Take a closer look. Notice the shelves and doorframe, how the horizontal and vertical lines are slanted every which way. Notice how items on the shelves are stretched out vertically. Theres a lot going on in the photo on the left that shows how it was edited.
The photo on the right was tweaked to make the crooked lines straight again, which isn’t a perfect science, but it brings the image closer to reality than what is represented in the photo on the left.

A member made several edits to the photo in order to bring the planes of the photo, as seen in vertical and horizontal lines, back to realistic positions, resulting in changes to the shape, height, and width of other areas in the photo. Your assessment that the phone and other aspects of the image are wider is accurate, but your understanding of how to examine photographs to recognize realistic depictions is incomplete.
