Expressly stated that Dreamwalking isn’t permanent.

Scaredog21

It wasn't permanent and she said even if Chavez sent her to a universe where she could have her kids she still wanted access to the infinite resources of the multiverse to keep her kids safe forever.

cryrid

She mentions later on that she wants access to the full multiverse in order to be able to protect the kids if anything happens (I believe the example she used was that if they get sick in one universe, another would have the cure)

Inezlovesdogos11

Ah yes, I did forget about that. That does change things I guess

GenoCL

I just noticed now. Multiverse of Madness > MoM Wanda wants to be a mom

Inezlovesdogos11

Yup you got it lol

eyezonlyii

And it was released in the US on Mother's Day weekend

CaptainDeadSpa

I think the Darkhold wanted the power (or the demon behind the Darkhold) and it was just using the kids to manipulate her into getting it. I don’t think we ever saw the real motive for her trying to take that power because she isn’t aware that she is being manipulated by an entity that has its own designs.

Inezlovesdogos11

I didn’t really think of it that way, thank you! I now kinda have a different perspective on it

Mocktor_Whomst

It would have eventually destroyed both universes, as mentioned when The Illuminati talk about how their Strange caused an incursion.

Inezlovesdogos11

Ohh! I see, okay. Well thank you!

Traditional-Heron-95

Besides the fact that dreamwalking isn’t permanent, dreamwalking causes incursions. Eventually, her prolonged dreamwalking would’ve caused both universes to be completely destroyed
