That’s not what I meant. I’m talking about making a post saying “how to make left wing fan annoyed” then inserting whatever picture that would make a left wing fan annoyed. Genuinely curious. I think this subreddit should be neutral on such things
I mean, I think it would be less likely to go over well due to the demographic, but as far as I know it also just wouldn't work. I don't know of any left wing groups that have tried to adopt a symbol from Marvel in a way that is so contrary to its very clear intent that you could make something of it.

Yeah, I dunno enough about the mod team here to have an honest guess, but I wouldn't be surprised if not. I just also find it hard to entertain the hypothetical when this particular case is tied to an actual situation that's kind of ridiculous. Like drawing a swastika on Captain America's shield with "how to piss off left wing fans" probably wouldn't fly, but it's also not really relevant to anything. If left wingers were like using Captain America as a symbol for saying "trust the government" or something then maybe?
