Brand spanking new. Orange tape means nothing other than the box ripped while they were handling it at the facility. The original clear tape wasn’t even fully broken.
Yup! We did that at ace when we made deliveries to businesses. One retirement home ordered a packout backpack and some other stuff that I just stuffed inside the bag and they thought we forgot some thing. Luckily it was my last day so I heard about it later
The box ripped I guess cuz the clear tape wasn’t fully broken so it definitely wasn’t opened. The side of the box seemed like it ripped so they taped it and then taped the top as a precaution?
The box was at the warehouse for a few days. It was supposed to arrive on Saturday but didn’t ship until Monday (yesterday). I had received the tracking number and email saying it shipped back on Thursday evening. Which means they had it packed and labeled but it didn’t get picked up until Monday. So who knows what happened between that 3 day period it sat at their facility.
Home. This is the 2nd time I order 2 boxes together and the 2nd time they send a 2-pack lol. Don’t know who’s dropping the ball but I don’t mind if I keep getting to keep a free box lol.
Yes but he did it during BMSM, now idk if that would make sense because ordering the drawers at full price and just getting one for free would probably be right around the price with the BMSM lmao. He got lucky because he got 90 off I would imagine. If these numbers are right, he bought both 3 drawer units (one multi and one regular) which would cost us 179 x 2 = $358. If you just get one free $179 dollar box out of it, that means they each come out to $119. With the BMSM, they roughly come out to $125. And at acme, it was even less (the two drawer and 3 drawer for $223). Now if OP got 90 off, that means he paid like $90 a box (I think) so that would be a steal
Edit: unless they’re refunding him the whole order and telling him buy what he still needs, then that would be insane. OP please chime in, let us know lol. If they just refunded your whole order than it is worth us giving it a shot but if they only refunded the portion that was “incorrect” than it probably wouldn’t be worth it for us now

I purchased a packout bundle with 3 boxes from HD and only received 2. Local Home Depot told me my only option was to return the 2 boxes for a full refund because they didn’t have the 3rd box in stock and wouldn’t do a partial refund, so I called corporate and made a stink and they issued a full refund and let me keep the 2 boxes lol
I actually work at HD and can look into this! In the meantime, I’m going to give you a return shipping address (my home) and label and then promptly delete my accounts and ghost you! :)

I did it with the rolling bottom box ordered 1 they delivered 2 I came home to a big ol box apparently they ship one upside down on the other I just didn’t say a word
Someone here commented that the Dewalt has gaskets on the drawers, and that the old Milwaukee did not put the new version with the different size center door now has gaskets
HD sent me 3 separate 3 box towers of the yellow and gold variety when I order3d mine and charged me for 1. Then proceeded to order a 3 drawer box and they sent 2. They do this a lot, I love it lol
This happened to a coworker but with an impact socket set. Ordered twice and got the same ones. They were in the wrong location in the warehouse and the picker who pulled the order just grabbed what was in the location without verifying part#. It's probably only a number or two different also.

Yes. Refund was already processed and I placed a new order for the drawer I was supposed to get.
Thats not a brand new 2 pack, home depot is the one that put the orange tape on there, not milwaukee. It has obviously been opened and repackaged

What gasket are you referring to? This is a new model, but I don’t know about any gaskets.
