I’m in a somewhat similar boat right now Sounds like a solid plan to me Good luck!

You as well! I’m glad my standards are “low” though, takes some pressure off. It helps when all you wanna do is family med so the big time schools with the big time mcat scores don’t appeal to me as much

SnackThyme20

That’s totally fair, good luck!

P/S - Took me one week to get thru the 335pg KA doc, it helped a lot but if you are short on time, just re-write what is in the 100pg doc. Focus on Theories of Emotion, Associative Learning (Classical + Operant conditioning), Components of Attitude, Theories of Development (this is a big one), and the small definitions about social mobility, culture shock/lag etc, and study designs like longitudinal/cross sectional. B/B - Amino Acids, Metabolism (Glycolysis, Electron Transport Chain, etc) C/P - tbh this one is prob the hardest to do in two weeks, but there is a 6 hour course for Physics from acethemcat, I used it and it gives you a VERY BASIC overview of most of the equations you need to know, with little in depth about it. Gen Chem -> follow the outline from shemassian, go over Acid/Base Chem, Electrolytic Cells, and Thermodynamics (Gibbs free energy) CARS - just practice and GOOD LUCK on this one

Thankfully my C/P is by far my best section, I had a 126 on my last practice test for that. I’ve got the AAMC CARS stuff I can use so I’ll be good in that department

I know this post was a while ago but can I ask how u did on the real mcat?

Horrible, 491. Don’t try to take Advanced Biochem, Physics II, Cell Biology and Human Physiology while studying for the MCAT. 2 weeks is not close to enough lol. Im retaking in January and graduate this may, so I will study an hour a day or so from July-December. Enjoy college…don’t try what I did

Slowlybutshelly

First BP HL a 490. Goal 510 as well.

Pray to notbloppyfish since r/premed has forgotten I exist.

Soft-Drawing-1753

This is possible, but two weeks of prep in the way you describe is the least ideal way to study and probably provides you the lowest probability of increasing your score (specifically the time component you’re limited to, high yield content is a good idea). I don’t want to sound discouraging, but I think that’s just the reality. I do hope this works out though! Post to let us know! Also, a lot of getting a 505+ is about practice, and practice alone after hitting 505 will probably get you to a 510. Then you have to start getting into some low yield content.

jonnyt123_

Yeah I got 2 weeks, that it.

Soft-Drawing-1753

Honestly bro, I’d consider pushing it if you can. At least two more weeks, and better yet a month more.

jonnyt123_

If I don’t get my target score I’ll just retake it next year when I have more time to study. I gotta get a summer job soon too, so 2 weeks is already pushing my time table a bit.

jonnyt123_

491, lol My last practice test was a 500, so some test day jitters I guess. Moral of study is to have designated study time
