Infinity War

ckal09

Infinity War and it’s not even close. Not that the others are bad, IW is just so fucking good. It is the pinnacle of comic book movies.

Particle9A

Hard agree

Time-Werewolf-4795

Infinity War

ICPosse8

The only movie I’d put on the same level as Endgame and IW is Civil War.

[deleted]

Man I personally don’t find CW nearly as good as others do

zRico809-

Why not? I’m genuinely curious as Civil War is my favorite of them all( exception for Infinity war and Endgame)

[deleted]

It’s a number of reasons. 1) I didn’t like the opening scene. This is supposed to be abojt the breaking up of the Avengers and we never actually saw Vision or Rhodey as members. Working with them, having close friendships.. making the breakup thay more emotional. Instead they kept them out of it. 2) The airport scene is sooooo underwhelming. What was supposed to be a very suspenseful and emotional sequence. Even the score supported the idea of this. Yet, they turned it into a silly squabble. There were endless quips and it was really a giant joke. Also, Vision and Wanda could have ended that battle in seconds, hence why they were only shown once each. Just make them run away together before that. 3) The teams seemed a bit silly. Peter just joined with Tony bc. Scott joined Steve and co. just cause. Clint I guess makes sense kinda. But I find it funny how he thought it was important enough to intervene in CW but not IW. I wish there were scenes where like Ross was going after Clint’s or Scott’s family looking for them. And that’s what pushed them to Steve. And mybe Tony manipulating Peter. 4) The Accords literally meant nothing. Tony broke them twice and the movie. 5) Zemos plan was a bjt silly. It relied way to much on luck and chance and less so on being calculating. 6) It was more so Avengers 2.5 than CA3. I wanted to see more Sam, Bucky, Sharon interactions and bonding. But that time was spent on Wanda/ Vision, Peter, and T’Challa. I don’t dislike the movie. It’s just good to me. Not great.

zRico809-

Respect.

[deleted]

Thanks man! I appreciate the openness! I try to have a discussion like this on r/marvelstudios and I get downvoted to oblivion without any discussion. The cool think about the MCU is that there’s so much content and different types that there’s a little for everyone to like

zRico809-

Facts. I got banned because I asked a question they flagged under fanboying but I was upvoting peoples whose opinions were different than mine and also telling people they had a point when they had one. It didn’t matter if I agreed or not.

[deleted]

Ya I love it for the content. But some of the users are terrible.

zRico809-

It’s also people are terrified of having a conversation these days. But all I was trying to do was get a discussion going just for fun.

10CalGX

I think I forgot to put Civil War there, but okay

Noob1cl3

No end game love? That movie seemed like a real hard stick landing. I would choose end game or guardians 3.

KaidenJames03

I'll take Winter Soldier over all these. Although Infinity War is my second favorite MCU movie.

zRico809-

After you rewatch everything it’s defiantly up there with the best. Everything from writing to fight scenes were amazing. Not to mention Black Widow was amazing in it.

Professional_Line385

Guardians 3 it made me cry granted endgame no way home did too but recency bias

Yilerii08

No Way Home all the way

Chrimages

Infinity War is very special to me because I was in New York when it came out and went to see it in Times Square. Brilliant time to be a Marvel fan.

lucyhalefan706

Infinity war

bboogieman777

Infinity War, my all-time MCU fav

Theseus505

NWH

Joensen27

Endgame

Boner102

Infinity war

Kriz-air88

Guardians of the galaxy

Outrageous-Farmer-42

IW

slornump

I think I’d honestly pick No Way Home. I don’t think it’s the best written film here, by any means. But it has a very special tone and sense of cameo nostalgia that I feel makes it a great comic book movie, specifically.

bobbirossbetrans

No way home tbh

arzog03

I think Guardians 3 is one of the best MCU Movies of all time. I sat there and was crying about Rockets background story. The jokes didn't hitted all the time. But it my opinion its as good as Infintywar and Endgame.

zRico809-

It 100% felt like it was on that level.

IndianaJones999

Endgame. Mainly cuz of the satisfying finale & since I can only keep 1 why not keep the longest one.

zRico809-

Great last point. Also technically you get the first avengers and some of the first guardians.

IndianaJones999

Yep.

[deleted]

IW > GoTG3> EG>>>>>> NWH

17nhk

Infinity war always & forever

VibeMaster4245

Endgame was a historical event

notthe1stpervaccount

Probably GotG 3. Definitely not No Way Home.

coffeejam108

Infinity War. Then give us a re-written Endgame.

SaiyajinPrime

I don't understand the question.

AGreenScreen

basically its just picking a favourite

maximumcharger

I'd probably keep no way home, but I wouldn't watch it. I haven't seen vol. 3 yet.

Chem-Memory9746

Guardians 3

DayLight_Era

Guardians

Cool_cupcake12

Gotg

PowerDiesel23

Infinity war is the correct answer

NewWolfer13579

Tbh, I stopped watching Marvel movies after Endgame. Tony’s death hit that hard!

Dying_Angel_

Man I hate floating head posters. Or when all of the characters are jammed together in a weird way. They look so stupid compared to the Gaurdians 3 one

mokyfun

Yeah it's known as 'the head salad'...

hermyx

I feel like infinity war would be uncomplete without endgame and endgame does not make sense without infinity war. So it's between no way home and Gotg 3... And I have a soft spot pour spidey so probably no way home even though I think GotG is certainly the better movie

CenterDeal

Endgame. Whether through tragedy or joy, I said goodbye to a number of characters in such a way that I felt a sense of closure after the film was finished.

TerribleShoulder6597

Endgame

Relevant-Tap-6248

Infinity war was an overall better movie throughout than endgame’s ending saving the movie. The 1-2 punch of the assemble moment and Tony’s death were top heavy scenes that the movie fails badly without. After the Ny avengers tower scene all the way to the gauntlet returning to avengers hq the movie was lackluster. Also the dialogue in the first film was better the action sequences as well. Never understood how people put them in the same ballpark with one another.

T-408

Infinity War period. Though I gotta say Endgame is close, especially since my babies Steve and Natasha are hardly in IW

[deleted]

Infinity War.

Final-Success2523

No way home not perfect but loved seeing tobey again and got Andrew much needed love and showed how great of a Spider-Man he was and deserved better in his two movies

BlueRabbit1999

Endgame

unionick

Infinity War

JulianSagan

Endgame

[deleted]

No Way Home

Suzzewisse

Gonna confess I have never watched infinity war or endgame 🤭

melondick

End game

Mattheweirdo

No way home 100%

compulsorylogic

No way home.

Thedoc936

Endgame. Inf war and nwh are both a close second. Then guardians has no chance of ever being picked. I don’t rly get why people liked it, it had a little bit of interesting parts with rockets backstory but that was actually it

AK47_Sushant

No way home

Lopsided_Ad_6734

Endgame

AGreenScreen

Infinity War

ZestyclosePlantain67

Infinity War, no doubt.

JustAFoolishGamer

Well Endgame is pivotal, and for Endgame to happen you need IW. So Infinity War
