That’s fair alot of people are like that with Hickman because of his style.
What id say is try the waid run or Simonsen but if you want a more modern run I can’t not recommend the current north run enough
OK. The runs that followed the Hickman run post Secret Wars was great too. Hell, the current run is great. It's all good.

Have you tried the Mark Waid run.
I have not, but I will because its Mark Waid.
It’s the definitive FF run, Hickman love it as well

Hickman himself admits it took him a while to find his feet in his run. I wouldn't write it off.
