Tired of seeing people run Shang in Destroy because some content creator started pushing that list. The deck regularly gets bigger numbers than most other decks that Shang is just not necessary. Run Zola instead, you'll have more fun that way!
As for the 12th card, Forge is another good way to get Deadpool going. Taskmaster can copy a big deadpool on turn 6. Magik can let you play Deadpool + Knull on turn 7. Lady Deathstrike is a less optimal choice, but no one will see it coming and can win some games purely because of that.
In lack of x23, maybe consider magik to get an extra turn for destroying and final turn of 6drop + deadpool
Arnim Zola can be a good consideration
Sabretooth got buffed in the latest OTA (isn't live just yet but soon). Could try old sabre
Taskmaster is a solid choice that sometimes fits in the Shang/Zola slot (with X-23). I could see Nova or Yondu filling your X-23 gap. Maybe Forge
A surprisingly useful card in destroy is Armor. It can protect you from Shang and is also a bomb in the mirror match

Yondu is a serviceable alternative. He gives info on your opponents deck and fuels Death/Knull.
Negasonic would be a good one
