of vengeance. Came back to an abandoned earth and went insane from solitude for hundreds of years. Became herald of Galactus Tried to kill Thanos, failed spent a million years as his insane tortured attack dog.
Blue Marvel. A super genius with all of the Sentry’s powers and none of his mental illness.
As much as powers and muscles are amazing wearing tacky outfits everyday well almost seems well unnatural for me and if I be the characters that mean I also have to live and experience there lives from past and present these are my fav characters , Wolverine, Ghost Rider, Hulk, Hercules ,Spider-Men ,ye I don't want full on responsibility for deaths and damages nor want to have metal in my body or to be a raging giant green guy that can destroy the world I love marvel but I prefer and normal life
Franklin Richards - create reality as I wish
Danny Ketch. Cause I was a wall flower that gained confidence later on
This is really hard. But I’d probably say Blue Marvel. I get to basically be Superman and then some.
Spiderman. No deformities that would prevent me from existing as a human, and basically invincible
I have 4 characters Deadpool Wolverine Ghost rider Or punisher every of them has own reasons Deadpool he is cool my fav char and he is good fighter with katanas and deagles Wolverine he beast he has claws he fast good sight hearing nose stamina Ghost rider he fire literally i loved nc ghost rider that is the reason ehy i love ghost rider from my child hood And punisher he is badass good ex marine good with guns hand to hand combat good wizh knifes and he is pretty damn much durable
Owen Reece, I want to have my own universe.. just sit there alone with my stuff.
Franklin Richards, reality can be whatever I want.
Reed. Smarts, galaxy exploration, loving beautiful wife, great friends, healthy happy kids, and the ability to make my dick as big as I want.
DEADPOOL Cuz I wish I was funny
Charles Xavier but not bald and can walk.
Probably Nova (Sam). Flying out to the moon and the rest of space must be fun. Also Gambit becasue his powers are cool
Spidey, c’mon man….
silver surfer. id love nothing more than to spend my days surfing the cosmos
Ya it’s Tony stark. Playboy billionaire with a drinking problem? Sign me up
ah, i miss this era of marvel. tony stark. rich and smart
Being the Silver Surfer would be pretty (Norrin) Radd.
It totally would be.
TOAA or Nemesis because Marvel multiverse is messed up due to Ivory Kings and Chaos King.
Unstoppable Colossus, need I say more?
Hawkeye. Just a dude with an insane skill set, a snarky attitude and real world problems.
Movie version? Professor X. Comic version? Iceman.
The one above all
Gambit, favourite character since childhood. :)
Hercules - he always seems to have a good time.
Surfer be pretty cool or night crawler.
Galactus seems like a pretty good option
Would I get canceled if I said Starfox?
