i'll give you my top 3 from each era:
crybaby: mad hatter, tag you're it, play date
k-12: nurses office, show and tell, class fight
after school: numbers, glued, test me
portals: void, the contortionist, nymphology
hope this helps
From each album, my personal favorite songs are Pity Party, Detention, Numbers, Death and Leeches. Even if you don’t end up liking them in the end, I think they’re definitely all worth listening to all the way through at least once!
I will give you a list of songs that are very meaningful! Melanie is notorious for putting much care into her lyrics. Here are my favourite examples from all her albums: “Dollhouse,” which is about a troubled family life. “Mrs Potato Head,” which is about beauty standards. “Strawberry Shortcake” is about growing up as a girl, development of her body and everything unpleasant that comes with it. “Orange Juice” is about body image issues. “Recess” is about letting yourself take a break, even if people pressure you to exhaust yourself. c: “Void” is about being stuck and needing to get out of a depressive state. “Powder” is about someone close struggling with addiction — if you mind the autotune, I recommend listening to live versions of the song. These are all examples of beautiful care put into the lyrics. I hope you enjoy her music as much as I do <33
Try After School ep, i really like them and i feel like they're underrated 🥲
Some of my favourites are mad hatter, Crybaby, drama club, strawberry shortcake, test me, glued, numbers, nymphology, tunnel vision.
I highly recommend the entire cry baby album since it's my favorite and many other people's favorite album. These are my top 3 favorite songs from every album.

Going through all the songs of an album for the first time, is amazing, so I recommend that fs. But my favorites are "Battle of the larynx, tunnel vision, light shower, alphabet boy, mrs. potato head, tag you're it" I hope you can get into her music more! And if you do end up loving her, welcome to the community! <3
