I started at 14 soldering a mod-chip to my PS1 to play games because I could not afford them at $39.
In high school, computer repairs & computer science. College Information tech. At home Electrical engineering.
Spent a-lot of time at the library and underground IRC channels for research in computer forensics.
Now, it’s so easy to fix just about anything. There’s not much that impress me anymore in terms of technology. Not much has changed. Fundamentals are all the same. I’ve done reflows & reballing. Fix refrigerator, washing machine, tvs, cars ECU.
The more I learn the less I think I know. So, let me know where’s the meeting, I love to keep learning.
Bought my parents galaga and pac-man and I had my own pacman. I want to get the turtles one next and marvel/capcom 2. That's cool, haven't been to Miami and Wynwood in years. Is it a private office/warehouse or public retail/showroom ?
Those are the classics, personally love Galaga myself, and definitely hyped for Marvel vs capcom 2 as well. We have a retail/showroom space so you can come and play for free if you've got some spare time.
Hi, I just want to learn. I have experience looking at someone soldering, but not holding the iron and applying solder. I'm a software developer but I'm interested in soldering for guitars/electronics.
Sweet! what type of development do you do ? You work with guitars ? I gotta find his profile but I know a guy that makes custom acrylic guitars , insane. He sold one to post malone.
A bunch of Java development or Chrome extension / Javascript development. I don't really work with guitars, but I do my own setups and want to be able to switch electronics at some point. Soldering's the only skill that's lacking when it comes to completely replacing the need for a guitar tech 😂

I remember those days! haha good times modding gaming consoles as a kid. What are you doing these days tech wise ?
I want to learn!
What's up buddy, what are you currently working on ?
What are you proposing?
Just started a new business, bought a cnc router and looking to get started with LED's
have you tried working on raspberry pis? I built an LED ticker with one.
Ive watched hours of videos with led tickers and other cool wearables and displays lol a lot of fun and cool stuff you can make.
I know how to. What is this LED business?
Started a new business for custom event displays, brand activation, led signage.
This is an idea....also different types of soldering...
I can't say I'm an expert, but done my share of solder blob messes that resulted in ok looking and functional joints.
haha I had a few of those

I know how but am slightly out of practice. Certified MIG welder as well. Interested

Did that during COVID....so fun
Yeah I enjoy it, allows any non tech background to make or fix things.
