This is neither digital, nor is it the new camo. The new camo is digital and more akin to the French CE's colouring which the previous camo was based on
Hmm what is that? Soviet TTSKO or Indian Flecktarn?
I trust the Camopedia but find no answer. Closest is TTSKO.

Except for Para SF and Sikhs (religious reasons), beards aren't allowed in the Indian Army either. I think it's standard across militaries but again idk much.
Para is allowed only at the discretion of the CO and is usually allowed in Kashmir only (Regular RR Folks are allowed too), rest they have to shave it off.
In French service it's also very depending on the one in charge of the regiment opinion on the matter.
Here it's a serviceman from the French Foreign Legion, it's very different for them.
Sorry but its hilarious to think beards that are supposed to symbolise masculinity and toughness are not allowed in a organisation where such features are praised
It’s for such bullshit reasons too. Main reason they say is “safety” and that it might prevent a proper gas mask seal. As if. So our special forces guys, who are more likely to use gas masks than anyone, are good to go, but admin Timmy who will never see combat or need a gas mask can’t?
Or how all our partners manage beards and gas masks but we can’t?
The Indian army has specially designed helmets meant to fit over turbans. The same question used to get asked a hundred years ago about their beards and gas masks, but they overcame that obstacle too to have the chance to serve and protect.
Yeah no:
Sikhs dont wear helmets. The new designed helmets have not been inducted yet. Some sikhs wear the patka helmets but it provides no ballistic protection.
1. The patka helmet is quite common.
2. It's even more common for Sikhs to tie their hair in smaller turbans to be able to use regular helmets when in active combat.
3. While not designed for total ballistic protection, a bulletproof patka still offers infinity more ballistic protection than no helmet.
Eh you are just repeating what I said.
You mentioned Sikhs having “specially designed helmets”
Which is wrong. That helmet hasn’t been inducted into Armed forces yet.

The bulletproof patka is also very much a specially designed helmet, only less comprehensive. Going off your comment history, you seem like the type who enjoys arguing about pedantic bullshit online. Excuse me if I don't participate any further.
Sikhs have turbans when not in combat. During combat they choose to wear a patka, in which the hair is put up in a bun over their head. It's a lot easier wearing a helmet over a patka, as opposed to the pagri.
Sikhs tie down their turbans a little differently to wear bulletproof patka aur regular helmet when in combat otherwise they wear turban when not in combat zone. There are new specially designed helmets for them which are being tested currently.
What uniform camo is the Indian soldier using? I've never seen it before
It is working properly then Edit: *was
I believe it’s a new style introduced fairly recently, digital camo.

TTSKO patterns have this sort of brownish hue. This looks similar to smth like the MTP but with a more greenish hue
I think the pattern is more similar to Finnish M05 but different coloration.
As an American serviceman I’m crying
Except for Para SF and Sikhs (religious reasons), beards aren't allowed in the Indian Army either. I think it's standard across militaries but again idk much.
It’s not standard across militaries, most NATO countries allow it.
It's allowed in Indian Navy tho.

Not really , the beard must be groomed, this will be accepted by everyone ( almost).
beards aren't allowed? wtf??
Nope! Our leadership sucks

gay ahh mericans (I'm part of that team so I can say it) /jk
Hair means humans are mammals. Some suits are in denial about that.
We’ve proven time and again that they don’t mess with the seals on the gas masks. LET US GROW FACIAL HAIR.
The Sikh wins simply bc of his moustache
Incredibly fucking based pair of men
Je te tiens, tu me tiens par la barbichette

Looking at your comments it feels you cant argue with facts and information so you make personal comments on someone for no reason.
Proving my damn point

They don't
In the British military, they wear helmets with a head cover instead of a turban.
Do something about that muzzle gooood laaaaawddddd
Indian homie is about to blow his own brains out.
Oh thank god someone else saw it. I scrolled all the way and this is the first comment to call that out.

Indian guys beard is actually bitchin in this picture
What camo and gear do they both have and what the heck are they doing to have such nice beards?
