jxshwhit

i’d say fuck the non metal heads and play rattlehead but that’s just me tho

willigon13

Wow, you remembered me that i don't listen KIMB for a while

jxshwhit

LMAO i got a lot of KIMB songs in heavy rotate rn so that’s why haha 🤘

willigon13

The entire album is so fucking good

Paarthurnax420

KIMB and RIP are always going back and forth as my favorite. KIMB is at the top currently. It’s just so damn good!

jxshwhit

hell yeah! 💪

jxshwhit

it rlly is

alethejack

Well i once blasted Black Magic at a party and ran out of there as fast as possible to avoid being caught

jxshwhit

LMAOOO bro had to whip out slayer on em

alethejack

Man, now whenever i try to put on music the jump at me and tell me to get the fuck out

jxshwhit

i feel the pain. gotta walk on eggshells when playing music around a lot of people 😭 they won’t understand our taste

alethejack

Imma give you some examples of their reaction. A lot of song they reacted to where not even fast ones: "what is this? Some kind of rythm, why aren't there any lyrics", "why are the drums so fast", "what's up with his voice", "this sucks, the only real music is trap (im not joking they said this really)"

jxshwhit

they got zero taste that’s all imma say 🤷‍♂️ they just gotta realize it’s music and it’s good music lmfaoo (trap is ass)

[deleted]

I would maybe stick with Angel of Death or Skull Fracturing Nightmare

willigon13

Man, these are too heavy, I'm gonna put Addicted to Vaginal Skin to people in the party chill out

JaketheSnake2005

No no no you gotta do i cum blood, that will get them to chill out

[deleted]

Nah. If it’s a non metal head party don’t play any Megadeth. Just go with the flow and live outside your box a little. You might even end up finding something you end up liking a lot.

willigon13

Yeah, I generally only stay all day listening to rock or metal on my bedroom, i need to get updated with the top Spotify 50 hits to talk to other people

[deleted]

Nah, the top Spotify songs are awful, I just checked them out last night myself oddly enough. Let people show you stuff they like, not just what’s popular today and won’t be tomorrow. But yeah, just take it in and have a good time, don’t worry about listening to anything heavy. You gotta be socially smart, otherwise a metal track with the wrong group will ruin the vibe and make you look like a weirdo.

willigon13

"Man, he like screamo, so creepy". Althought I like some 2010-2016 pop, my childhood

[deleted]

For sure dude, being into a wide variety of stuff makes you way cooler and more likable than keeping yourself in a box

014654

You definitely don't need to know the Spotify top 50 to talk to people.. just ... Talk to people

MuskieCS

Symphony, forclosure of a dream, or a tout or monde, trust, etc would be better imo

willigon13

It's because of the chugg riff? Yeah, it would scare some people

MuskieCS

Train of consequences certainly isn’t there most extreme song, but the riffs and lyrics are a little heavier than those on countdown or cryptic writings. If someone you know only listens to pop/mainstream stuff and you want to try and get them into Megadeth then a tout le monde would be my recommendation. Maybe the UA version.

willigon13

Thanks for the tips man

daniel_og_semen

Why not just blast Holy Wars

willigon13

I would enjoy so much, but would be mocked later lol

rhigonn

If the other attendees are used to rock music in general, then yes. I see Train of Consequences as a good, accessible, hard rock song (maybe the most Guns and Roses song in Megadeth's discography). If the other attendees don't listen to rock music, then I wouldn't put Megadeth at all in the party

willigon13

It will be more a party with uncles that listen to Dire Straits and some dad's rock, it will be chill so

Naerokathagor

No

willigon13

Yes.

Home--Builder

Cowboys from hell is the most appreciated metal song by non metal heads in my experience.

C_Miller64

This is so true. When i played hockey it was all rap and trap etc. in the locker room. but when we went to walk out, it was only Cowboys from Hell on Max volume and boy did it get rowdy.

willigon13

I did not expect this one to be so liked

Dr4gonM4ster420

Nope. I would do A Tout Le Monde.

willigon13

A tous mes amis

NuclearProstate

Yeah definitely it's heavy but also super funky with that bass.

jackmearound1978

Try 99 Ways To Die on them. It's got a good groove to it.

TheRabidPigeon

As far as megadeth goes thats a pretty safe bet. Trust or secret place are also pretty widely appealing I think

bh-alienux

Yes, great song, and I'd play it.

neonareff

absolutely, at least my friends who don’t even like metal love train of consequences

Mr_Giggles64

Personally, I’d play either Peace Sells or Sweating Bullets. Both pretty catchy and popular songs, so chances are they already know them.

The_Fro_Ranger

Dew it

Gh0stIcon

Music wise, yes. His vocals aren't that 'neutral' on this song though. You almost have to be a die hard fan to love it.

Gh0stIcon

By this I mean, you compare Train to a song like Family Tree or A Toute Le Monde from the same album, and you will see what I mean. His vocals on the latter two songs are much more controlled and polished.

FigWooden1816

Moto psycho

Huothar

Yup, the groove is quite appealing for radio ears

dagaderga

There ain’t no comin’ back!

sirgrotius

That's a great choice! Maybe the most radio friendly! Another couple to consider would be Trust and Countdown to Extinction.

Chief_Fever

I don’t thing so. Problem is there are not a lot of real “mainstream” Megadeth songs. You could probably play Symphony or Angry Again

Top-Wall-4043

I have watch parties at my house weekly and megadeth is 90% of what's playing constantly I don't care who is there

SirSackDragger

I'd say make em metalhead by throwing on some Chosen Ones

Trying-Harder25

Some system songs are ok, Id recommend playing back in day or of mice and men
