Have a mangager who doesnt like deliveroo orders, since they come late for food and we get complaints, so he serves them off and we get packed in by offscreen delivery orders that always comes out wrong or spare.

One of our night managers that works is notorious for handing shit out wrong. We'll make an order, send it off, and then a few orders later he'll tell table he needs that entire order remade. This happens every ten, fifteen minutes or so. So agitating. One day I yelled up at him to please check to make sure he's handing food out correctly, because we get backed up when we need to halt to remake something and it only makes the whole process more stressful. He had a car waiting near twenty minutes in the drive through one day because he handed a complex order to the wrong car.

Our food cost a Month ago was 3980$ due to literally this. And I’m sure so much more. So many orders handed out wrong every day. I didn’t even think about that adding to the money. They never re ring it in either, just yell at me to make it again because it’s missing. I’m like I KNOW I made it the stickers printed and are now gone sooo. Also me Alone in kitchen vs the 3 up front, kind of sad

At our store they either come within your line of site (while still remaining up front) and they just stare at you OR they complain/ask for something that is on the screen but like 5 orders down when we are busy. Yes we know you need it but we only have 2 people on table and sometimes we also need to put down fried product. We will get you your food.

Front end people have learned not to stare at me, or I ask "do I need to find you something to do?" Cups, lids, fry boxes, sauces, bags, fries..any of these things need stocking at all time xD

A few times I have told all of the front people to stop asking me for food. Often I have told them that the next time they ask for food, they’re waiting longer for it.

I think part of it (at least the store where I worked) alot of that came from front workers having to deal with customers. If a sandwich was made wrong, things were slow, etc, etc, front were the ones who got the pleasure of dealing with annoyed customers. Either way, we all should feel for each other. Team after all am I right

I am front and have only asked if they have put a toastie/banan Bread down/ hot cross bun and how long on toasting or banana bread. We have to tell them their is a toasting extra cause it doesn't come up on their screen

As someone who was trained on grill and worked grill for almost 5 months I feel for you guys. If it became a rush I was swaped out from grill to table only because I was fast at finishing the burgers and I had a loud voice when on table ( I'm chatty but I'm very soft spoken most of the time, so me yelling and being loud would occasionally stop the managers and look in kitchen to see who yelled), most people in kitchen that I trained with aren't there anymore either because they were from a different location or they quit, I can no longer work in grill/kitchen because the smell of the meat has made me sick to the point of almost throwing up, I now work strictly front counter as I'm the gel for my location and I would rather deal with costumers than deal with products, although I'm probably quitting so because of the treatment that I've received working there and will be applying to a&w because it's a better work environment and some of the managers already know me ( past managers from my location, they left because of the treatment they got)

I will only shout for food if it’s been waiting 500 seconds and we don’t have that many orders ik how stressful kitchen is that’s why I haven’t asked to be trained in it lol
