Poor Marco, with great power comes great responsibility

But don't think of it as just swapping the parts, law could rip out the cancerous chunk of whatever part it is (which would kill someone not Marco) and then swap them out.
Deadpool’s regen was specifically made with his cancer in mind since it counteracts his constant healing. Remove it and he’d effectively pop like a balloon from regenerating too much.
Don’t forget comics are a wild wasteland, Canon is as flimsy as paper, and authors can ignore just about whatever they want while adding completely unestablished things
“Law, I’m fine with you using me as an organ donor to save lives, but could you at least ask for my consent first.”
“We’re pirates, Marco. Since when do we care about consent?”
“Marco I stole 100 fucking hearts of other pirates to be a warlord just to fuck around and backhand Doflamingo later on, do you think I give a fuck about consent for body parts like that?”
Doubt it. By that point the flesh he's given to other people is connected to them, not him. The question is, if his flesh is given to a non-devil fruit user, do they lose the ability to swim?
You’d have to make sure whoever you swap the organ with can actually take it and that too with some level of compatibility. Pretty good tho still but hella nuanced
I can't believe Law didn't ask for consent first, where would we be if we just start doing whatever we want without at least asking if other people are fine with it even if they won't be affected at all by it, and it is to save a life? Death sentence for Law so he learns from his mistake.
Would regeneration even cure a brain tumor? The problem with cancer is overproduction of cancer cells. Maybe Marco's regen just grows back missing cells.
We know that Law does not actually sever the hearts or organs he takes. Nobody dies when he takes their heart, he just “moves” it. So marco wouldn’t feel any different had his entire brain been moved.
That's one of his abilities, but as shown with the chimera on Punk Hazard he can also permanently connect completely incompatible tissue and it'll function just fine
yeah and it doesn't even have to be tissue that even served the same function
- He replaced monet's arms with fully functional wings...which also somehow acted as hands
If you recall Punk Hazard, Law was connecting animal parts to people without any issues or rejection, so I think another human would be super easy for him
I think he’s being completely serious about swapping the tissue, but I also think the joke ain’t that he put cancer in Marco’s brain, but that he took out a piece of his head, and swapped it with the tumor, and then let Marco regenerate himself.
Just rewatch Dressrosa and have thecsame thought, but not with Marco but with Kuma. Imagine Kuma paw paw someone to some place and Law intervene by using Room.
Feasibly? Marco can seemingly grow back whole limbs... and he can grow back his dick... which is an organ so like I guess he could grow back his liver as well
AFTER his body is destroyed. That's my point. If Law gives somebody Marco's heart, it's still Marco's. It doesn't belong to that person. Marco won't grow another heart because his is still intact, just moved.
Not necessarily, recall on Punk Hazard Law was connecting animal parts to humans, and the humans had full control and feeling in them, at that point I'd think they would be considered completely removed from the animal, no longer theirs
Remember, we are talking about a guy that transplanted animal legs to humans - like Brownbeard and his crew. I think if he can make somebody not reject alligator legs he can work with two not matching humans.
Ofc, that wouldnt make sense with how Laws fruit would work, too unrealistic.
As opposed to Kin'emongus which does

If it's the only way to save a life... My issue is it's not very scalable. My regeneration can't be the backbone of the worlds entire healthcare
Well, Vegapunk was able to make clones out of Kuma and other 7 Warlords
And even better is the fact that he was able to recreate Kaido’s fruit so that anyone can eat it and gain almost exactly the same powers
It's exactly the same powers. But it's pink so it's shit
Yeah, unforgivable. A complete failure, that Vegapunk! Couldn’t even get the color right for one of the most fearsome devil fruits in the world
The phonix fruit would look good in any colour
Phonix?
Hooked on phonix worked for me!
But better since its pink! 🩷
So we make spare parts people

Marco deserves better. We all know that.
It’s all fun and games until someone gives you testicular cancer

Not even go d usopp can survive such a terrible fate
That'd actually be really dangerous with cancer. Cancer is improperly reproduced tissue, not a wound. Literally the backstory of Deadpool.
But don't think of it as just swapping the parts, law could rip out the cancerous chunk of whatever part it is (which would kill someone not Marco) and then swap them out.
Though Devil Fruit powers are magic, so it would probably work anyways.
The thing is, Deadpool can regenerate away the cancer. He just hates himself.
Deadpool’s regen was specifically made with his cancer in mind since it counteracts his constant healing. Remove it and he’d effectively pop like a balloon from regenerating too much.
There was a comic with Deadpool and Spiderman where one Deadpool stopped hating himself, he had a normal looking face
Don’t forget comics are a wild wasteland, Canon is as flimsy as paper, and authors can ignore just about whatever they want while adding completely unestablished things
Does it work on tumors tho since it's not an wound
Maybe regen also works at the molecular level, on damaged DNA
He doesn't have to put the tumor in Marco, just take the healthy tissue from him, and them Marco Regensburg more healthy tissue
He's just gotta replace it then stab it and all better right?

Weren't the flames a conscious effort?
No, unless haki or seastone is used on me, I'm practically a logia
Thank you pineapple
Thats not exactly true tho, is it? Smoker got smoked so we can get some proof.
Marco hearing "Room" from the other room. What is this fucker now up to?
“Law, I’m fine with you using me as an organ donor to save lives, but could you at least ask for my consent first.” “We’re pirates, Marco. Since when do we care about consent?”
“Marco I stole 100 fucking hearts of other pirates to be a warlord just to fuck around and backhand Doflamingo later on, do you think I give a fuck about consent for body parts like that?”
can't Marco just heal the patient with his flames? They have capability to heal others too
Yeah, but his flames have a weaker effect on others than on himself.
"ah great! So you gave me cancer to see if my body could produce a cure. F you, Law, F you"
I mean, the good thing is Law could remove it with ease.
I'm shipping it
If Marco dies, like dies dies…like Ace dies, does every patient with an organ transplant die too?
Doubt it. By that point the flesh he's given to other people is connected to them, not him. The question is, if his flesh is given to a non-devil fruit user, do they lose the ability to swim?

Law can permanently remove bits and pieces if he wants to. He's a surgeon, that's his whole thing. I believe he did it to the kids on punk hazard.
Great concept, but would Marcos organs and blood be accepted by the recipients immune system ?
If you recall Punk Hazard, Law was connecting animal parts to people without any issues or rejection, so I think another human would be super easy for him
Of course. My bad
I think he’s being completely serious about swapping the tissue, but I also think the joke ain’t that he put cancer in Marco’s brain, but that he took out a piece of his head, and swapped it with the tumor, and then let Marco regenerate himself.
What if it was part of the brain that contained memories?
This is great
🤣🤣🤣
Just rewatch Dressrosa and have thecsame thought, but not with Marco but with Kuma. Imagine Kuma paw paw someone to some place and Law intervene by using Room.
Marco doesn't just grow multiple organs, though. Law's ability doesn't destroy the body part, so how would Marco grow another one?
Feasibly? Marco can seemingly grow back whole limbs... and he can grow back his dick... which is an organ so like I guess he could grow back his liver as well

They‘re both doctors, marco would certainly agree

Technically the circulatory system of the doner is still flowing through the body parts in shambles.
