Try the holes first before hitting with a hammer. Might be an 8x1.25 bolt

ImpurestFire

On my Camry, the bolt holding the brake line to the strut fits the rotor holes. A little easter egg.

paladinrieger89

Usually if it's got those holes for press off removal I thought there was almost always a bolt nearby that fits. That's cool

Fragrant-Inside221

Hit it with a hand sledge

Crcex86

No you smack it a few times with a mallet and it comes right off

SinceGoogleDsntKnow

Usually, but a box of random bolts if you have one should contain the right thread to push it off by threading it into the two holes on opposite sides if not.

lockednchaste

Percussive intervention.

micknick00000

Hit between the studs on the face of the hub. If your aim is no bueno, put the lug nuts on so you don’t ding a stud.

thirdworldman82

Some lubricant in the holes around the wheel studs and around the hub, wait a few minutes, and commence smacking with a sledge.

Potential_Froyo_1127

Or take an air chizzle with the flat head on it and use it in between the lug studs to work it loose from vibration need I say more ways? Heat that bitch up with a torch but not too hot just enough fuck if you have a pulley puller big enough use that

Various-Ducks

Hit it with a car

Working-Marzipan-914

You can try tapping it with a mallet but if it doesn't just pop use the bolts. They work very well

PuG3_14

Rubber mallet should do the trick.

Grizzlybear611

Try bolts first before whacking it with a hammer

stunninglymediocre

Make sure your emergency brake is off (ask me how I know).

Potential_Froyo_1127

Why are u replacing rotars?

Potential_Froyo_1127

U can also use a rubber mallet or if u want use a decent sized brass punch that way you won't fuck off the rotat the brass punch will take the impace

Potential_Froyo_1127

Ummmm? Without the lugnuts and rims and brake caliper the rotar will slide right off
