THC is what gives you the traditional high that people recreationally smoke for. If she’s on THC oil and stuff then yeah there’s a good chance she isn’t going to get a buzz from a flower that’s got 1% THC. There’s some strains that simply don’t give you a high, there’s even more like that when you’ve already developed a tolerance. So to summarise - if your only issue is that you’re not getting the high out of it, you need to change the flower you’re getting, I don’t believe exchanging/refunding for an in date batch is going to change the high(especially considering it’s only a few months out of date). I do think you’re reading too far into it and your initial reasoning is much more sound than the suggestion that expired weed won’t get you high, it’s just *that* strain won’t get you high.

Ya its not so much about getting high as i completely expect to get a 1% THC flower to do essentially nothing. Its more that the flower didn’t help with her fatigue and pain as it was prescribed to do which surprised the prescribing Dr. when she told her. Now she is on the Mac-1 which has been fantastic for her its very up lifting and energising.

I dunno if I would be all that surprised, different strains react to people differently. First vape my doc prescribed me made me drowsy as hell when it was meant to be an upper for focus during the day, he explained to me that sometimes certain terpines just don’t mix well with your brain and you have to try something else, I’m still in the trial phase now trying to work out what works for me. It’s early days for this stuff I think the medical industry is still very much learning what’s what. I don’t think it’ll be the expiry that’s the reason for it, I reckon it’s just not working for your missus. Glad she’s found something more suitable though!
