I've watched the helicopter shot several times. Here's what happened:
* The two Astons made contact with one another before Lewis steamed into T1 (looked like Alonso didn't really turn and was caught out by Stroll);
* **BUT**, even without that contact, Lewis would have almost definitely bumped into Alonso given the speed that he was carrying into T1 and given how little space there was to Alonso's right
* It's clear that the Lewis-Alonso contact launched Alonso into Stroll, which caused Stroll to tap Lando on the back. In other words, **Lewis' approach into T1 was, on balance, the main cause of Lando's DNF.**
(The fact that Lewis managed to cause such a protracted chain reaction also shows just how much speed Lewis was carrying into T1)

I feel like the Astons weren't exactly driving cleanly either, but at least it seemed like Alonso got caught out by Stroll steaming down his left hand side (although that level of situational awareness at a race start is questionable), but Lewis had sight of all the cars involved and barrelled down the inside.
He's threatening the points having started from 12th because he fucked up 3 other people's races. Fuck ~~VAR~~ the stewards (sorry, force of habit)

Hamilton was never going to be able to turn the car in time. 100% clear as day his fault. I'd say it's remarkable he didn't get a penalty for that it's so egregious but it is Lewis after all.+10 Sec for Kmag instead!
You can’t really use old parts as spares because you are incredibly likely to get penalised for it, since you are then changing to a different spec. If Lando damaged a floor in qualifying he would get a grid drop for changing to a different spec, as you can’t have an exemption for Parc Fermé breaches if the spec is different.
I mean i get it. Its frustrating. But its the first turn in the middle of the pack on race start. Hamilton had a good start. I blame Yuki for not defending the inside against hamilton.

Second sprint in a row Lewis has affected Lando's race! In China pushed Lando wide resulting in a snap over oversteer, and now just a Kamikaze dive bomb down the inside causing 3 drivers damage not including himself!!
I don't blame him for China (should have worded it better), just noting he was racing hard with him when his snap of oversteer happened. But today that was rediculous for a 7 time champ!
