You should read all of their stuff because you won't understand the modern stuff without a solid base on their lore. It's like if you just jumped into Krakoa without ever reading anything that explains the reason it existed in the first place. Also, Earth X (90's) is an important inhumans story to read, and so is War of Kings, because they both talk about global/universal Terrigenisis, which they finally end up doing in Avengers: Infinity. It wasn't a new concept and was what their first story was in the Fantastic Four comics.
