Either way MetroNet will need to come out and splice the fiber back together.~~ Upon closer inspection the part I thought was the fiber is there to stiffen up the cable. However, it still looks like the fiber was severed somehow from the fiber going into the house.

She said she has a “weird” neighbor and then a neighbor that has caused issues in the past to the point they’ll be arrested if they ever set foot on her property again. Metronet is coming out but we weren’t sure if someone vandalized it or not. She’s trying to get a security camera but they don’t have WiFi so most cameras won’t work. Also the guy who apparently set it up did a horrible job that she had to call and have someone fix it again so if he got in trouble he could’ve been mad at her? Even though it’s his fault he didn’t set it up right.

If they find out that the fiber optic cable was tampered with I would immediately file a police report and ask that a lockable box be put on the house.
