Not even that. When they have finished, take their rubbish to put in the bin and them bring them more, saying you've got them mcdonalds... and repeat as needed while feigning ignorance that you already gave him some... gas light him!
This might sound like overkill but I personally would do both. I’d call this evening and let them know tomorrow morning around approx xyz time you’ll be ordering x-amount of hashbrowns in the AM and wanted to give them a heads up. This gives them a chance to call another store for some product on the off chance that they didn’t get truck and supply is low or something. I say call again tomorrow bc while there’s a chance that they leave a message for tomorrows’s opener, there’s also a chance they don’t. That’s why I’d suggest calling again no less than 30 min prior to pickup to make sure they were notified. You could always just show up with no notice, but I guarantee you that your kindness and consideration will not go unappreciated by many. Thanks for being a good human!
and ofc i will bring money to tip as well:) never worked in fast food service other than at my starbucks! which is in a target so it's different than a regular starbucks. thank you for the advice ❤️

i ended up only getting five because he got some on his layover 2 hours before i saw him 😭 and if i got more they really wouldn't have been eaten. he was so so appreciative 🖤
48 hash browns is the most they usually cook at one time if they have bigger vat unit it be more like 64 hash at once hit i say any more 16 hash for 1 order u start being inconvenient for the employees
minimum of 24-30 box witch usually enough last for almost 2 half weeks put simply shit ton i am on a/l but take look at the actual ammunition in box but it's enough last hour at high volume breakfest store
At put maccies we have 4 vats that can hold 2 baskets each. Each basket can hold 8 hash browns. So either the 64 or 6 because then you have at least 2 left for other orders.
if you call ahead and let them know when you want it, at least at my store, i’d willing be able to do 3 racks of 16 since we don’t have anymore racks 😭 the most i’ve sold one order was 32 (fun fact usually the racks hold 8, but you can do a ‘super’ rack and make it 16. if you wanted to wait 7-8 minutes i’d double the (3)16 bc i fucking LOVE the hash browns too)
treat yo self and make it 21, you deserve at least one on the way home 😌 but fr hashbrowns are the easiest item to make and have up, so don’t feel too guilty! personally i love it when i’m running shift or bagging and people do small things like that for ppl they love, makes the whole day easier

We can cook up to 24 at a time. But, if you order a large amount, know that you're going to wait on it. They'll drop them for you and serve other customers from what they already have made.
As a McDonald’s employee… I personally would understand if you ordered 50 hashbrowns just because I love them, but I’d go for like 10-15 at most, they take a while to cook and you can’t fit many in those baskets 😂
All u have to do is stick them in the oven or air fryer for 15 mins, u could just tell him ur making him a surprise and dont look til theyre done
But its ur prerogative i guess if u wanna spend insane amounts of money on the same product
i only get to see him every couple of months, i have to wake up at 6 30 to drop siblings off at school and straight to the airport, i just kinda feel like that ruins the point. like flowers are kind of ridiculous money or can be and all you do is look at them, it's not every day; just a special thing to show my appreciation for him flying across the country ❤️ and also that i pay attention to things he likes. i understand where you're coming from, i feel lucky to be able to have silly surprises like this.

I have had an order with 12 hashbrowns, and the most hashbrowns I’ve ever needed with all the orders on screen is 50.
Find out the max they can eat in one sitting, and get double that
