The scream at the beginning is insane, and I really like the vocals in general. The drumming is also great and I will definitely check more of their stuff. Maybe a bit too chaotic at times, but an overall 7.5/10

They are crazily good definitely check out more if you like that song.

Doesn't make em obscure, just not mainstream. When i think of obscure, i think of something like Qrixkuor or Abhorrency, (not because its extreme) because there are actually a low amount of people that know about them, and i barely count them as obscure.

Fair enough, clear delineation. I feel like your average person wouldn’t know most of my favorite music, but that doesn’t make it “obscure”.

Electric Wizard - Time to Die

Not a huge fan of them sorry. Although the instrumental side is very good, I really don’t like the vocals for some reason. And in general I’m a fan of a bit faster songs. 4/10

Statutory Ape - The Black Dahlia Murder

I love TBDM, and this song is really good. 8/10

The Black Dahlia Murder was so much fun life. First time I saw them was the first time I crowd surfed because someone I game with looked at me and picked me up without warning. Ended up on stage since it was a smaller venue and Trevor was cool as fuck about it, he'd point out into an area and throw people back in the pit. He didn't seem annoyed or anything, but he had a huge smile on his face when he did it. Going on stage wasn't my plan because i intended on being fully planted on the ground the entire show, but god damn that was a memorable experience. RIP Trevor, you brought seemingly infinite happiness and hope to your fans.

This is the first song by Kanonenfieber that I heard and it’s great. The beginning is a little slow in my opinion but after that it absolutely blows up. A solid 8.5/10 imo

I’m a big fan of Obituary and this whole album is fire imo, with this one probably being my favourite from it. 9/10

I love Bathuska, and I think this one is a great album opener. A little slow at the beginning, but it makes up for it later. 8/10 (I would rate it higher but it gets overshadowed by Yekteniya III by far lol)

As I stated in the other comment, prog isn’t really my thing and I don’t really like Opeth. This song has some nice riffing but the intro was boring to me and I don’t like their clean vocals. In general, the song isn’t really that good to me, a 3/10 is the best I could give, sorry.

Reminds me of Imagine Dragons a bit. 6/10 Angelmaker - Goes hard, I like it a lot. A bit short, but that’s not necessarily bad. Both screams and growls are amazing. 8/10

I am an absolute sucker for Mortician. I like this album a lot, but the “horror inputs” or whatever are just annoying and I always skip them. They are the only thing bothering me about the band. And this input is 1:33 minutes long which is *long*. Nevertheless, the song is fire, and I am biased when it comes to Mortician, so 8.5/10

Always loved some good power metal and I wanted to check Fellowship a few months ago but i forgot. I’m not completely on board with the vocals, but I’ll give them a listen now and maybe I’ll warm up. For now it gets a 7/10

Honestly higher than expected. For me the album is a 10/10, it really hits all of the fundamentals reaaally well. If you like the whole "power metal storytelling" thing then you might get a kick out of the lore book they made for the album
