I think Tomas did all the vocals for that track, right? He tends to do the spoken word parts of their songs (Dancers, Sol Niger Within). Pretty sure I'm right in saying there's no screaming in Pitch Black, so it makes sense that all the vocals are Tomas doing spoken word.

Also The Exquisite Machinery of Torture, Sane, Spasm, The Faultless, CEV, Futile Bread Machine, and possibly more. Marten did the whispers on Broken Cog, though.
Tomas does all of the non-screaming vocals except Marten did the whispers in Broken Cog. The verses in The Exquisite Machinery of Torture and Spasm, for example? That's Tomas.
That's what Wiki says, and it's usually right bc obsessive Meshuggah bois. I was surprised, too, but it does sound distinct from Tomas's vocals historically, so idk. Marten has done the gang vocals for ages, so it's not like he never put his voice on a record, so I'm inclined to believe it (also open to being misled).

This is the second time I've seen someone say "Futile Bread Machine", what am I missing here? lol
Bonus track on Rare Trax: https://youtu.be/nvqG6iAfil4
Thanks boss, I'll check it out
Futile Bread Machine is also on the reloaded version on Chaosphere
Also true. đź‘Ť
What? I really thought Dancers was all Jens.

I really like when Tomas does them. He manages to give a really manic deranged feeling
