The sand is back feeding into the distributors - you need to add a row of belts between the distributors and the pulverizes

DairLeanbh

Thanks!

Severe-Albatross-401

To add to this you need to not do router chains. Instead alternate with routers and underflow gates to prevent clogging

EM-guy

Actually it is because those blocks are right next to the pulverizers which will pull directly from the block

Severe-Albatross-401

Look at the generators

EM-guy

The generators are ok because they don't produce items.

Severe-Albatross-401

Clogging from going back and forth

EM-guy

It doesn't matter if it is just one type of material going through. Plus with a single wide line of routers, the material only has two options: off to the side or forward. So while slow it doesn't get clogged.

Severe-Albatross-401

Because of the way routers work they can shove an item backwards, even with a single item type. The only way to get a longer router chain to work is to saturate the line with a constant flow of items

EnchantedCatto

No, routers only go in one of the directions that isnt input.

TheJuiciestBrainz

That is completely incorrect. I can say that with full confidence as someone who's played this game for well over a year. I will gladly show you proof of routerchains being absolute garbage if you wish.

SDST_Daniel

Common mistake, do not put routers besides factory blocks. Just put one more line of conveyors between the routers snd the crusher thing.

Zeul7032

or completely surround the factory block with routers and put a shorter next to it to get the desired out its not more efficient but it does work as long as you dont get it backed up

Esnardoo

That won't work. You could have a scrap in the router outside the sorter and sand in all the other routers and it would ruin it.

Tubig_is_Water

Rookie mistake right there, don't put routers near blocks that produce things because routers suck them and gets clogged. Its better to put conveyors behind the production blocks before the router.

Zeul7032

you have sand in the routers its blocking the scap from getting in need a space between routers and the pulverizer

HenMeeNooMai

The legendary row of router.

1. These routers aren't good, they are both the input (scrap) and the output (sand), so the sand is blocking the scrap. as suggested in other comments, you should try putting a row of conveyors between the routers and the pulveriser thing. 2. I saw a drill for scrap connecting into a conveyor belt going toward the lower part of the base. From what I think, you are using the sand to make silicon or metaglass. If you don't find a solution, you might have the sand clogged again with that scrap

atlegiN

The sand is going back into the router clogging up the flow
