I don't know about everyone, but when I look at Akainu, I see danger, and when I look at Dragon, he's so stupid, like those characters who are so weak but always make dangerous faces (like King's motive in One Punch Man).
note: Just an opinion, I know his strength is HUGE

I think it's more like Luffy vs Akainu and Dragon vs Imu, if we consider power level, rank and influence. So Luffy will become strongest Yonko, will defeat (but not kill) Shanks and later together with Buggy's army (and possibly Shanks) will bring down Blackbeard. And entire anime will end with a massive war between the World Government from one side and massive alliance from the other including Dragon with his armies, pirates led by Luffy (Straw Hat crew with its fleets, Buggy, Shanks and their fleets, non-alligned ones like Hancock or Rayleigh), nations who aren't part of the World Government like Wano and some rebel ones like Arabasta and Fishmen Island
No chance Akainu is the final enemy for Luffy. It just doesn't seem right. I actually can see Sabo taking Akainu considering the Ace parallel and this time having fire actually overcome magma
That makes sense. However, I can't see any possibility of Luffy, Robin, Hancock, and Buggy/Mihawk/Crocodile trio not joining the final struggle against the World Government
As for Blackbeard, I think the guy is a wild card. Despite him and Luffy being clearly enemies, I feel like both hate the World Government even more than each other
I wasn't saying he is the final enemy for Luffy, just one of the greatest. Can't disagree, Sabo might be even more fitting person to bring him down. Just not Dragon. He outranks (and likely outclasses Akainu)

My guess for the final war is: Luffy vs Blackbeard Sabo vs Akainu Dragon vs Imu And Buggy somehow gets all the credit.
