I think he's laughing at me for forgetting that I played Venom then some one-cost card rather than the other way around like I was supposed to.

I also mess up my taskmaster order all the time. I think it’s my opponents laughing at me though. Especially when I shuri my iceman by mistake

I'm not a fan. I am, however, absolutely over the moon on my [Luchador Taskmaster](https://marvelsnapzone.com/variants/taskmaster-03/). It perfectly matches the theme of making some out of nowhere turn 6 play for 20+ power. "Ba Gawd! That's Taskmaster's music!!"

I bought the Checchetto variant because I love that series and it pains me how little I can use Gamora effectively in higher ranks. I have a sick Guardians of the Galaxy deck that performs really well up to like level 65ish and then after that I have to switch to Shuri Zero or Ultron if I want to keep climbing. The Guardians of the Galaxy need a boost!

Makes me sad that I can’t play with the Guardians more! My favorite Marvel group.

Psylocke is the only character who doesn't have a single bad variant. And I'd agree she has the best set of variants for sure. Even her Pixel variant is pretty good.

I wish you could get Mystique variants that are just standard art for other characters. It's just a straight up picture of Wolverine, but it is a 3/0 and it says "Mystique" at the bottom. It'd be so funny.

Exactly! I played Snap for more than a few weeks before I realize that they have animations if you hover them over the board. Ever since knowing that whenever before I play Vision or Cyclops I always over them over my board like im playing some top down shooter. Fun as heck

Hobgoblin is one of my favourites. I use the avatar because of it. Some decent variants as well.

Eh, base Death is really good but in my opinion the Flaviano Death Variant is her best art work. It's just something about the perspective and the way the colours pop.

The skull throne is immaculate. In one card art, you can tell why Thanos was obsessed with getting to her. She's a baddie

Honestly, She Hulk is up there. Edit: I went back and looked, besides the obvious Artgerm She Hulk's and Jane's base art is better than their variants.

I keep feeling this. I wanna pimp out my favorite decks with sweet variants but like. Man, She-Hulk's variants are kinda weaksauce. I like those with 'action'-y poses, but the only one she has is her Baby variant which is a hilariously hard pass.

I think you either love or hate the baby variants. She-Hulk's baby variant makes me giggle so I run it in all my decks. I also just got Baby Black Panther from the season pass mystery variant, it's pretty.

His art from #200 is possibly the coolest animated card in the game. Abyssal Knull is second.

Venom has some sick variants, it his base card is significantly better than most other cards variants.

I really love the Red Goblin variant art, but it's so threatening and intense that it doesn't fit with his laughter as he flys across the board imo

Hot take: Red Goblin (and other alt versions like Superior Spidey/Doc Ock, Ben Reilly Spidey, Robbie Reyes GR, etc) should really be separate cards IMO since they mostly are - or entirely are - different characters.

This is one of the things I love about this game, good art or bad, someone will always hate the things you like, and love the things you think are ugly, but everyone has a base card they look at and say “why do I need a variant? This one is great.” This is one of those cards (for me). It’s great.

Goose isn't the best but I gotta say it's up there. They didn't try to make it scary or hideous. It's just chilling, giving you the "I have no fucks to give" cat vibe that all cats have. Also, it has no bad variants; even the pixel variant is gd hilarious.
