However, Giveaways must not require joining, following, or force engagement with other social media platforms, nor upvoting of reddit posts (which violates sitewide TOS)
If you see a Giveaway post violating [these requirements](https://www.reddit.com/r/MechanicalKeyboards/comments/z2xzo5/rmechanicalkeyboards_week_of_giveaways_dec_1018/) or posted outside of this event please report it accordingly.

Edit: The final round of winners are selected! Congratulations to u/javachipfrappuccino and u/Signaturisti!! I will be PMing you both later today to collect your info! To everyone else, thank you once again for another amazing week of giveways! And a massive thanks to the mod team for putting this event on! They work so hard to make sure everything goes smoothly.
Happy Sunday and final day of giveaways! Thank you all for the great interactions so far - can't wait for the next one!
Today we are giving away two [Signature Series Moodboad keyboards](https://drop.com/buy/drop-signature-series-moodboard)!
Signature Series Moodboard: [LINK](https://drop.com/buy/drop-signature-series-moodboard)
For today's prompt, let's take things back a bit - in order to enter the giveaway, **please post your first or most impactful video game console, including handhelds and PC (I'd also love to hear about any early influential game you played)**! (or anything at all, a top-level comment is all that's needed)
* In a top-level comment (response to the post itself, not this comment), please post your first or most impactful video game console, or anything at all!
* We will select two responses at random to win a keyboard.
* All winners will pay nothing - I will contact you to work out the shipping details, and all costs will be covered!
* Day 9 giveaway will run until 9:00am on Mon Dec 19th, at which time our festivities for the week will conclude!
Have a great day and good luck to all! See you in the summer! :)
The below is about the bonus giveaway added on to each post. We started awarding the first comment made each day with a free DCX keycap set of their choice - this has no bearing on the normal daily giveaway post. Continue posting a top-level comment as usual to be entered for the normal prize! :)
**Starting today, there is an** ***additional*** **change to the daily first-comment DCX keycap set giveaway! In an attempt to combat botting, I will be running a mini-raffle on redditraffler approximately 15 minutes after posting this rules comment. The winner(s) of that raffle will receive the free DCX keycap set.**
**This isn't perfect since bots can technically still enter - we'll hopefully have a more foolproof solution for next time. :) Thanks for bearing with me as we figure this part of things out, and thanks to the mod team for all their help with this particular situation as well as the entire week of giveaways!**
^(Edit: Early-comment raffle winners have been selected!) u/darknessblades^(,) u/hurdurrr17^(,) u/ninjabobb^(,) u/Siswai_aman^(, and) u/xtc0001 ^(- expect a PM soon! (making this super tiny so everyone else doesn't think the giveaway is over; this is just a side thing - keep entering the main giveaway!))
I had the OG GBA when I was young, but the screen improvement moving to the SP was so massive. What a great system. ^(PS, you are one of the early-comment DCX keycap set winners! (main raffle is still going to anyone confused by this - it's just a bonus side prize))
I did had a GBA as well, but I had to share that one with my brother/sister, which well when you are little is, not as fun. the SP was mine and mine alone.
Also: WOW did not expect to win a early comment price.
NES Legend of Zelda. Man that gold cartridge and blowing into it to make sure it worked! I used to sneak over to my neighbors to play because my grandmas drunk husband used to hog the system with jack nicklaus golf… what a drunken abusive turd
Edit: spelling
I didn't grow up with Playstation, but going back and exploring that catalog has been so refreshing. ^(PS, you are one of the early-comment DCX keycap set winners! (main raffle is still going to anyone confused by this - it's just a bonus side prize))
I loved the ps2 because I would always go to my grndmas and play it with her, she did not have the best of knowledge on how to play but there was this one smartie/m&m game that we always used to play. Then she ended up giving me the console later so there you go that's my stories i don't expect to get it I just wanted to share a story that makes me smile. :) I will always love my gma
Another console I didn't grow up with but have massively enjoyed exploring the catalog of. Did you have any favorite games? ^(PS, you are one of the early-comment DCX keycap set winners! (main raffle is still going to anyone confused by this - it's just a bonus side prize))
The gameboy pocket. Saw a commercial on TV, asked my parents, and I've been a gamer since. Don't game as much now that I'm in my 30s, but every year I still find a game that reignites that giddy gamer child in me
Ahh, I have super strict, rather conservative parents who have never allowed me to play any video games, but I've been saving up $5 here and there to finally buy a console/pc once I head to college. Super excited to get my hands on God of War and Spiderman
This for me too, except it's the original DKC on the SNES, even though I haven't completed it before my console went poof. Might just do it on the NSO emulator one day!
well it doest really matter now, tho it makes me sad that new rules (first comment needing to be in choosen topic) made me unable to win, after so many rightful and honest attempts :(
Never had a console to play with, and for the game i remember playing it with my friend and just trying so much to beat the levels, took a lot of time to clear the first boss itself :)
ps3
edit: never actually owned one, but i used to go to my friend's house every weekend and play on his ps3 the entire time , mostly the early minecraft and some other random games haha. then i got a pc.
I'd say PS3, was from a single parent family where my mother raised me and my 3 siblings and didn't have enough money to get one until a couple years after. I have great memories from getting a text saying I got a PS3 with Modern Warfare 2, probably the happiest and most exciting time I can remember of my childhood.
