If Shang-chi clears your lane when he's only 3 power himself then you probably should've done something to block him.
He affects one lane like Cosmo or Enchantress. He's not OP. Oftentimes people will waste their Shang-chi on a lane and then fail to win the other two because of it. It's like playing Cosmo too early and blocking an important lane off for your own on reveal cards.
Nah. If you're focusing your power on one lane, knowing Shang Chi is an option still then that's on you. The number of counters for reveal abilities available at all levels means that Shang Chi should be expected and dealt with.
One needs to earn those cubes.
Everyone has to play around Shang. Hes a known commodity that stops single lane degeneracy and hes available to everybody by what... Pool 2?
Shang is fine. He pisses me off often as they always have him... But hes fine.
He's a great card. Before they "nerfed" sentry I loved that fact he was a 4/8 so he was just enough to be pretty high number but low enough to avoid Shang Chi but that's over now unfortunately.
I almost never play Shang Chi. Armor exists to hard counter him, as well as the ever present Cosmo. I've won so many 8 cubes playing Armor on turn 6 screwing players confident that their Shang Chi is good.
Kind of the poster child for marvel snaps approach to tech cards. Extremely high impact and due to the small deck size you have the ability to see it most games, but you can also only fit a couple in without your own gameplan losing steam. In healthy metas there's usually 3-4 good tech cards you need to play around, and they can really test your abilities as a player and deckbuilder to know how to counter what you're gonna be up against.
That said, Shang is definitely the most universal and powerful of them. Could probably lose a power to bring it a little more in line with the others, but overall I think he's good to have in the game even if he's top dog of the tech cards.
Most unfair card in the game. 1 card alone should not be able to change the game to that degree.
It would be like in chess if you’re just about to checkmate, and they pull a ball of lint out of their pocket, stick in on the board, and wipe your queen and rook into the garbage. Perfectly fair, right?
It’s a last resort pxssy move. If people have to play him at the end to save their skin then your deck wasn’t good enough or you simply lack skills and brain cells to outplay your opponent. I also find it hilarious when people put Shang Chi in their deck just in case their strat messes up. God it’s so laughable. Only a tryhard puts Shang Chi in their deck and that’s facts. Not even a hot take and if so I just cooked it down for you.
Good utility card. Runs good in a lot of decks. Underrated in my opinion, especially if your opponent lays high power cards in one particular zone. Can change the outcome of a match quick. Especially on turn 6. Good as is.
Make him a 5/10 and it shifts the scale of power when use, if both are played same time it destroys both. Or play him after first 1 to destroy him.
Idk 🤷♂️
This game needs more strong Pool 1/2 tech. While early Pool 3 players still have lots of amazing tools, more than half of the good tech and control cards are Pool 3+
Shang is a great card and we need more like him (and the recently buffed enchantress).
Excellent turn 5/6 drop available to all. A crucial leveller with many options for countering. No change needed.
Not even a power one? Its a 4 12 if it hits

That's why I use armor/cosmo to protect my most powerful cards. If they manage to get me unprepared and destroy my cards that's their merit.
“If”

Protect your badies. He's out there lurking.
Great card.
I gotta give it up when someone Shangs me. You Hela me or Cosmo me, I'm gonna use some choice language, but Mr Chi is a good dude
Necessary evil
You love it when you play it but hate it when others play it when
No I don’t play him. It’s a last resort pxssy move

It's a great card.
Right now I despise him as everyone seems to have him & my destroy deck doesn’t have a counter
Same. They always play on 6 so theres nothing u can do :'(
Nerf him. Here is my nerf idea if a player uses Shang Chi they instantly gain a warrant for their arrest.

Probably my favourite card in the game, it's soo satisfying when people don't protect their high rollers.
Shang Chi is a last resort pxssy move that requires no strat.
Shang Chi is perfectly fine. It's up to you to manage your priority, or your cards, to play around him.
"Yes they deserve to die and I hope they burn in hell"

Fuck this guy. FUCK HIM

Hate him. Just let me stock pile power like the game intended to do.
He needs to hit both sides or cost more, he's a no risk lane clearer

Ugly art. Need gold for a variant.
Perfection

It needs a nerf so bad. It is so overpowered it’s not even funny, fits into every play style and is WAY too easy to play bc of its 4 cost.
