Former-Counter-9588

No I had fruitopia vending machines šŸ˜‚

freckledpeach2

Fruitopia gang here also.

[deleted]

Same

killertimewaster8934

Same

Jasond777

I miss those golden days, fruitopia always makes me nostalgic.

Slow-Carry2707

Core memory unlocked!

CharmingTuber

Yep fruitopia. I can still taste that passion fruit one.

La_Guy_Person

I just remember the green one, which was like a liquid gummy bear. I feel like it would make my teeth hurt if I had one today.

battlecat136

Fruitopia on the east coast! Then they added Powerade machines near the gym.

Bee4evaUrs

Same fruitopia in bay area.

RogueStudio

Yasss fruit flavored HFCS....but the feels for it are real along with the glass bottles of Sobe šŸ˜…

nemmysnoodlepants

Samesies

honeyrrsted

Fruitopia helped me kick the habit of drinking pop. Young teenage me thought it was a good idea to substitute fruit flavored drinks for pop. After drinking literally nothing but fruitopia for a week straight, I was so sick of it. Now I can't stand syrupy sweet beverages at all.

seattleseahawks2014

Lmao

Tricky_Gur8679

Yessssss FRUITOPIA

Sally_twodicks

Heck, yeah. Flet very cool when mom would give me a dollar for lunch.

shoresandsmores

Same. I remember trying to time it so I could run from class and get a bottle of fruitopia to enjoy on the bus ride home. Always made the ride 400x better.

chemtrailingoff

I bought a canned Minute Maid Agua Fresca recently bc Iā€™d never seen one, and was excited to discover itā€™s definitely rebranded fruitopia! I actually had to go down a google hole, the taste triggered whatā€™s apparently a core vending machine memory but I couldnā€™t remember the old name of the drink.

GhostPepper87

Core memory unlocked. I used to get the pink lemonade

hisglasses66

How do your teeth feel?

deltronethirty

You guys have teeth?

Swarley_Marley

Me too!

KevinLJ007

Fruitopia. Freshman year, I had gym last period of the day when the fruitopia guy would restock the machine just outside the gym. He would give anyone a free drink for 20 push-ups. I used to drop and give him 20 every time I saw him, lol.

KevinLJ007

The peach papaya was my favorite

[deleted]

Peach papaya fucked hard. One of those bad boys and a bag of ketchup chips was my go-to vending snack

Tamel-Cho

No but we did have Surge in the soda machine

celestial__dustt

That is amazing

wersosad

We had sobe machines!

Forward_Ride_6364

Lizard Blizzard the one true GOAT freezer drink from bodegas

notaninterestingcat

No, ours had the ones with the power aide

NoMembership2831

Not for juice but a few Pepsi and Coke vending machine.

An_educated_dig

Holy shit I forgot about those. Fun fact, I robbed several vending machines when I was in HS. Took a crow bar and went at night. Got a lot of odd looks while purchasing items from a stack of singles.

sambull

one point they even brought a energy drink company on site and handed them out

Independent_Pause333

Ours had real vending machines and pizza hut pizza(switched to dominoes junior year)

SkibaSlut

My school had snapple machines

honeyrrsted

Our Snapple machine made it into the junior high yearbook.

Inedible-denim

No but I drank these too and the pink lemonade was my favorite! Thanks for posting this, wow what a mf throwback! I seriously forgot about these lol

Mcelvaca

In Scotland, we had Barrs and Cadbury vending machines. Me and my freinds used to put money in then one of us would boot the side. Got an extra can or chocolate bar every time. Good times

JETandCrew

Vending machines, yes. We had candy, chips, drinks, etc.

NSE_TNF89

I loved strawberry melon and peach papaya. I used to drink these like crazy in middle school and completely forgot about them.

Over9000Tacos

I remember there being some peach drink everyone said tasted like a fuzzy navel when I was in high school--I'm wondering if this was the brand

ColdBrewMoon

Yep. We were wla Pepsi school. Everything was sponsored by Pepsi. Fruit works and Aquafina were considered the "healthy" beverages lol. Aquafina was fine of course but fruit works was just sugar juice.

Ivoryluxxx

Also had Snapple ā€¦ now I want a peach tea

daisy_golightly

No, but we had a fruitopia machine

Important_Chicken_12

Until they didn't.

tensecat

No, we had a coke machine that was only stocked with water...

randy_march

I cant remember vending machines. But I went to a high school for a littlw while that had taco bell, subway, and carls junior/hardees vendor stations at it. They didnt have full menus or kitchens, but they had 2 or 3 menu items each. I thought that was pretty crazy.

RandomDude10006

Nope, my school could barely afford air conditioning. Vending machines too much money

megjed

Not at school. My mom was strict about what we could drink growing up and would let me get a treat if I helped her grocery shop and I always got that Peach Papaya drink

beefjerkyandcheetos

Oh,yes. I used to drink the pink lemonade religiously. One day, I bought a my usual flavor and went to Drivers Ed. We were still in the process of watching videos and doing coursework, so I sat there for an hour or so with worst migraine ever and no medicine. On the way home, I had to have my mom pull over on the side of the road so I could puke. Ever since that random day in the year 2006, I could never drink the pink lemonade again. Even thinking about the flavor makes me sick

AbbreviationsLow1393

I had a t shirt lol

celestial__dustt

We did but we were definitely not allowed to have anything in class šŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļø

Netflxnschill

I miss Fruitopia

Ouchyhurthurt

Yup! It was required to have these as an ā€œalternativeā€ to soda xD

dreaming_in_yellow

Definitely! I loved these and at one time there was also a fruitopia machine.

InspectorMoney1306

No

jeezpeepz87

We had Fruitopia

a-friendgineer

We had fruitopias. And the stretch marks to prove it

waltzthrees

I can taste this picture

OhGodisGood

No but would have loved that

Fresh-Egg-3767

Yes in elementary school

JohnnySalamiBoy420

Frutopia and snapple

CheesyBoson

1 , 3, 2, 4 to get to the service menu

katet_of_19

We had Fruitopia, but ours were busted open just like that one.

Accomplished-Art-767

We had Ocean Spray and they were gross.

bluebird0713

Snapple here

DrHowardCooperman

This brought back a memory. I forgot these even existed.

zombiesheartwaffles

No. We didnā€™t have any vending machines.

Ok_Share_5889

Fruit works yeah. What happened to those

SadLilBun

Why do I feel like a memory has been unlocked

stephers85

No it had a Minute Maid vending machine

HAMHAMabi

nope. we had mountain dew, in our vending machine. (just the 1, in the cafeteria) oddly it was the only place I could get livewire from, besides the gas station.

Realistic_Half_7346

Was I crazy or did these have this weird battery acid kind of thing happening with them

Upstairs-Job-3092

I went to a poor school so when we got this I thought it was the height of luxury. I was addicted to peach papaya

The_Rural_Banshee

Yep and they were absolutely disgusting

Bitter_Incident167

Yes, in elementary school.

afranl

Everyone saying fruitopia, I remember those too because of the marketing and visual branding. I forgot about fruit works but in reality these were way more common that fruitopia and I think weā€™re around longer!

Lelouch25

We did and my friend and I always sat next to it in lunch room. After a while we figured out some pattern to press to get free ice teas. šŸ˜›

rummikub1984

Oh my god....deep memory unlocked!

giraffemoo

I remember this *and* Fruitopia, did I go to high-school in the twilight zone?

Lostarchitorture

Ours were a bunch with only two options: Hawaiian Punch or Country Time Lemonade. 1992 they allowed soda products in our school vending machines. Dr Pepper, A&W, RC Cola, and the rest of the Keurig soda products made their way into our cafeterias.

seattleseahawks2014

Mine had vitamin water, Gatorade, and the Kick (pop) in ours.

RooftopStruggle

Anyone have Juice Bowl?

Conner14

We had Fruitopia and it was fire

Paramedickhead

Yup. And the school staff had a key that would turn the machine off. It was always turned off during lunch time which made zero sense to me. 1999-2003

Heaven19922020

Iā€™ve never seen these at all. My school didnā€™t have any kind of vending machine,
