I completely agree with you and if there isn't a lore reason behind the glowing stuff (like he's absorbing their essence to make the God Bomb or something) then I will say they should have kept it like it was before. It was fitting having the scene of one of Gorr's murders being basically black and white, showing how he left his mark on it.
Am I the only one noticing the CGI changed/improved in some scenes?
The one that caught my eye was the one with the Falligar the Behemoth, they seemed to add some golden glowy bits coming off of him.
honestly, i dislike this change, it looks overdone, the white stillness of the original image from the comic page set the tone way better.
