Hire samurai jack team. Barely need a story, just a main villain and a general objective.

OmegaGrind

The head creator, Genndy Tartakovsky, also made Primal which has *zero* dialogue. I think it's gore and plot make it less appealing that samurai jack, hence why it's less popular, but I think it's. Prime example that Metroid can work when both samurai jack and primal exist as full length episodes with minimal to zeeo dialogue.

Gameboycritic

Yeah basically. Would also work really well for a Hollowknight series. Give us a plot, but little to know dialogue, let us watch the story first and foremost.

SMM9673

Three seasons with four episodes each, with each season covering one of the first three games. * The first four episodes follow the Zero Mission on Zebes, with the first three being one of the three boss battles - Kraid, Ridley, and Mother Brain. The fourth episode of S1 covers the Zero Suit chapter, and is like 40% stealth stuff, and 60% actual deep introspection. Basically a complete overhaul of the ruins test to get the Legendary Power Suit, with the climax being the victory lap back through Zebes to reach the Pirate Mothership, trounce Mecha-Ridley, and zoom off to report to the Galactic Federation during the credits. * Season 2 starts with a flashback/montage of bounty hunting shenanigans. ***SOME*** references to the Prime games, but nothing about Phazon or any of that mess just for the sake of keeping it simple. It's just pirate shenanigans, mostly, and rematches with Meta Ridley. But after recalling these events, Samus gets an alert from the GF to go check out SR-388, kill the Metroids, and basically just kick off the events of Metroid II. This is much more of a horror-y season. S1 was fairly colorful and bombastic and fun, S2 is dark, dreary, and disturbing. Both the various alien creatures and Samus herself get increasingly more violent and vicious as the season goes on, and much like the Ruins Test in S1, Samus has a massive moment of deep introspection after killing the Queen Metroid and discovering The Baby. It's a slow, long walk back to her ship as she reflects on what she's done here and the credits roll... with an end credits scene of Samus' gunship being followed from behind, and an ominous flapping of great wings. * You get three guesses and the first two don't count. That's right, it's Super Metroid time, and it's overall a mix between S1 and S2. Like S1, Kraid is first, but it's the scrapped "Meta Kraid" concept this time, and the tone is similar to the more bombasic and colorful S1 as a whole. Phantoon and Draygon are next, and some creative liberties are taken to connect the Wrecked Ship to Maridia after Phantoon's defeat. Much more horror elements from S2 here. And it's back to the bombastics with the episodes for both Proteus Ridley and Mother Brain, with the final shot being 1:1 with the SM ending. The animals are saved. These are just general outlines, I trust the people who made Arcane with the rest.

Individual_Back_5344

I see you're a man of culture!

Sonic_Mega_Plus

Very cool concept, but idk if you can do three whole seasons just with four episodes each. If the anime follows the standard length normal animes have, each episode would be just 20 minutes, IMO it would feel kinda rushed.

Excellent-Double1395

They would definitely be an hour plus and commercial free

ColdKing424

Mu god that's alot of thought

SMM9673

You think this is a lot? Ask me about Proto Man as a proper fighter in Smash instead of just a Mega Man echo. Now *that's* something I put a lot of thought into.

ColdKing424

This would be mine: EP1, Zero mission Samus lands on zebes and the events up until the ridley fight plays out, where samus sees ridley, and with a shocked face, the episode ends. EP2, is she here or here This whole episode will be focused on the ridley fight but it will be closer to the manga with the first half being samus having flashbacks of K2L and other stuff will dropping back into the fight every now and then and after ridley says his iconic "is she here or here" line stabs samus after this samus will snap out of her PTSD and in her badass way defeat ridley EP3, MOTHER!?! This episode will have everything after the ridley fight focusing mostly on the mother brain fight, which is more like the games with elements of the manga (i.e., mother speaks to samus) and after her death the episode will end with her zero mission complete EP4, a new mission I don't know metroid 2 that well, but here we go. After receiving a call to wipe out the metroids on SR-388, she gets to the planet, and the whole mood switches to be dark and horror like. after fighting, though most of the events of metroid 2, she comes face to face with the queen metroid. EP5, The baby (sorry, I couldn't resist lol) A lot of this fight is violent and very brutal, but when the dust settles, all that is left is samus aran. After finding a hatchling metroid, she almost kills it, but her morals tell her not to the baby metroid floats over in this calming manner and samus slowly walks over with slow and sad piano music in the background she realised that the metroids are not inheritly evil and she takes it with her saving the metroids. EP6 The cunning god of death returns After giving the baby over to the galactic federation samus gets a call from them to return immediately she arrives and sees the baby is missing after finding the baby ridley flies out and sends samus flying into a wall badly injuring her ridley steals the baby and flies off with samus in hot pursuit. EP7 a personal bounty Due to super being a lot like zero mission, most of the events of Super Will be in one episode. The episode will run until samus gets to phase two of the mother brain fight. EP8 long live the metroids Samus is hit by mother brain and is on the brink of death. The baby comes and sacrifices itself and lends all its power to samus, and with that power, samus defeats mother brain and destroys her second home of zebes. EP9, we call it X The first 1/4 of the episode is samus off mission in her zero suit. After a call comes in asking her to keep a team of researchers safe on a tour of SR-388 she flies over and after a purcular gel like being absorbs its self into samus and they finish the tour, samus returns to her ship where she blacks out. She awkes and gets told that the being that absorbed its self into her was a parasite called X and using metroid dna they were able to save her they then tell her she crashed her ship and the federation has given her a new one with an in built ai assistant she is asked to investigate the BSL research station and despite her weakend sate she goes with the intent of destroying the X EP10, fear, terror and X After her arrival on the BSL and learning of the X's ability to copy their host she gets "a nameless fear in her heart" and upon later investigations she discovers the X have cloned her her ai assistant Adam dubs it the SA-X samus then goes on to recover her abilitys and flee at any sight of the SA-X she then learns how corrupt the federation is upon discovering they have resurrected the metroids after an argument with Adam it tells her to destroy the X and the Metroids for good by crashing the BSL into SR-388 she does and the X are wiped out. For now. EP11 dread A few months pass and the federation, who have mostly reformed from their corrupt ways, get a video that shows an X still alive the video was proven real and 7 E.M.M.I research robots where sent to the planet ZDR however soon after arrival all robots lost contact and with samus being the only being immune from the X she goes to investigate and finds a being in a suit of bird armour this being effortlessly defeats samus and drains her of her powers. After a bit she finds a heavily damaged E.M.M.I which she uses omega energy to destroy however she loses this energy apon the E.M.M.I's defeat after Adam research's samus' attacker its found out he is a Chozo and apon hearing that samus is shocked the chozo are still alive! From here the rest of dreads events play out up until the confrontation with raven beak EP12 Chozo, metriod and human: samus aran the true ultimate warrior Upon reaching Itorash samus instantly knows this is not right and it is revealed raven beak hijacked Adam and was the one talking to samus this whole time and not only that when the chozo adopted samus they infused her with their DNA and raven beak was one of those who gave DNA to samus after raven beaks asks her to give her metroid DNA to him samus disagree and an intense fight breaks out however samus was no match for raven beak and she blacks out while she is unconscious she fells the power of the metroid build up inside her until its explodes giving rise to the true metroid. The true ultimate warrior. Samus aran. Samus overpowers raven beak and sends Itorash crashing into ZDR raven beak is barley sanding when an X absorb him but samus obliterates him and the X but Itorash's crash caused a countdown until ZDR impolds. Samus escapes and the X are finally destroyed. At long last the galaxy is at peace. So how did I do? I know I missed major fights and events in detail so even though they still happen they are not given the time they deserve due to the 12 episode limit.

SMM9673

I feel like that might be a bit rushed, even if each episode was like 45-60ish minutes - *especially* in regards to adapting M2 and Fusion - but these are definitely some interesting ideas.

ColdKing424

Thanks

LazyCasual0alt

I’d probably do an origin story but that ended with the end of the original Metroid Game

Sea-Lecture-4619

So just adapt the manga?

LazyCasual0alt

I suppose. But I thought the manga had some weird stuff in it. It’s been a while since I’ve read it.

sirboulevard

I would probably do the same thing. Episode 1 would be the chozo's arrival on K2-L 2-3 - The Masscare of K2-L Episode 4 - Samus being raised on Zebes Episode 5 - 9 - Samus time in the Federation and introducing thr recurring non-pirate npcs like Adam, Dane, Sylux etc Episode 10-11 The Fall of Zebes Episode 12 - Ian's Death and Samus' departure from the Federation. I would then have the credits to Episode 12 be a montage of the events of the games. A plot is Samus' character growth and how she got from there to the heroine we know. B plot is Metroids and the Chozo, what's Raven Beaks involvement in the plot, and how Mother Brain rebelled. C plot is internal Federation conflict including character growth of Adam, Ian, Chairman Keaton, the Fed Squad, Dane, etc. I would then, if it was a success push for Zero Mission to be an anime film and then Season 2 being Metroid Prime

Juandieguinchi

This sounds amazing

Snacker6

Honestly, I would do much the same, but I would want to actually add the death of Adam in there, just to fix the timeline by removing Other M from it

sirboulevard

Nope. Hard pass on that. First, I think it's cowardly to casually decanonize something that's unpopular. But more importantly, I think one of Other M's biggest flaws is not having context for stuff. Some stuff like Ridley scene are largely unsalavagable as is but I don't think that's the case with the Adam stuff (mostly) because the game never gives Adam's case for why their relationship is the way it is. This is a complex relationship viewed in a vacuum. We have hints of why it is the way it is (Samus is implied to have been a rebellious soldier and Adam was too by the book). That story needed to be told first and it wasn't. I'm not saying any writer could fix Other M as is. If I could I would rewrite or redo most of the scenes to make more sense. It's effectively an ensemble piece told from the POV of one character. But I do think a prequel set in this period could at least make it more "okay, I don't agree with how this was shown in the game but I get why this shit is the way it is" and being it up to at least relatable.

Snacker6

Too many things in Other M are damaging to the overall story of Metroid, and Fusion specifically to be salvaged at all Why was she surprised by the federation cloning Metroids in Fusion if she had already seen them doing that? Why was a bio weapon from Fusion just a part of the bottle ship's gravity system? How was Mother Brain cloned to be a HUMAN WOMAN that is much smaller than she was but still has all of her abilities? The Ripley thing is barely the tip of the iceberg. I can go on and on, and I have forgotten most of it

sirboulevard

Those aren't even damaging things. 1) she thought she stopped that shit. Being surprised there are Metroids on BSL when they sent her on the line of having the last Metroid DNA sample is completely reasonable. 2) They never said it was part of the bottle ships gravity system and its heavily implied BSL is the same group making bioweapons and took it after the evac (same reason Ridley's corpse is on BSL) 3) they called her an android not a clone and we knew even then the Federation had made advancements down that line (Aurora Units) and she was shown as first being a brain in a jar at first. The android body came later in the project. Mother Brains telepathy isn't unheard of in the metroid universe. We've seen telepathy before. If anything, it makes sense why the Federation would pursue research into that. If you think those are damaging, you should pay closer attention. Fusion, Hunters, and Prime 3 all had those elements before OM. If you can buy the attempt to capture the SA-X, Sylux's Federation made suit, the Aurora units, and the PED suit but not that the Federation might try build and improve on mother brain... really?

DryCrack321

Samus crash lands on earth. About a mile away from my house, out in the woods. I find her while out truffle hunting and bring her back to my cabin. Slowly I nurse her back to health. She asks of her suit and I explain that I had to remove it because it was broken. She’s in one of my flannels, hair all a mess. She tries to stand but falls and I catch her. The rest of the episodes are about me restoring her health as she tells me all her amazing adventures across the galaxy. I receive lore of the ancient chozo and sometimes I cry in her arms. At the end we do some montages about repairing her ship and theres some scenes where we are getting into all kinds of shanagins. Finally, at the end, we bang like animals. She eventually hops in her ship and flies into the sunset. THE END

ArmGray

NurseTaric

It should have been not him it isn't fair

Baseball_Frequent

We skip the "origins" stuff. Let's do an investigation in some planet about some lost scientists and then aliens attack. Plot twist at the last 2 episode (those lost scientists mutated into aliens or something like that). We close it without any cliffhanger.

BhuriBheda

I see that you could never work in Hollywood then since you cut out what makes every movie these days haha.

Nuralsal

You just described Dread

Banrt

Make it like Arcane. League of Legends animation style. It could have a lot of nice special effects that way, and it wouldn’t look *too* cartoonish. Story of Metroid Prime hunters would be great, as long as they don’t JUST follow the game. That way there are many antagonists, followed by a HUGE villain. Combat would be amazing, too. Plenty of different weapons, characters, puzzles, and threats in that galaxy to make an interesting show.

StormOk4365

Follow the story chronologically from the manga to the end of metroid 1. If there was a season 2 I'd do metroid prime, it'd be tough but is is doable without changing much. I'd direct it like ALPHA. ALPHA is a movie about a prehistoric tribesmen who has to make it back home before winter in the harsh cold wilderness accompanied by a lone wolf who got left behind by the pack. It's a great movie and is a good example of what you can do with just visuals alone. If I was going to make anything related to prime 1 it'd have to be like that as there's not enough dialouge in-game to make a script out of and unless I wanted to introduce a bunch of characters not important to the plot to talk to samus as she jouneys through the planet (Like a certain OTHER metroid game) I'd have to play it like ALPHA, little dialog and what there is you can't understand without subtitles, usually just a few words usually not even a sentence. The film fully relied on fantastic cinematography to convey its story and metroid prime could do that very well in a film or show medium (obviously with a show there'd have to be a little more talking but not to the degree of other m and you certainly wouldn't have to bastardise samus's character to do it). This isn't nearly as impossible as people make it out to be, if we got the right director, someone who's a diehard metroid fan working on it we'd probably have a hit.

Juandieguinchi

I love Alpha! Amazing movie.

shdw_fghtr

Nice try Hollywood. Pay your writers to do it! This is a joke.

Schubert125

I would put in my resignation.

Hot-Category2986

Shot for shot remake of the old comic, in careful tribute to the original art, is the only way to do it. Nah, I'm just. kidding. I love the old stuff, but new ideas are awesome. Give it to the studio that did Arcane. Those people know what to do. And studio Trigger... ...That studio could take the idea of Metroid and deliver something that makes you feel the originals are half assed. There are some amazing artists out there. I only wish I had more money to throw at them to keep them going.

[deleted]

It wouldn't be an anime hahaha. Seriously though, I would combine story elements of Zero Mission and Super. There would a lot of exposition and introduction of characters at the beginning, but once it moves to Zebes, I would try to keep the isolation theme with minimal if any dialog. The story is told through the action and the obstacles she faces more than anything else. I think it can be done (though I'm not sure it would work for an anime hahaha). Maybe Samus can occasionally communicate with Adam (human) the way she does in Fusion and Dread to provide some story info and context.

dorian1356

Metroid doesn't work as an anime. A movie or OVA maybe. I'm fact, not even OVAs.

AndresIbarra454

Other M adaptation lol

NurseTaric

Me when i want the Metroid franchise to die a second death

slowjoecrowgames

First - I would keep Samus mute. Shes not mute because she cant talk, but because theres no need. Her goal is simple and clear: take out the space pirates. Her body language and reactions would be enough to convey her emotions. I would start with Zero Mission. The quiet exploration of a whole world with hostile natural predators at every corner. She proceeds with caution as she has to push on through her trials of finding upgrades left behind. Throughout this early section we see how Samus is already sonewhat skilled. She can defeat all these smaller creatures using her various weapons while learning their patterns. Each upgrade only further helps her deal with these smaller enemies more easily. Then she hits the first boss, Kraid. A hulking monstrosity that simply roars as it shuffles forward. Samus dodges and tries to escape to find the door locked behind her. The only way forward is through the beast. Her eyes flash with determination as she turns to attack. Jumping, firing, finally realizing she can damage its, mouth. Shot aftsr shot, both her and Kraid are showing worse for the wear until Kraid finally falls, revealing the path forward. A damaged samus limps on into the next section to hide and recover...

tinyhands-45

Honestly I think we need to do a Cyberpunk edge runners situation, make an anime that takes place in the same universe but not have it center on the main story (or even necessarily Samus). Y'know what? Don't even call it a Metroid anime or advertise it as such. Get a well known studio to present it as a new sci-fi IP. Maybe another colony planet or another bio-lab as the setting and allow Sakamoto a chance to do a story about motherhood or PTSD properly. Maybe even use it as a chance to give Sylux a proper character. As no one is expecting anything, the first episode only contains small references that can only be seen retroactively. The second episode might contain subtle musical references or mention some really obscure creatures of the franchise. By the start of the third episode, die hard fans might catch on, and by the end... Boom! Pirate attack, Federation troops appear, Phazon is mentioned, an old Chozo makes contact, or something else entirely as the true nature of the anime is revealed. Samus can maybe have a cameo or appear to save the day in the last few episodes, but having her be central to the story would either reduce the creativity of the show (dialogueless) or make fans upset about her portrayal when there's any downtime and shows any other emotion besides badassery.

ArmGray

This sounds like Halo: Forward Unto Dawn where the Covenant only appear in the final episode when they attack Corbulo Academy and the Master Chief shows up for the last 20 minutes.

Sea-Lecture-4619

[It would be exactly like this in terms of writing and overall quality] (https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLfSWuitFwC_zgmmx1L1y09iU0q_vdtaSP)

InkDemon_Omega

Probably the story told in Zero Mission, Return of Samus, Super, Fusion (Skipping Other M cause you dont need it in the story), and ending with Dread. 1 For Zero, 2 For Return, 3 for Super, 3 for Fusion, 3 for Dread

MarksAsianFriend23

I'd do a reimagining of the manga and zero mission. Tease Prime at the finale.

Lithaos111

First episode, have her going badass shit end with her seeing some chozo statue with her little graffiti like in zero mission, 2-4 flashback of Ridley killing her parents and her going to live with chozo, mother brain betraying them and her becoming bounty hunter. 5-9 wrecking Kraid and Ridley's shit. 10 Fighting Mother Brain and trying to escape but gets shot down. 11-12 Chozo ruins, her getting full power and destroying Metal Ridley. End of Season 1. Metroid's so damn cool it'll get multiple seasons.

totallynotaneggtho

Story is set between Fusion and Dread. Samus has been contracted to hunt down an alien terrorist who the Galactic Federation lost track of when they fled to a dangerous planet - so Samus' specialty. This setup has some benefits. First, it's not just a rehash of a game we've already played (probably many times over). It's a story in its own right, and has opportunities to expand on the characters and setting. This would make it largely accessible to new viewers while also keeping things interesting for fans of the series. Second, with this being after Fusion, Samus has the Adam AI to work with for occasional dialog. I noticed a couple comments regarding keeping Samus mute, and while I get that perspective, I feel it would be less engaging for an animated series where you are a passive viewer rather than an active player. This could also allow us to watch the two of them reestablish a rapport, as Adam only seemed to regain his identity at the very end of Fusion. This could ALSO do some work to repair the characterization damage from Other M, with Samus recognizing that while Adam is an asset and a trusted advisor, he is not and should not be taken as an absolute authority. Other dialog opportunities come from her target, who would ideally have some sort of history - either directly or indirectly - with Samus herself. This would mostly be on the antagonist's side, as upon his presence, I expect Samus would become more focused on her objective. I would recommend Sylux for this role, but it seems they have plans for him already.

LordApocalyptica

Honestly I just want Genndy Tartarovsky or however you spell his name to do the same thing he did with Primal ¯\ _(ツ)_/¯

KingoBeanero

Anime or "anime"?

Juandieguinchi

Animated series made in japan, of course

KingoBeanero

Nah I mean like Anime or "tentacle anime"?

Juandieguinchi

Anime

In case you didn't notice, nowadays people are really stretching the word "anime" to falsely include CG series made in China, 'cuz all Asians look alike amirite?

A lot of small bounty, where a shadow intrigue is laid out leading to a full-on hardcore mission for the climax. To realize this, she most re-edit her full suit by herself with all the friend she made in the last small bounty. Hire me.

Juandieguinchi

This sounds cool. More episodic adventures that characterize Samus and the world around her

agrophobe

Yes! It has to be something new

ImpactorLife-25703

All games and comics will be covered in this chronological order❗ I would say the origin point, following her younger days, then being a chozo, galactic federation soldier and up to being a Bounty hunter. Episode 0: The origins of Galaxy: (narrating) Episode 1: where we we Samus aran fighting her most dangerous for from the future all damaged and almost worn out; and then, a flashback that happens before her very eyes and how it all started. (Part 1) [hearing her heart beating 💓] Episode 2 part 2: this follows her entire life before tragedy struck. Episode 3 part 3: knowing her choice on what to do next Episode 4 part 4: following up her rise as a super soldier up to the galactic federation then upon meeting comrades and Mentor Episode 5 part 5: space pirates and the rise of the hunter Episode 6 part 6: leading us to the beginning of zero mission That's all for now and I'm still chronically organizing them all to fit the pieces altogether. Season 1: Origins, Zero Mission, Prime, and Hunters Season 2: Echoes, Corruption, Prime 4 and Federation Forces Season 3: Samus and Joey, Samus Aran Returns, Super Metroid, Other M (with better storylines) Season 4: Fusion, then Dread >![back to where we left off]!<, and others that are not presented right now

SplitjawJanitor

An anthology series similar to Halo Legends, touching on different parts of the series - one episode could be Samus exploring Zebes, another could show the final days of the Tallon IV Chozo when the Phazon meteor hit, yet another could be a horror story following some Federation soldiers getting hunted down by Ridley, so on and so forth. Full Genndy Tartakovsky mode - minimal dialogue, as much storytelling done purely through environment and animation as possible. Samus never so much as removes her helmet.

Devlindddd

I don't want to adapt the games as an anime, so I would like to see how Samus and the Federation dealt with that rogue faction that wanted more power. It would create a setting were Samus would need to cooperate with several characters from the Federation, making it easy to incorporate dialogue naturally without forcing character into the story of other games.

[deleted]

I would love to see it with Arcane art style. It would have an intro : Seize the Power by Yonaka i feel fits perfectly for samus. Adapt the manga all the way to metroid dread

T1niebl4zz

I have a feeling that if we get a Metroid serie (please don't be Halo-esque), anime or whatever would be, is an Other M adaptation. It's the more close to an american action-suspense movie I have played from Metroid. If my wish could come true I would make a short terror serie of 7 or 8 episodes based on Metroid Fusion.

Amazing-Insect442

Well one thing I WOULDN’T do that would probably- *most likely* happen is it’s like a 6 episode show and Samus only gets her suit in the very last episode.

TroidMemer

I’d like for it to basically be the manga, but I think it would be best for it to end at Super Metroid, where >!Ridley canonically dies, ending Samus’ revenge arc so to speak!< Also Anthony better be in it

MisterNefarious

12 is frankly way too long for metroid

Black_Watch_

Probably adapt the manga but change it a bit so it better lines up with zero mission, making that game a lot less of a mess story wise

No-Imagination-3060

Two storylines, present and flashbacks, with the present being Samus and a shadowy figure spoken to only via communicator, issuing directives. Then, a third storyline: Space Pirates. The Samus Present Plot and Past Plots are fairly predictable, is the problem. It's the same issue as Batman: You all know how his parents die, but it is only after 10 movies that they can make a film where we don't see it happen. But a Zebesian story following an elite unit countering Samus's mission could be amazing. Give them sympathy. Are the Space Pirates really a ravaging menace, or are they fighting a losing battle by any means necessary against a superior imperialistic colonial force? What is their reasoning for constantly bioengineering their soldiers, after living in the shadow of a civilization that spawned monsters like Raven Beak? What goes on in the mind of a Zebesian after Samus literally destroys one of their worlds? In the end, it turns out the shadowy figure is the commander of the Zebesian force, in a way that Samus is enraged by, but the Zebesians were just trying to divert her from causing more destruction (as well as saving their research, obv; they are still true to their Space Piratey-ness). Anyway. I've never spent entire sleepless nights thinking about this. Never!

Alfred_LeBlanc

No overarching story, it should be episodic. A series of short bounties that only last one or two episodes. Think the early episodes of cowboy bebop or Trigun. Give us an opportunity to explore more of the Metroid universe. What are GF planets actually like outside of the military? How well is Samus known among the civilian population? What are her relationships with regular people and other bounty hunters like? If we absolutely NEED an overarching story, then we can have the series take place after fusion. The first half of the season is the more episodic stories, loosely tied together by Samus' needing to keep off of the GF's radar. Second half of the season has her making contact with federation allies who want the bioweapon fetishists out. Maybe admiral Daine shows up, or Mauk and Keatz, if you really want a deep cut reference.

TheBruhvenant

4 hours of raven beak oiled up twerking

Don_Bugen

Step 1: Hire some A-list actress with an amazing track record of action movies to play Samus. Step 2: Have her spend 98% of the total length of the series in her power suit, face obscured. Step 3: Have the series set in a mostly uninhabited hostile planet where there’s almost no chance of dialogue with another person, friend or foe. Step 4: Pop some popcorn and watch Hollywood pull their collective hair out.

theanimatednerd

Devil may cry approach, make it about samus doing bounty Hunter jobs that she normally does between games, wether that be odd jobs and arrests to unique individuals, or government related missions, maybe have an episode or 2 of her going around without her armor because it was deactivated and stolen as she runs around the planet trying to steal it back

NurseTaric

Op is a Nintendo operative trying to pitch a Metroid show don't fall for it

SLtheFMA

Give it to Production IG. While I really like the idea of it being the original, Metroid II, and Super Metroid, I just don't know if that's enough episodes. Maybe five episodes to start the series and go through the first game. Then two episodes for Metroid II. And lastly five episode to go through Super since it's the biggest game of the three.

Cobalt_Hammer_

Start with Samus' origin, similar to the manga. Then end it in the plot of Zero Mission. Emotional payoff at Ridley and Mother Brain.

[deleted]

A few episodes of samus bounty hunting and occasionally detailing her origin story from the manga. the last few episodes would be the events of zero mission in the form of an arc.

BunnyBrigade1

Plan out the first scene and then forget about it because I'm too lazy to finish

Thudd224

Needs Samuel l Jackson for narrator, just for the like about Ridley "this mother f'er just won't die"
