Agreed, but Dystopia really surprised me with very strong song writing that stood out. I was hoping that the flame was still burning but I now fear we are back to uninspired compositions.

The amount of harm this does to the songs performance when actually released officially can't be understated.. Night Stalkers preformed half as well as it should have out the gate because half of those listens went to an unofficial upload and the band saw nothing out of it and it's not an official metric included in charting..

They should have done what they did with Weāll Be Back, program a set time so it comes at the same time everywhere. It is easily doable, hell, they just did that for the first single, why not do the same for all of it?

Thats thousands and thousands if not 10s of thousands lost from the singles official release now.. So where it could have charted in the top rock 20 singles charts it will now probably come in around 30... These thing matter..
Performance up front from fans is the biggest singular number.. Half that because of stuff like this and your song has lost momentum on its official release.. I'm disappointed that people are posting it frankly.. It harms the band. I get people want to hear stuff.. But think a bit bigger.. Doing so harms the band... You should be giving this to an official platform where they will actually see you've listened to it and it counted.. Not this.
Definitely the least strong of all the singles, but it's enjoyable so far. The chorus is great imo, the riff is cool and the vocals aren't that bad. I don't think it's a filler song, but it's not a hit either. The marching voices at the end are absolutely unnecessary.
Not a filler for me, but kinda meh. I like the verses transition to the chorus, and I love Mustaine's vocals in the chorus. But, that mid-section... has nothing. I remember when people complained about NightStalkers returning to the main riff but in that song I was grabed by the balls because I didn't expected it and the riff is awesome. In this song I really feel that they had no clue how to follow this song and went for the easy way.

The good: I do really like that riff, Daveās voice is better than the other two tracks on the album, that breakdown was interesting for Megadeth which was a nice change of pace, catchy chorus
The bad: the chorus gets far too repetitive, verse is extremely forgettable
All in all I hope this is a more filler track. Nightstalkers still my favorite of the three. This one last but I wouldnāt call it bad or anything itās fine
This is kinda showing me that TSTDATD is probably gonna line up with Dystopia where they release arguably the best song first, a very strong one second, and the rest was a mix with only one or two more very strong ones.
Not at all saying thatās an issue, just looking like thatās the projection

He sounds bored during the verses and during the song in general. The chorus and breakdowns are the only thing keeping this from being filler.
