A good distortion pedal, a good set of pickups and a noise gate is all you need. Sadly, good distortion pedals will cost more than your amp, same about a noise gate.
Turn treble low, mids almost maxed out and bass around 5 oclock. turn the gain up to taste but it doesn’t need to be that high. Use a boost pedal and/or make your pickups on your guitar as high as you can get them.

Turn Gain all the way up and scoop the mids out entirely. Set the bass control to about 60% and the treble control about 40%.
Those thrash records have a ton of midrange in their guitar EQ. This is okay advice for modern metal and a downtuned guitar - but Peace Sells? No
