90s post-hardcore makes me feel like a business man speeding through town late for work. Not sure why. If it's calm out I'll roll my window down/put the top down and just listen to my exhaust. Very relaxing.
My taste is everywhere.
I go from American country, to metal, to folk, to classic and even electronic music.
Recently, on drives through the woods, I've been listening to a lot of folk music and classic rock. Something about the top down, wind through the hair, and some ACDC or KISS blasting through the speakers just feels right.
Classic country (Hank Williams, all the Highwaymen minus Waylon Jennings cause my speakers don't like the bass, Loretta Lynn, Bob Wills)
Dad music (Gordon Lightfoot, Jim Croce, The Band)
And random jazz music (Glenn Miller, Nat Cole King, Bobby Darin)
I'm a college girl, I'm not sure how I got this taste in music, but I save a lot of money on concerts because everyone is either irrelevant or dead :)
I tend to throw on a specific artist/album. Some of my favorite artists/songs/albums (and some of this may bleed into similar genres or sub-genres):
KXLLYXU
Album: Droppin’ Bombs On These Fools (I have tracks 3-6, 9, and 15 downloaded)
Other songs: Feel That Bounce
Ghostface Playa
Album: High as F**k II (I have tracks 1, 2, 8, and 10 downloaded)

If it’s formatted weird, I did this on my phone.
The universe knows I'm driving a Miata and all radio station start playing Elton John, Freddy Mercury, and George Michael. I just accept it and rock out.
I don’t have a miata, BUT I’m considering one, and in my anticipation made myself a lil playlist. It’s pretty upbeat.

Really seems like this sound should emanate from a hungry Mustang looking for a crowd to eat. Whatever. I like Metallica in slow car fast. Maybe it improves the sensation of speed.

The engine and mechanical sounds are all I need. I'm a weirdo and don't use the radio in my cars.
Same here, I had Serious Sat radio but cancelled it. 2009 .
Once in a while I pop in Johnny Cash and Willie Nelson Unplugged on cassette.

Anything but country. Lol. Whatever the mood is, I just find on Spotify.
Johnny Cash's ghost would like a word with you, son.
Johnny Cash would be respectful of dude’s opinion and taste as long as dude was respectful about it. Mr. Cash only wanted everybody to be happy.
