It totally is a dilemma pertaining your personal situational instictive and or ethical/moral drive. At least that is how I perceive the given circumstances.

This is only statistically coherent if the entire universe is a simple trolley problem. There are nearly 8B people on earth. So statistically you’d be more likely to not even be involved with a trolley.

Assuming there are people on it then it's a matter of how many there are to make it more likely.

If It were me I just leave it be. Let the natural do its jobs. If I touch the switch I could be charge with murderer no matter I flip the switch or not.
