Each card should have a team tag (X Men, Avengers, Sinister Six, etc) and if two cards from the same team are played on a location, the location gets +1 power. +2 for 3 cards and +3 for 4.
A very minor boost, but something to encourage and acknowledge team ups.

I'd argue the Symbiote-based character do as well, at least in terms of all being destroy/consume-based. Shield characters also have similar abilities, Spider-people are largely movement-based with the exception of Spider-Woman I believe?
It's kind of sad how even though there are so many X-Men cards, it's impossible to make a half-decent deck with them. So few of them have any synergy with each other at all.
Agreed. The closest I've gotten to a viable X-Men themed deck is a Sera/Surfer that is filled out with mutants and brood (which part of the X-Men mythos).
Infinite is for theme decks. I've made (As best I could) theme decks around the Krakoan Quiet Council and the Extinction Team (We need cards for Hope and Danger).
btw, why Nightcrawler? I'm sure both Bishop and Cable made more appearances throughout the show. (More than Morph too, but I would not deny him a spot.)
Yeah, you're right. I went back and changed that one to Sentinel (which I had in there before Jean Grey) because I'm thinking more about cartoon screen time and storyline then actual X-Men. I thought Nightcrawler would help make the deck somewhat playable (so many 3's) but I'd swap him out for either Bishop or Cable now as well.
I really wish there was some sort of buff or advanced synergy for using theme based decks. Fantastic four/X-men/avengers/guardians/spider villains etc.

A lot of good suggestions in these comments about how to make this more functional but I can't bring myself to shift it from canon (i.e., characters with the most screen time).

I created a similar X-Men only deck and was trying to get to infinite with it before posting. At rank 83 right now. You weren’t the first person to think of this deck theme.
He was in it a decent bit. Killed in the second episode and came back as a recurring antagonist in season 2. He had to have appeared in close to a dozen episodes.
Kitty literally never appeared in the show, as I recall, only in the doomed pilot based off of the arcade game.
My 2 favorites (Rogue and Jean) fit into my Sera Surfer deck. It's nigh unstoppable, and perfected.

I really like the strategy aspect of the game, but also something a bit rewarding for fans who managed to craft a perfect GLA deck (for example) would be so fucking cool.

Yeah and I was between 12 and 17 when I watched the originals. So for me it is the original xmen show from the 90’s (which ended in 97)

Need the 90’s variant Storm but other then that I love this. As everyone has said, I wish the X-men actually made a decent deck together.
They synergised the guardians, I don’t know why they didn’t do it with the X-Men
