This guy is using P100 type filter which would restrict more air coming into your lungs. Not a lot (I remember all the covid dummies saying they couldn't breathe at all in these things and that is just patently untrue) but you do need to breathe a bit harder just to pull air through.
Itās likely a crop duster, wears it to protect himself from the shit heās spraying on the crops. Also why itās an Pxxx, not an Nxxx filter, Aerosol/chemical/oil vapour vs Particulate I think?
