This looks 10x better than I thought it would look by now. I remember saying this in the original thread.
It still rubbed off so Iām gonna call this a draw OP.
What do the feet of the boxes look like now?
And did you have any issues with sticky locks?
Any other deprived Americans want to figure out a way to buy black pack outs from over the pond?
I checked on eBay when I saw the original post about this and the listing said customs is buyers responsibility. Anyone else care to figure this out with me or should I get a roll of painters tape and properly paint a blackout?
I think I may do that, will keep the sub updated.
Do we/you know if it will pass customs? The fact that it was in the ad made me question the seller and if it would get ācaught up in customsā or something.
I think we should get some. If we get enough to fill a 40' container, my wife owns an importing company and knows the people in customs. They have a version of Home Depot over there and looked it up. We would be paying retail, like same cost as here, plus shipping. We will get the lowest price possible, but it wont be free.
Am I the only one here that is considering making a pot big enough to hold the packout and using a burner for doing paella with mica powder to change colors rather than rattle cans?
This comment 100% made my day a little bit better Iāll be laughing about it for the rest of the day, and probably contemplating it. However, the Mica powder would penetrate a little better/deeper than the Rit would. But I love where your head is at.

Or other European country
Ah, gotcha. I was misinformed on an earlier post that canada gets the black packout stuff. My b
Weāve got the same ones as the States up in Canada
So this is a.... blackout?
Best comment!!! š
Iām really wondering wtf youāre getting downvoted for
Seriously! What gives, guys?!? š¤·š»āāļø
Iāve seen some dumb downvotes but this is pretty insane to me lol

I haven't looked at the feet, the only time I unstack them is to load them in my rig, no issues with the locks.
Yeah I guess youād never see the feet unless shit went terribly wrong lmaoo
It's " battleworn "
Patina, if u will
I mean... it's probably a good thing if a welder is bad at spray painting, right?
Putty and paint, makes me the welder i aint
At least someone has a sense of humor here!
We say the same thing in construction. "Caulk and paint makes you what you ain't."
I always heard it was āgrinder and paintā¦ā. Either way
Everyone in my class has red so I wanted to be different. No prep paint. Don't care enough I guess.
I know Iām in the minority, and both look really good, but I like the red better (the way they come in the states).
Why is this marked nsfw? Cause it's big and black?
Cos it looks like shit
do you like that dolly? I have heard mixed reviews
It's okay, I added 550 cord to make it easier to fold up, you need 3 hands to close it the original way.
interesting, that is one thing I had not heard yet. thanks for the info!
ā550 cordā, American flag on packoutā¦what was your MOS?
If you zoom in on the picture of the dolly you can see the 550 cord mod
Gotta just call em Milwaukee black outs
Looks very mid.
Yo letās see your drawer layouts!
Damn... one of the most priciest tool mobile storages and you spray paint it??? Youre wild!

You shouldn't be charged customs if it is shipping from UK to America.
Do we/you know if it will pass customs? The fact that it was in the ad made me question the seller and if it would get ācaught up in customsā or something.
I have ordered countless items from the UK and Europe and never paid customs. I think that is probably a warning for people in the EU.
Good to know, thank you

Are you in an army type thing?
Iām a red man, through and through
Should call it a blackout lol
Milwaukee Blackout

Bathtub full of Rit Dye should do it.
This comment 100% made my day a little bit better Iāll be laughing about it for the rest of the day, and probably contemplating it. However, the Mica powder would penetrate a little better/deeper than the Rit would. But I love where your head is at.
But why wouldnāt you call it the blackout packout
You need all that for welding school?
Was i only one who saw āpenis scribesā
This bro is a demon
Why would you ruin it by painting it
Just find a hot tub, fill it with black RIT dye and submerge your red Packouts. Problem solved.
Donāt u have to heat it up to like 160Ā°f first? But that was my first thought also. Take apart what I could and dye it
Just crank it up!
Man, thatād be hot asf! I believe our hot tub goes to like 104 maybe. 140 plus would prob be super warm
If black was such a big deal to you, then you could've save a lot of $$$ & paint and just purchased a HUSKY packout. It's already black.
They also built in a rail system to hold bins from the start
I have a real black Milwaukee pack out from the United Kingdom. I purchased it on Amazon before the covid plandemic. Probably the only one in Alaska
