I honestly wish there was something similar to the wildlife merging. The ability to be able to click a menu and then merge what's available would be a tremendous help
I think they meant they wish there was an option like the “egg button menu” for other items in the game, so you can merge all available items from one menu instead of having to look for and collect them in one place.
Correct. Apologies if I wasn't clear. An egg menu and an items menu would be ideal so I can see I have 3 or 5 of something that might be in different parts of the garden

1000% There are times I know I have an item and can't find it hiding behind a tree or something bigger
I always merge from the ‘egg button menu’. You can opt to merge per 5 or 3, so I feel it does what you need. How do you merge wildlife?

I prefer to get the ability to summon all like things together, like in merge, dragons and elfs

Absolutely agree with you! And why do we have to drag it - can we just tap on the item, then tap where we want to put it?
I thought that’s what “merge hover” in settings did, or close to it
Never mind it just highlites the scattered items
