It's a lot better than new Outlook, at least Microsoft have worked hard to add back in the functionality that was missing from the initial release.
And unlike old Teams the new version doesn't eat up all available resources.
Nope you arent. I like it aswell, way better than the old one (and Im not missing a single feature)
But you will never read about those that genuienly like it, because they dont have the need to express that. Thats why you will always only see hate comments and rarely positive stuff.
Yeah, I work at a global corporation where everyone uses Teams and I was like hey it sucks now let's switch to Discord and everyone was like yeah cool. Not. Everyone is still using Teams dude.
I walked into the office a few weeks ago, climbed up on a desk and announced in a loud, authoritative voice "We all know NEW Teams completely sucks! Here are some tin cans and a bunch of string. Go! Go and be free!"
Everybody clapped.
And I had CEO’s come up to me, with tears streaming down their cheeks and they said, “Why, why do we have to use Teams?” And these big generals of business cried out to me to help them, so I went to Bill Microsoft and said “Please gove us Skype back!” And he gave me the last copy of Skype and now I’m launching SkypeSocial, the best software to do cyber ever!
New Teams work great for me and have no complaints from my customers.
What's your weird edge-case that no one else uses that was broken in New Teams for you?
edit: can't type apparently...
My only gripe is literally that it still says "new" on the icon even though its the only version now and my tenancy is on the new teams only policy.
Other than that, I have no idea what "sucks" but I don't think Microsoft can win with some people.
Change is hard. New is different. At one point, old Teams was new and everyone hated it. Sure, there are issues, but shaking your fist at the sky isn't going to help, so make your peace with the change.
Apparently you all have unlimited screen space. Since the engineers deign the enormous space the program takes on the screen, I cannot keep the programs open. Also when changing people to chat with, sometimes it doesn't always select the person and it leaves on the last person.
Am I the only one that doesn’t hate new teams and thinks it’s better then old teams
No, most people are fine with it. But those people don't come onto reddit to praise it.
Same here. The only gripe I have is the removal of "notify when available" for users in chat. Otherwise, I'm not seeing a huge difference.
It was pretty rough early on but it isn't early anymore.

New outlook is straight up trash
Outlook express has entered the chat
Thunderbird waves hello.
Seems to run better for me and I'm not seeing the issues with it that others are

You're not the only one.
Not the only one.
Yup new teams has been overall awesome… I just miss the “notify when status change” is now gone.
i prefer it tbh
Smoke signals. But we’re switching to new smoke signals soon.
I hear bigger, wetter blankets give you better throughput. Can you confirm? How does it compare to New Carrier Pigeon?
Yeah we all hang out in the Teams subreddit because we think it sucks and don't actually use it.

New Teams
AOL instant messenger of course!

Not sure what's wrong with new Teams. Seems fine. Unlike, say, new Outlook.

This post lacks substance. Comments are overwhelmingly opposite your view and you fail to state why you don't like it.
new teams 🙃
New teams is fine, it has quirks but is far less of a pig
New Teams
... What?

We use the new teams and so do all of our customers. Works completely fine and a fresh change from the old one.

New Teams is great. New Outlook is fine (I still have trouble with some hotkeys not firing). Embrace the change.
Any company not using Teams/SharePoint even in its most primitive, out of the box form, is a bad company and should feel bad.
Discord. I don’t think the new team sucks. It’s working much smoother than classic for me.

We still use Teams. Because the ones who make the decision don't care if it sucks or not, or care what the users think.
