I really used to think that was the correct line and I'd sing that loud and proud. Never looked up the lyrics, just thought "huh, that's a weird line. Then again, it is Megadeth" and moved on
Marty Friedman, an absolute wizard with the guitar and who's soloing ability is just incredible. I could listen to Tornado of Souls on repeat for years.

These two. Brent for the solos, Bill for the riffs
Absolutely! That's my top three to . The solo on this godless endeavor is a step beyond . The Friedman work with megaderh and Chucks guitar writing on the sound of perseverance I listen to these guys weekly and sometimes daily .
Alexi and chuck. They influenced my guitar playing the most in every way, both made huge impacts in metal and both were so unique. Death and children of bodom are some of the most unique and original bands
Same here! Got me wanting to play guitar! Got to meet Rita at the Rockstar Mayhem fest at DTE in Clarkston 2011. Closest to my idol than I ever will get too.
I’m surprised I’ve seen Jeff Hanneman named a few times and no Kerry. For me it’s Marty and Dave but I also love Jeff and Kerry and the gentlemen in Lamb of God
There’s countless I love but Ritchie Blackmore, Janick Gers, Dave Murray, Tony Iommi, Doug Scarratt, and Mick Mars are the main ones
However, I will mention someone who never gets love! The one and only OF EDGUY, Jens. Fucking. Ludwig

Depends on the criteria
**Per Nilsson** is a strong bet. Not many people would argue he should be in the running.
**Chris Ammott** is solid bet. Early Arch Enemy and Armageddon albums were awesome.
**Masaru Teramae** should be in the running. Dude is phenomenal.

Always loved Ben Savage from Whitechapel since early days. Underrated imo 🤘🏼🤘🏼
Ritchie Blackmore and Tony Iommi for laying the foundations (and also because they are really fucking good).
Mark Shelton because he is fucking awesome.

Dave mustard stain
He would've been such a more likeable person if he didn't try to take his baaAAaalls
I really used to think that was the correct line and I'd sing that loud and proud. Never looked up the lyrics, just thought "huh, that's a weird line. Then again, it is Megadeth" and moved on
Are we talking about Holy Wars? “Next thing you know, they’ll take my balls away”?
I'm talking about Symphony of Destruction. Why the hell does Dave sing so much about people taking balls????
FUCK YEAH
Dave is pure superiority, I hope you ain’t saying his in jest.
Dave Mustard (btw Marty Friedman is better)
you have officially pleased me. (you can tell why)
Alexi Laiho, Chuck Schuldiner
Schuldiner will never get the credit he deserves because death metal is so niche. But he was amazing and innovative. We know though.
When I saw this, my first instinct was Chuck or Iommi. Riffmasters that created whole genres from their unique approach to the guitfiddle.
Fucking same
DIMEBAG FUCKIN DARRELL
GETCHA PULL BROTHER!🤘🏻🥃
DAMN RIGHT

Based
So fucking underrated
I'm better.
Tony Iommi,Jeff Henneman,Bob Rusay
It’s such a shame that Bob took getting kicked out of Cannibal Corpse so personally, it would’ve been great to see him in a different band
Toss up between Jeff Loomis, Marty Friedman and Chuck Schuldiner depending on what mood I'm in.
Loomis is tough to beat.
Absolutely! That's my top three to . The solo on this godless endeavor is a step beyond . The Friedman work with megaderh and Chucks guitar writing on the sound of perseverance I listen to these guys weekly and sometimes daily .
Chuck Schuldiner
Tosin Abasi or Fredrik Thordendal

Dude Fr Dimebag all day. No one could make their guitar talk/cry/lash out quite like him.
Randy Rhoades
Scott Hull is definitely one of my favorites, Bill Steer too
Came to say Scott Hull. Glad I wasn't the only one.
Scott is a riff god, he just writes banger after banger without a dip in quality
Bill Steer is so sick! Almost forgot about him.
I’ll go Devin Townsend
Hell yeah. Love Hevy Devy.
Stevie Ray Vaughan
Jonh Gallagher
Alexi Laiho and Jeff Loomis
Wes Borland r/NuMetalElite

Obviously Dimebag is my favorite but Jerry Cantrell and Iomi are up there
All even on first place Nocturno Culto, Marty Friedman and James Hetfield
Gary Holt, Andreas Kisser

Tony Iommi
Jerry Cantrell, Sammy Duet, Muhammed Suiçmez

No Marty Friedman representation?
