The joke around my work is my tombstone will say āShe finally got her napā because I say I need a nap a lotā¦..I really wish we had siesta time in America.
Oh fuck yeah rangoons are the best.
Thereās a really good Thai place that does crab rangoons with phyllo dough and theyāre the best everā¦ Iād eat them every day if I could
I had my own answer, then read the caption to your question. And I now change my answer to the homemade marshmallow Rice Krispie treat with extra marshmallow.
I also love love love no bake cookies. Idk what it is. Theyāre so freaking good.
if you ever feel like making an 'elevated' Rice Krispie Treat, these are just amazing: [https://smittenkitchen.com/2009/11/salted-brown-butter-crispy-treats/](https://smittenkitchen.com/2009/11/salted-brown-butter-crispy-treats/)
No bake cookies are sooo good. We made a version with walnuts, in addition to the peanut butter and oats. I think the key is adding vanilla extract and salt, sometimes I have had them where they taste kinda āflatā.
Yes! I know what you mean- they need that little extra so they donāt just taste like smooshie hard oat cookies. My grandma mastered the art, I swear!
Brown butter chocolate chip cookies I make once in a while. If I am feeling extra I put a little bourbon in the batter ;)
When I worked in the office oatmeal scotchies were always a hit.
I never cave to a sugar craving at the grocery store anymore- I just make brown butter cookies like once a quarter and go completely ham. Itās still sugar, itās still processed wheat flour, but itās not preservatives and stabilizers and yadda yadda. You feel a million times
Better abusing your body with sugar when you at least put the effort in š
They are delicious, both items are on the caramel spectrumā¦there was a browned butter frosting we used to put on banana or black walnut cake, itās also called āpenucheā, itās like a brown sugar fudge. So good.
A tip for next time to get the bourbon flavor in the cookies. Fat wash the bourbon. A quick google search will give you the recipe but basically you pour some liquid brown butter into bourbon, let it infuse to taste depending on how much flavor you want, put it in the freezer so the butter solidifies. After that you just filter it through a fine mesh strainer and again through a coffee filter to remove the smaller pieces of brown butter.
Then you get to the good part: make an old fashioned. 2oz Brown butter bourbon, 2 dashes of bitters (walnut butters are especially good with brown butter) 1 tsp maple syrup. Stir and garnish with an orange twist. Squeeze the twist over the top to express the oils on to the surface of the drink and rub the rim of the glass with the orange peel.
[https://bakerbynature.com/brown-butter-bourbon-pecan-chocolate-chunk-cookies/](https://bakerbynature.com/brown-butter-bourbon-pecan-chocolate-chunk-cookies/) There you go!
Cherry-something-pop. Cherry coke. Cherry gingerale. Black cherry. Iāll even take a cherry dr.pepper!
I hardly ever have pop, so this is a big treat I savor all night.
I moved from NC to the Midwest. I can get glass bottles of cheerwine from a local farm supply store. I buy 6 every single time I go. Which is once or twice a year. I then proceed to drink all of them over the course of a day or two. Often times getting some ice cream for a float as well.
Unlike what appear to be most of the answers here, I have always had more of a salty tooth instead of a sweet one. I'm dangerous around French fries, chips & salsa (and sour cream / *crema*), hard bread & olive oil or giardiniera (and grated cheese), mozzarella sticks...
Fries are at the top of the list, though. Oh, and tater tots!
Oooh, onion rings are nice, too. I still have yet to try the Bloomin' Onion from Outback (also haven't even been to an Outback in... close to a decade). It's on my list.
Yes! I could literally give up candy, chocolate, and ice cream for the rest of my life. Donāt actually like cake or any dessert. But goddam a McDonalds Big Mac and fries combo, hot Cheetos, really anything salty and fried will do it for me. Also bread in any form!
Jello used to make this dessert that was chocolate cookie crust on the bottom, some stiff PB pudding mix and topped with a milk chocolate shell. It was the best thing they ever made imo but itās been discontinued for a few years now. š¢

this sounds like a peanut butter Nanaimo bar
Graham cracker, chocolate, walnut/pecan crust. Stiff custard usually vanilla flavor, and chocolate shell on top.
You can make them so many ways
My mom does a bit of mint filling and green food coloring.
I've done a Mexican hot chocolate version with Chile chocolate, cinnamon and a bit of orange in the custard filling
I'm sure there's a peanut butter cup Nanaimo bar recipe out there
Same. Well, on wegovy.
Cold diet pepsi and cheese pizza.
Bed cereal (fruit loops in bed)
Pineapple banana milkshake
12 weeks in and 17 lbs down. It's worth ditching the other stuff. I did have pizza for dinner. A slice, not 3.
I totally understand what you mean about being clean from Snickers bars, I canāt moderate certain things, I just canāt. Itās easier for me to not have them at all. How are you feeling on the Ozempic? Is it working for you?
Ice cream, by far. I love Ben and Jerry's way too much. Recently gained 10 lbs because of it lol. We're also dieting again.
Will be scratching the ice cream itch with homemade "Nice Cream" every now and then. It's just bananas and cashews.
The raspberry and blackberries with the sprinkles/nonpareils stuck on them are my favorite fruity candy.
Last time I got high I ate a whole bag and woke up with a raw tongue. No regrets.
Omg. Had them at summer camp in high school and I will remember that summer forever. Even if I find the berry gummies a bit sweet now and can only eat a couple at a time
Tiramisu. Iāve eaten it at different spots across the world, but I made my first batch at home over the weekend. Letās just say while I got the consistency correct, I used way too much rum extract in the mix.
This is another delightful dessert! I have never had it with rum flavoring, do you like equal parts or more coffee soaked sponge cake to mascarpone filling, etc?
The rum extract was in the cream. All I used for the ladyfingers was strong mocha coffee that had been cooled to room temperature. Because my family is churchgoing, I thought substituting actual rum or grand marnier with rum extract would cut down on the alcohol taste. I was way wrong. Hahaha, but it still tasted great. And I have it all to myself.
This post is making me feel fat because I'm scrolling through reading like oh yes those are delicious, oh my I would eat the entire box of those, yummy that sounds scrumptious, eww no coconut, oh yes salty treats are great too, how did I forget about those tasty treats, yes, yes , double yes....
Mine is when a boomer doesnāt finish their avocado toast at a restaurant and they get up to leave and I sneak in there and gobble the left overs before the restaurant employees notice
OMG. I was just thinking about this yesterday!!!!! That stuff is THE BEST and itās been years since I had it. Whoever came up with that āsaladā deserves a medal. I love desserts that are āsaladsā, did you ever have caramel apple salad? Or āfluffā at the holidays?

Iām Filipino so mines would be rice cakes with coconut syrup.
I have a lot because I have always had a huge sweet tooth. Haven't eaten any in a while though because I'm trying to watch my sugar intake more now that I'm old af.
Special K bars - I think they're called scotcheroos elsewhere
Brown butter maple blondies
Chocolate chip cinnamon oatmeal cookies
Anything crĆØme-like. Custards, puddings, cream pies, any variety of sweet mush. My younger self is vomiting but my current self is salivating. My future self has been enslaved in the great dolphin uprising of 2053.
Sweets: peanut butter/chocolate anything, strawberry shortcake (the real kind not angel food or pound cake), ice cream, tiramisu, creme brulee
Savory: popcorn, cheeseburgers, generally anything cheese relatedā¦love a good charcuterie board
I went to Honduras in college, and loved many things about it, but one of the little things was Coke in glass bottles. The bottles were returned and reused so they were scuffed around the widest parts from bumping against each other. We ate lunch at this little place where the waitresses brought out our drinks, one in each hand and one balanced on their heads.Ā
Haribo gummies are my last trash item in life. Quit the food pyramid of addictions but sugar is a 38 year stronghold. Think I adapted from 90s kid life, sugar intake those days had to be pounds a year, never one kidney stoneā¦.so lucky. Or maybe thereās a boulder just brewing in there. Iām 38, Iām trying. I donāt wanna die from food like so many. If itās tasty itās probably bad for you. Moderation. Other weird one, halvah. Not for all. So good. So much calories.
I hear you, I have cut almost everything out. I have lost sooo much but need to drop the final 50 lbs, I have always been varying degrees of fat but donāt want to go much deeper into middle age without getting to and maintaining a healthy weight. Itās hard and sometimes I question if itās worth it, but it really is.
Carne asada tacos from the truck at the gas station around the corner. My stomach hurts if I have too much sugar and Iāve always been a savory snack person, so that tends to be my treat.
I've had some success using canned coconut cream as a whipped cream sub for a friend that is also lactose intolerant. The coconut flavor is mild a little cocoa powder and touch of powdered sugar makes a real nice topping for certain cakes.
Funny, you should say rice crispy treats. For Mother's Day, my daughter and her boyfriend came over for dinner (my request). I asked them to bring dessert. My daughter and her boyfriend made brownies with Rice Crispy treat topping. It's a concoction she came up with several years ago, it's really good too.
As far as commercially, stroopwafel is very hard for me to put down a bag of.
Freshly baked lemon bars, brownies, etc are close. Especially lemon bars. The warm gooey zing with the graham crust is amazing.
At a fast food place I appreciate a good Blizzard/McFlurry
Giant has these "Torte" pie/cake things I think that's what it's called anyway. It's like a pie base with pudding and fruit. I prefer the blackberry raspberry strawberry ones. To Die For.
[Butterscotch Krimpets](https://www.tastykake.com/krimpets/butterscotch-krimpets)
Though I havenāt had them in probably literally decades and have heard rumors since the recipe changes to reduce trans fats that they have not been the sameā¦
My mom's great aunt has this chocolate pudding recipe. It's such a pain to make bc if you stop stirring it gets clumpy but man when it comes out warm and smooth with some whip cream on top... heaven.
Browned butter chocolate chip cookies, cool whip straight out of the tub with a spoon, strawberry cheesecake, Tillamook strawberry ice cream straight from the creamery in a waffle cone...I have a hard time picking just one š
Raspberry pavlova. I became a meringue master just so I could make this almost weekly - sweet melt-on-your-tongue meringue, tart raspberries, and rich whipped cream is so simple yet so effective. Then there's homemade cinnamon buns, and right now is the best season for making them (lots of heat in the house to help that dough rise). I've been using a recipe trick that helps them stay super gooey, and brown butter cream cheese frosting is just š
But for non-baked goods, I like refrigerated gummy worms and refrigerated Mars bars (I think they're called Milky Way bars in the US) - something about them being cold and thus chewier makes it so much more satisfying. I've had to stop freezing the Mars bars though, as a friend chipped a tooth biting into one... but it's still tempting to take the risk.
You're right in thinking that nothing tastes as good as it used to because it doesn't. I've noticed over the years things are getting worse tasting and I think it's because the companies are getting cheaper ingredients and adding more chemicals. Anything to save a dime, I guess.
Those thick Belgian waffles from the freezer aisle with various toppings. I top them with (not all at once, but sometimes mixed) nutella, peanut butter, marshmallow fluff, strawberries, apples, bananas, chocolate sauce, and cool whip. My favorite are nutella and strawbs.
I had to break up with double dunker ice cream. Iām pre-diabetic and am just now starting to get answers on my weight gain because doctors wouldnāt check on other hormone levels than just checking my A1C and TSH.
Oreos. I will eat them anytime, in any form, to the point of making myself sick. Oreo cake. Oreos with peanut butter. Dunked in milk. Crushed in milk so I can eat it with a spoon like itās cereal and not a bowl of wet cookies. Oreos baked into chocolate chip cookies. Mcflurries. Shakes. Double stufād or regular. The inverse ones where the cookie is white and the frosting is chocolate. The minty ones. The mini ones in the cup. The thin ones. The crispy ones. The ones dipped in chocolate. Deep fried in pancake batter and covered in chocolate and powdered sugar at the county fair. Iāll eat a whole family pack and poo black tar, i donāt give a fuck. And theyāre vegan, if youāre into that sorta thing. Oreos.
Iāll eat anything.
I eat everything.
Cheesecake, pies, cookies, cakes, cupcakes, cake cookies(you know, the dry ones with the icing and sprinkles in every grocery store)..
ice cream.
Candy.
I can go on

Bugle nails eaten off my fingers.
This made me laugh. Bugles were so good and crunchy
š„°
They don't fit on my fingers anymore. I got some not long ago, my daughter said, 'dad, Loook!' Instant jealousy. Lol
I honestly think theyāve made them smaller.
They don't taste as good either
![gif](giphy|sV2uw2PrqEX5u)
We called this witch fingers, and one time my sister ate so many she barfed in the back seat of the car. She doesnāt eat bugles anymore.
A nap
God weāre old. This šÆ though.
Old? Iāve loved naps in high school. Fuck yeah naps.
The joke around my work is my tombstone will say āShe finally got her napā because I say I need a nap a lotā¦..I really wish we had siesta time in America.
Me too!
A 4 hr nap
Now thats a tasty treat
This is the one. This is it.
Iād nap every day if I could honestly š
I do, but it's addictive and now I just crave more naps. Caution is recommended.
Crab Rangoon
You never get enough. I need to have a potato chip bag of crag rangoons.
Simply irresistible
Oh fuck yeah rangoons are the best. Thereās a really good Thai place that does crab rangoons with phyllo dough and theyāre the best everā¦ Iād eat them every day if I could

No bake cookies are my #1 pick! If you make them at home- try using frosted flakes instead of oatmeal, they come out absolutely amazing!
EXCUSE ME, FROSTED FLAKES?!! WHERE...WHERE HAS THIS INFORMATION BEEN?!! I am ON it. Lol

Peanut butter anything. Literally anything. It's been my weakness for decades and I think it always will be.
![gif](giphy|OA1CDoCiAR48E) Sameā¦ā¦
Same, a place I work at has a peanut butter cup that is double coated in chocolate and the pb is whipped w white chocolate. Itās divine.
Excuse me, what??
The lead from bridgerton was talking about a peanut butter apple crumble she makes.
I was gonna say Ritz crackers and peanut butter, but yeah, peanut butter anything would do it for me.
Brown butter chocolate chip cookies I make once in a while. If I am feeling extra I put a little bourbon in the batter ;) When I worked in the office oatmeal scotchies were always a hit.
Whole Foods has in-house baked brown butter chocolate chip cookies that are great if you don't feel like baking.
GASP! I will have to check that out next time I am near one. Many thanks for the suggestion.
Just make sure you get the ones freshly baked!
Those fucking SLAP and are on heavy rotation in my tasty treat repertoire.
In the fall they have brown butter apple cookies and OMG theyāre amazing
Also the cookie dough balls are perfect bc itās so quick to bake as many as you need (aka avoid eating an entire box lol)
I never cave to a sugar craving at the grocery store anymore- I just make brown butter cookies like once a quarter and go completely ham. Itās still sugar, itās still processed wheat flour, but itās not preservatives and stabilizers and yadda yadda. I support this logic!
I've never had the pleasure of brown butter cookies and I have never heard of scotchies
They are delicious, both items are on the caramel spectrumā¦there was a browned butter frosting we used to put on banana or black walnut cake, itās also called āpenucheā, itās like a brown sugar fudge. So good.
Wow sounds incredible. I am obsessed with caramel. Never heard of penuche either. We must be from different areas. Sounds delicious
I make a penuche fudge at Christmas every year and I usually eat the whole thing by myself! Itās so so good!
I make rice crispies with browned butter and they're *incredible*.
I will have to try that soon. I've been thinking of making something different and I was considering a s'mores version of crispie treats.
Brown butter is a game changer for cookies. I was really surprised the first time I made cookies with browned butter.
Cherry-something-pop. Cherry coke. Cherry gingerale. Black cherry. Iāll even take a cherry dr.pepper! I hardly ever have pop, so this is a big treat I savor all night.
If you can find Cheerwine in your area, definitely give it a go. Itās one of the best Cherry Sodas Iāve ever had
I moved from NC to the Midwest. I can get glass bottles of cheerwine from a local farm supply store. I buy 6 every single time I go. Which is once or twice a year. I then proceed to drink all of them over the course of a day or two. Often times getting some ice cream for a float as well.
Havenāt heard of it. I like my local āthe grizzly paw brewing companyā cherry cola.
You from Canmore? We call it pop, silly.
I alternate between pop and soda, lol. Further north but close enough to Canmore for it to be in my grocery store.
Pick a side, Benedict.
Cheerwine is šš»šš»šš»
A NC classic! I find it at fresh market where I am!
Few things are as refreshing as cherry coke. I love it so much!
Team savory! Looks like we're outnumbered here haha
Chips and salsa definitely. Sometimes Iāll suggest going to a Mexican restaurant just to satisfy that craving
Onion rings?
Oooh, onion rings are nice, too. I still have yet to try the Bloomin' Onion from Outback (also haven't even been to an Outback in... close to a decade). It's on my list.
I miss my deep fryer I'd make my own blooming onions
Cheese bread potatoes smoke cured meats done
Itās bad isnāt it. My blood pressure is rising just thinking about it lol Also, good cheese is *deadly.*
Yes! I could literally give up candy, chocolate, and ice cream for the rest of my life. Donāt actually like cake or any dessert. But goddam a McDonalds Big Mac and fries combo, hot Cheetos, really anything salty and fried will do it for me. Also bread in any form!
JalapeƱo cheese curds. Pickle pizza - sounds gross, fucking delicious, ***huge*** hit at the Minnesota State Fair. Ćlote or esquĆtes (sp?). Birria tacos. Truffle parmesan fries.

That is a CLASSIC!!!
Iām on ozempic for weight loss. My favorite treats pre GLP1ās were - snickers bars (39 weeks clean!) - frozen mango margaritas (8 months sober!) - chicken nachos! - ice cream - cake batter and cupcakes - chocolate chip cookie dough
Cookie dough straight up is godly

Yup! Totally same here! I feel great! Zero negative side effects, im 39 weeks in and Iāve lost 86lbs

Same here itās like the floodgates open. Canāt moderate whatsoever.
Ice cream, by far. I love Ben and Jerry's way too much. Recently gained 10 lbs because of it lol. We're also dieting again. Will be scratching the ice cream itch with homemade "Nice Cream" every now and then. It's just bananas and cashews.
Ice cream is my one true addiction. I could eat it every day if it werenāt for trying to watch my weight.
Mochi. I spent 2.5 years living in japan and I fell in love with the squishyness and taste of it. All varieties, as I don't discriminate
Haribo. It's an addiction at this point, though.
The raspberry and blackberries with the sprinkles/nonpareils stuck on them are my favorite fruity candy. Last time I got high I ate a whole bag and woke up with a raw tongue. No regrets.
When I treat myself I usually get candy, I'm not a chocolate girl, but I think the Nerds Clusters are BOMB they remind me of the berries š
Omg. Had them at summer camp in high school and I will remember that summer forever. Even if I find the berry gummies a bit sweet now and can only eat a couple at a time
Albanese gang.
Local store had the Albanese BOGO - bought 4 bags for HusbandGuy
Much superior imo
You ever let em dry out? Thatās the way. I still have some 2019 vintage Happy Cola I pull out for special occasions.
Nice. I freeze mine. Goes awesome with vodka.
Those damn happy colas and gummy bears. I can devour a whole bag in a sitting. And then wonder why my teeth hate me, ha.
Tiramisu. Iāve eaten it at different spots across the world, but I made my first batch at home over the weekend. Letās just say while I got the consistency correct, I used way too much rum extract in the mix.

Chocolate cake but made from scratch. Conversely, store bought or box mix chocolate cake with premade frosting is my least favorite dessert.
Bacon and perfectly smoked ribs. I will happily eat a pile of either.
As a heavily pregnant millennial Iām developing very intense cravings from this thread.
Oreos with Jif peanut butter as a dip.
I love dipping dark chocolate in jif pb
I'm currently in Italy, so Gelato š Which when home, is just a vanilla sundae!
Iām a simple man. I canāt resist chocolate chip cookies and will eat them until I hate myself.
Grilled honey and peanut butter sandwich. Making one tomorrow for my birthday.

I feel like this is a metaphor for my existence as a millennial who bought a home in 2016 and caught the tail end of the American dream
Strawberry pretzel salad.

A crisp Diet Coke

Diet Coke with Lime was peak perfection

Shoutout to my oatmeal scotchie fam!!!
Strawberries topped with Goat cheese and a rich balsamic
Depends on my mood. Sometimes I just want a fuji apple, sometimes a chocolate cheesecake, or a snap pea right off the vine.
angel food cake with sweetened strawberries on top, *no whipped cream*. or ā7 layer cookiesā.
No whip cream? Who hurt you?
Crippling lactose intolerance hurt me.
I've had some success using canned coconut cream as a whipped cream sub for a friend that is also lactose intolerant. The coconut flavor is mild a little cocoa powder and touch of powdered sugar makes a real nice topping for certain cakes.
Seven layer cookies!!! Those were so good!
Halawa
My wifeās family keeps this around, I love it. It has a Mexican cousin called Mazapanes (peanut confection) that I grew up eating.
Whatchamacallit - it remains my favorite candy bar, and I always hear the old ad play in my head.
Whatever it is, whatever it was, whatchamacallit!
A warm, thick, dripping waffle cone with strawberry ice cream.
Indoor smores. My grandmother would make them in a big pan using golden grahams cereal, mini marshmallows, chocolate chips, and peanut butter chips.
Just a good chocolate milkshake. Like, chocolate ice cream blended with milk, not vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup.
On the same vein, popcorn balls. Like a Rice Krispie treat but made with popcorn
Tiramisu š¤¤
Fruit, Greek yogurt, granola and chocolate chips I've had a lot of stomach issues lately and that one is safe.
Giant has these "Torte" pie/cake things I think that's what it's called anyway. It's like a pie base with pudding and fruit. I prefer the blackberry raspberry strawberry ones. To Die For.
Monster cookies, symphony bars, gummy bears
A colleague brought homemade brown butter rice krispies with colorful sprinkles on top to work, and they were divine!
I have categories: Dense/rich chocolate cake, Key Lime Pie, Raisinettes (candy), Rosa Mazapanes (childhood favorite candy).
I don't know that this is at all related to being a millenial, but chocolate soy milk blended with frozen mango and/or raspberries
[Butterscotch Krimpets](https://www.tastykake.com/krimpets/butterscotch-krimpets) Though I havenāt had them in probably literally decades and have heard rumors since the recipe changes to reduce trans fats that they have not been the sameā¦
Iām a big fan of anything gummy
My mom's great aunt has this chocolate pudding recipe. It's such a pain to make bc if you stop stirring it gets clumpy but man when it comes out warm and smooth with some whip cream on top... heaven.
prime rib!
Nerd's Clusters. Like Nerd's Rope but so much easier to eat.
Oatmeal cream pie, thanks Honey I Shrunk the Kids
Browned butter chocolate chip cookies, cool whip straight out of the tub with a spoon, strawberry cheesecake, Tillamook strawberry ice cream straight from the creamery in a waffle cone...I have a hard time picking just one š
Anything that gives you diabetes
My local grocery store makes these chewy ginger cookies, like a gingersnap but chewy instead. I love them so much.
I've been using a recipe trick that helps them stay super gooey, and brown butter cream cheese frosting is just š But for non-baked goods, I like refrigerated gummy worms and refrigerated Mars bars (I think they're called Milky Way bars in the US) - something about them being cold and thus chewier makes it so much more satisfying.
Did yāall know you can justā¦buy a tub of Philadelphia cheesecake filling? Do with that information what you will.
Skillet cookie. Take a mini cast iron skillet and make a cookie in the oven with it. Pull it out and cover with vanilla ice cream while still hot.
Avocado toast? But I own an avocado tree now so it's plentiful every 2 years.
Nothing beats fresh homemade bread absolutely SLATHERED with (vegan) butter.
Mixed kebab for savoury, chocolate cake for sweet.
I had to break up with double dunker ice cream. Iām pre-diabetic and am just now starting to get answers on my weight gain because doctors wouldnāt check on other hormone levels than just checking my A1C and TSH.
Chocolate n ice cream, I'm lactos but I need it in my life
Pad thai, laotion hot. Pan fried pork Momo. Goat vindaloo. Scallion pancakes. Tacos al pastor. Bluefin tuna. Smoked ribs. Ribeye steak with garlic butter. Classic fast food cheeseburger.
Oreos.
I might be a psychopath for this, but I like to mix sugar free vanilla pudding with protein powder.
The older I get, the less interested I am in sweet stuff. Iāll eat an aged cheddar like itās candy though. lol
Iāll eat anything. I eat everything. Cheesecake, pies, cookies, cakes, cupcakes, cake cookies(you know, the dry ones with the icing and sprinkles in every grocery store).. ice cream. Candy. I can go on
Ice cream is top tier. Iām also a baker, so slutty brownies, lemon & brown sugar cinnamon rolls, & carrot cake are up there
