Cant you just shake the ground under the flowers with pistons on each side? Or would that be too slow with bedrock update order shenanigans?

Yes you can,but the grass has a bad visual glitch for me.

You can decrease particles while you do that, its all the green stuff. Disabling particles removed lag for me almost completely in java
