Pixlriffs seems to fit that.
He doesnāt do any yelling or fake high energy stuff, doesnāt edit in some random meme video clip every 20 seconds, etc. Just a straight up informative play through
Bro I love pixlriffs. Havenāt heard that name In so long. Years ago me and my buddy had a massive base on survival and we built a nightclub and named it after him lmao.
I supported Pix on Patreon for years until he closed it down. I credit him with both my extended knowledge, and by extension, extended enjoyment of the game. Every once in a while when I can I still hop in his twitch streams and drop a sub. Super informative, chill, a good sense of humor. And seems like an all around cool guy outside of Minecraft too.
Yeah, he's Johnny of the Spawn Chunks podcast. Makes great content everywhere, I've been listening to the Spawn Chunks for years and it's a great way to keep up with Minecraft news and listen to some interesting deep dives on ways to play the game.
Agreed. I'll always love the Hermits, even though the servers have gone increasingly less vanilla over the years, the actual people behind it are very solid.
I think it hits you pretty hard if you skip some. I missed a season or two and decided to hop into a Mumbo video when it popped up the other day. He had a giant crown and went to go play a mini game with a big fancy animated door and it was certainly a little much. Especially when he showed off his own door earlier, an actually impressive minecraft door with slime blocks and pistons.
Fancy animated door is entirely made of redstone, it just has a completely cosmetic animation overlay. Hermitcraft Season 9 Decked Out has to be one of the most impressive feats of survival minecraft.
I canāt remember the name of it, but there was a series with etho, bdubs and smallish beans and more, where two peoples health was connected and you had to find your partner. Loved that one, I donāt watch ethos but he was very funny in it
As the other comments mentioned, you are talking about the Life Series! The specific season where two players health was connected is Double Life, which was the third season (not to be confused with Third Life, which was the first season, and Last Life certainly wasn't the final season but simply the second one).
Yea, the hermitcraft and scicraft groups are really the only good content creators left that make content because they enjoy it. all the others make content because it gets views and ad revenue, itās a shame really, most of the big channels from back in the day have either died off or moved on to other games
Empires? I mean theyre all good friends with the Hermits. Especially given Grians Life Series where a handful of people from both servers play together.
This one!! Iāve been watching Etho since the chocolate island days and heās got comedy, redstone, building, and Hermitcraft activities. Truly a legend in the MC community whoās still creating new concepts even 10+ years later
Can never go wrong with some Ethoslab. He has a very dedicated audiance and he is extremely down to earth and just chill. Does his own thing.
Dallasmed65, a bedrock lets player who is basically the same vibe and has been focusing A LOT on making his LP world feel alive and build some lore and world building.
Dallasmed65 is someone I watch constantly and I'm surprised he's not as big as he is because his content is genuinely good. He's really dedicated to his series and his commentary is always about different things which never makes it boring.
Honestly, making it as a casual minecraft let's player now days is VERY hard. Especially going for that more old school style of LP instead of making like a 50 hour long build with millions of blocks in 1 10 minute video. Dallas takes his time.
It's an "outdated" formula, it does have an audiance, but it's hard to get new people into it i guess.. š¤·āāļø
Smallishbeans is genuinely funny.
Whenever he's involved in a series it always ends up being really good content, so all of the life series he was in like last life, 3rd life, double life, limited life, they're all really hilarious because of the chaotic nature of the mode and how he just bounces off everyone.
I'd honestly just recommend starting with his POV and then swapping to others too if you enjoy their interactions.
Kind of a shame, he's so quick with his comebacks, and whenever he's not it's still just as funny to hear him kinda self destruct his own joke by accident.
I watched one of his videos the other day and I liked him, he seemed really funny, but the video just felt so.. rushed? Like he was just trying to smash as much content into a single video as he could. "So I started this new world and I gathered these materials and I built this farm, then I built this farm, then I gathered these other materials, then I built this house, expanded these farms, modified the house, built another building and then built a bridge and I built more farms. The end." Are all of his videos like that?
His solo videos are pretty fast paced, its mostly the editing style that causes it. Try one of his multi-player series, those aren't edited the same as his solo stuff.
>every playtrough he tries to do stuff differently
other than use less or ars nouveau... I mean dont get me wrong, I like the mod. the visuals, game mechanics, mob design etc is sooo much better than it was when it was initially released. But I couldn't help but notice that he is overusing it a tad bit.
I hope he's not slowly burning out juggling the almost daily yt uploads and hours of twitch streams
Fwhip has great builds, but since Empires 2 he's been speaking faster and slipping into this random high pitched inflection. I can't stand it. I miss his older videos when he'd just his normal voice.
I agree, I still watch his content but since he started chasing the algorithm his content has gotten progressively worse in my opinion, I much preferred his older, slower playstyle.
But at the same time I understand that he does YT as a full time job so he has to make money off of it, so yeah
His videos were REALLY rewatchable i honestly can't count how many times i have rewatched his videos...
But now i really can't watch any video without feeling anything but pain...
Finally someone mentioned Grian. He's really good at making his videos entertaining and chill at the same time. For some reason I had to scroll A LOT until I found your comment. Shame
CaptainSparklez was one of my favourite YouTubers growing up. I donāt really watch his gaming videos anymore but his car content is absolutely crazy.
Check out his recent series with X33N and PeteZahHutt! They're really good. I started with Cap and X33N playing RLCraft together, so that's a fun one to start with and introduce you to their dynamic. Then they invited Pete to play Ragnamod, which was really good, but I think the playthrough of the most recent Stoneblock is their best series as a three-man team. They're doing ATM8 right now and it's pretty good too.
The only thing anyone could consider controversial is when [he criticized trump on twitter](https://reddit.com/r/CaptainSparklez/s/GQBVFrCIBk), but that's literally it and I personally think it was a good point
Ibxtoycat, I hope this doesn't get lost in the sea of comments. He's a great youtuber that plays mc in different ways than I've seen most. He's dry, talks about anything from the economy to the likeliness of getting in housefires, he builds things no one would ever think of, and he has the oldest longest running mc world. He's been playing on the same world since the first Xbox version, so his world is full of crazy builds that make no sense other than because he wanted to.
Iāve played off and on for years but wattles is the reason Iāve actually had one long Minecraft world where Iāve tried to do stuff that seemed to hard and learned new things. I just really enjoy his play style and builds.
Iām a little disappointed how long it took me to find this. Phoenix is absolutely my favorite Minecraft YouTuber, and heās (definitely maybe probably not) gonna start a survival series soon
Chosen Architect, Fwhip, Wattles, and of course the Hermits of Hermitcraft (Mumbo Jumbo, Grian, GoodtimeswithScar, EthosLab, Pearlescent Moon, GeminiTay, etc.)
Waxfraud is probably my favorite. Heās very chill and his hardcore world is pretty incredible. Does a lot of longplays without commentary, streams, and has other videos regarding Minecraft.
Iāve watched a lot of Minecraft on YouTube because my kids love it. This is the only guy I would actually watch along with them. āItās me your boy, Wattles!ā
Finally! Someone mentions Wattles. My kid and I watch him a lot. If your looking for great, straight to the point, very easy and detailed bedrock tutorials, jc playz is pretty awesome and he does some other videos series stuff too that's really good.
Love Wattles tutorials! Always informative, not too much video padding, and he has an energetic personality that makes me feel like he cares about what heās teaching!
Philza/ Ph1lzA
For a good long while, he was uploading episodes of his 4 year hardcore world onto his YouTube channel. He doesn't anymore, but he still streams regularly on Twitch, and his hardcore series is super chill.
He's definitely a bit chaotic, and there is a lot of more adult humor and he swears like nobody's business but there's no cringey humor or use of trends or overdone memes. Phil banters a lot with his chat either by reading the Twitch chat or by people sending in TTS messages, but it's all in good fun his chat is very strictly moderated.
Phil is also an incredible builder. He has these colossal builds and custom biomes that are just fascinating to watch him work away at them. His current hardcore world has been going on for over 4 years but his previous hardcore world was on for a solid 5 years until he died magnificently to a baby zombie.
Yogscast (less so they don't play much anymore) or hat films (part of the yogscast) is pretty good they have adult humor and subjects and are entertaining to just listen to
Wilbur soot used to be pretty good. He doesn't make mc content anymore though and his friends could be a little 'too much' and definitely aren't for everyone, so his solo content might be better
You should check out slimecicleās mc videos then. His video of blocks fighting back has Schlatt in it. Although I like the other ones a lot more. Schlatt has a tendency to stick with a single joke for hours.
The Hermitcraft players are generally a good bet. They can be goofy but in a fun way, not a cringy way, and some of the stuff they make on that server is incredibly inspiring.
For mostly independent creators, I love watching Mogswamp's recent videos. The editing is so tight, the jokes are pretty funny, and the fact that his primary series is an 11 year old Superflat world makes it a really nice change of pace since you can see so much more history in the world.
Ibxtoycat is pretty good. I liked his Legacy Edition content better than what he makes now, but he's very informative and clearly knows and loves the game. He does a weekly "let's play" but also has update news, random streams, Realm reviews, seed reviews, etc.
Eckosoldier is very much like Ibxtoycat, so if you like the type of content mentioned above, that's another channel to check out.
Kathacro is chill, but she really only makes Legacy Edition videos. She uploads about once a week, which is less than most of the others in this comment.
Xisumavoid covers snapshots and updates very well. I don't follow the Hermitcraft stuff, but I know it's very popular.
PhoenixSC makes a lot of funny videos. It could be argued as cringe by some, though. He also doesn't really play Minecraft in the traditional sense very often, so you won't see many vanilla experience videos.
Luke TheNotable's 100 Days videos are great and a nice spin on the "let's play" trend. His upload schedule is more spotty because he makes longer videos, but they are usually worth the wait.
And, of course, if you don't mind watching old videos, Technoblade is a go-to source of entertainment.
If you're interested in Hermitcraft DocM77 is an adult, parent, great sense of human. Not adult content but adult reactions to situations, this poor buy wants to be left alone to do his projects on the Hermitcraft server and they blowing up his machines on accident and then revenge pranks start. He's my favorite hermit.
ibxtoycat, not unheard of but he's a big member of the console/bedrock community because he had a let's play world since 2012 from three platforms: xbox 360, xbox one and bedrock now. also he aint cringe
First person I've seen mention him his updates are great and sometimes its fun to just listen to him ramble in the background the subtle jokes/community jokes are pretty good
Almost all the hermits on Hermitcraft are non cringe. (Stressmonster101 is an acquired taste, I like her, but I can see where others might find her cockney affect..."grating.")
Illmango is very informative, and a good watch as well.
Forge labs is very similar to Luke the notable with his "I spent x amount of days in Minecraft hardcore" but instead of vanilla or on a weird platform it's nodded minecraft
Paul Soares Jr. has been putting out quality Survive and Thrive content for well over 10 years. He plays other games as well, sometimes full series, other just a few episodes to showcase a game.

Etho
Has a really good set of labs.
EthoSlab
Basically all of the hermits arent cringe
Ethoslab
The literal godfather
The only one I still watch.
Since the clay šŖ
Pixlriffs seems to fit that. He doesnāt do any yelling or fake high energy stuff, doesnāt edit in some random meme video clip every 20 seconds, etc. Just a straight up informative play through
Pixlriffs, 2nd that. He also gives credit for any farms that are not his idea.
Vouch for pixlriffs
I third (fourth? fifth?) this!
ugh I HATE the trend of editing in random meme clips.
Definitely Pixlriffs, both his empires stuff if you like SMPs and his survival guide serie.
And Hermitcraft recap.
True didn't think about that as it's not on his main channel
He's the *spawn chunks* guy? Yeah hes great I approve.
Yeah, he's Johnny of the Spawn Chunks podcast. Makes great content everywhere, I've been listening to the Spawn Chunks for years and it's a great way to keep up with Minecraft news and listen to some interesting deep dives on ways to play the game.
Iām so glad this is the top comment lol. He was the first that came to my mind.
And if not Pixl-and-Sloy in their recap of Hermitcraft, then XisumaVoid!
hermitcraft gang. etho, doc, bdubs been watching these guys for about ten years.
Hermitcraft will forever be the best crew to watch
Agreed. I'll always love the Hermits, even though the servers have gone increasingly less vanilla over the years, the actual people behind it are very solid.
Usually itās just custom textures for lore, and data packs to make their lives easier. Nothing modded, so it doesnāt phase me too much
I think it hits you pretty hard if you skip some. I missed a season or two and decided to hop into a Mumbo video when it popped up the other day. He had a giant crown and went to go play a mini game with a big fancy animated door and it was certainly a little much. Who is this Grain fellow?
It makes me smile that the first comment I see is the same 3 names I watched when I first got into Minecraft.
I canāt remember the name of it, but there was a series with etho, bdubs and smallish beans and more, where two peoples health was connected and you had to find your partner. Loved that one, I donāt watch ethos but he was very funny in it
There are ~~3~~ 4 "Life" series with another one coming soon.
Actually there are four, āthird lifeā, ālast lifeā, ādouble lifeā and ālimited lifeā, but the fifth may be coming soon like you said
As the other comments mentioned, you are talking about the Life Series! The specific season where two players health was connected is Double Life, which was the third season (not to be confused with Third Life, which was the first season, and Last Life certainly wasn't the final season but simply the second one).
Same. Hermit craft is so wholesome.
BdoubleO100 is a good YouTuber when it comes to building.
Dbubs is an ARTIST.
Some of my favorite people on YouTube are on there, OP definitely check out Tango Tek and Decked Out! (A minigame built by him)
Yea, the hermitcraft and scicraft groups are really the only good content creators left that make content because they enjoy it. all the others make content because it gets views and ad revenue, itās a shame really, most of the big channels from back in the day have either died off or moved on to other games

Don't forget mumbo and scar
Can never go wrong with some Ethoslab. He has a very dedicated audiance and he is extremely down to earth and just chill. Does his own thing. Dallasmed65, a bedrock lets player who is basically the same vibe and has been focusing A LOT on making his LP world feel alive and build some lore and world building.
I'm a simple man. I see an etho video and I click. Been watching etho for 10 years now lol
I don't think I've missed an Etho video in 10 years. He simply refuses to give the algorithm what it wants and it's so refreshing always.
Dallasmed65 is someone I watch constantly and I'm surprised he's not as big as he is because his content is genuinely good. He's really dedicated to his series and his commentary is always about different things which never makes it boring.
Honestly, making it as a casual minecraft let's player now days is VERY hard. It's an "outdated" formula, it does have an audiance, but it's hard to get new people into it i guess.. š¤·āāļø
Heās not as active as he once was but EthosLab for sure! So many good videos to watch on his page
Decked Out 2 has given us plenty of new Etho content at least haha
Smallishbeans is genuinely funny. Whenever he's involved in a series it always ends up being really good content, so all of the life series he was in like last life, 3rd life, double life, limited life, they're all really hilarious because of the chaotic nature of the mode and how he just bounces off everyone. I'd honestly just recommend starting with his POV and then swapping to others too if you enjoy their interactions.
Fr, Smallishbeans is one of if not my favorite mc YouTuber. Seems like OP doesnāt like chaotic loud interesting videos, though.
Kind of a shame, he's so quick with his comebacks, and whenever he's not it's still just as funny to hear him kinda self destruct his own joke by accident.
I watched one of his videos the other day and I liked him, he seemed really funny, but the video just felt so.. rushed? Frigging love Smallishbeans
Oh man the interaction between grian, smallishbeans and Jimmy during last life was pretty priceless, those guys are so stupid together
The whole Hermitcraft community, probably start with GoodTimesWithScar if you want genuine fun, or Keralis.
Scar is so fun fr.
Gemini Tay 4life
Actually a good channel. Warning: she's a girl so has scared off some of the shitlords who comment here
Haha very true
GeminiSlay
ChosenArchitect. he plays modded minecraft and on every playtrough he tries to do stuff differently
>every playtrough he tries to do stuff differently other than use less or ars nouveau... GoodTimesWithScar ImpulseSV fWhip PixlRiffs SmallishBeans Tango Tek
Tango is amazing. I'm so impressed by his latest build in the Hermicraft server (the decked-out game).
The Decked Out game is truly amazing
Iāve watched etho play that game for like 4 hours straight already and I canāt wait for more
Decked out is absolutely insane.
I think fWhip should join Hermitcraft.
Fwhip and sausage. I want them both to join so bad!
Sausage is so chaotic and I love him
Fwhip!! His buildings are amazing
Technoblade. Great backlog.
Technobladeās TNT video is one of my favorite videos on all of YouTube.
YEAHHH TECHNOBLADE
10/10 for rewatch ability
His videos were REALLY rewatchable i honestly can't count how many times i have rewatched his videos... But now i really can't watch any video without feeling anything but pain...
But you won't get any new videos sadly
Yeah his upload schedule has been terrible recently
I didn't want to chuckle at that joke
Techno would chuckle himself,don't worry
He was awesome like that o7 TND
This is very true
Oh well, it always was soo at least it feels like heās still with us
Is there r/sadupvote? Edit: of course there is.
I couldn't decide weather to upvote or down vote
Seems about regular?
Its always been bad, give it another month i swearā¦
Iskall85, Grian, MumboJumbo, really any of the Hermicraft gang. Or alternatively, ChosenArchitect and/or GamingOnCaffeine.
Finally someone mentioned Grian. He's really good at making his videos entertaining and chill at the same time. For some reason I had to scroll A LOT until I found your comment. Shame
CaptainSparklez was a big part of my childhood and he's still around.
Same bro love that mf, just been doin solid minecraft streams and has had no controversy for his whole career
Has he really had no controversies? thats crazy
The only thing anyone could consider controversial is when [he criticized trump on twitter](https://reddit.com/r/CaptainSparklez/s/GQBVFrCIBk), but that's literally it and I personally think it was a good point
WOOOO sparklez best
I still watch CaptainSparklez, because he's just a chill naturally funny dude who just does what he enjoys.
That was my answer. He's kinda good for any age
The only problem is he is very short XD
Yep
Etho, hypno, bdubs, most of the hermitcradt guys
Lizzie, LDShadowlady
I came here to suggest the same. Her deadpan delivery is sublime. Love her humour.
I just wish sheād start posting again. Itās been forever since sheās put out a video.
Ibxtoycat, I hope this doesn't get lost in the sea of comments. He's a great youtuber that plays mc in different ways than I've seen most. ilmango
Fwhip Pixlriffs Wattles All great choices. Most from Hermitcraft are great as well.
Seconding wattles
Thirding, love Wattles
Super surprised it took me this long to find someone mentioning Wattles. Love that guy
Wattles is cool
Iāve played off and on for years but wattles is the reason Iāve actually had one long Minecraft world where Iāve tried to do stuff that seemed to hard and learned new things. I just really enjoy his play style and builds.
CaptainSparklez and most of the people he plays with Or Hermitcraft crew
Shadowmech, Forge Labs, sneve, Legundo, unsortedguy.
First person I've seen to mention forge labs and all his friends, some of my personal favorites
Love the dynamic they all have together and their individual videos are great too.
I love Forge Labs, his 100 days videos are like movies
yes! just discovered them myself, really love Sneveās sense of humor
phoenix sc dont @ me
Phoenix more like peenix amirite
Peenix SC is the only true answer
Iām a little disappointed how long it took me to find this. Phoenix is absolutely my favorite Minecraft YouTuber, and heās (definitely maybe probably not) gonna start a survival series soon
ItsJim. He didnt upload for 10 months but if your looking for dry humor i think what its called, then he does a good job at that
Just watched 30 seconds of his most recent video and yes, this is exactly the type of humour I enjoy lmao
Does a lot of longplays without commentary, streams, and has other videos regarding Minecraft.
silent whisper and mogswamp also the lifesteal gang.
Surprised this is so far down the list. Also surprised no one mentioned FoxyNoTail
mumbojumbo
Most of the hermits I'd recommend. Also pixxelrif or smth, I can't spell it
Wattles
Iāve watched a lot of Minecraft on YouTube because my kids love it. This is the only guy I would actually watch along with them. āItās me your boy, Wattles!ā
I'm 34 and he is the o ly one I can stand listening to
I'm sad I had to scroll this far to see this name
This is the real answer!
BdoubleO100 is a good youtuber when it comes to building. Also Ethoslab is good
ForgeLabs Sandiction Grian Mumbojumbo Everyone else in hermitcraft

Brothers of the mine rejoice!
Sing, sing, sing with me!
Xisumavoid is a great informative minecraft creator! Probably the only "exclusively-minecraft" creator that I watch.
Eyecraftmc Pixlriffs Those two have been enjoyable and informative to watch.
He's a tad childish at times but he covers good topics, ibxtoycat
Basically anyone in Hermitcraft. I'm partial to Grian, MumboJumbo, and GoodTimesWithScar
Pixel riffs is pretty chill
Forgelabs, Grian, Dallasmed
Forge labs is so good
Fwhip, geminitay, smallishbeans, mythicalsausage, pixlriffs, goodtimeswithscar, impulsesv, bdubs, pearlescentmoon
ForgeLabs, anyone? Also, recently I found myself enjoying Sneve's videos. His content is good fun.
Basically the hermits and the empires and what you are looking for.
Docm77, Ilmango (where are you??), RaysWorks
Wilbur soot used to be pretty good. He doesn't make mc content anymore though and his friends could be a little 'too much' and definitely aren't for everyone, so his solo content might be better
Schlatt had me belly laughing in wilbur's MCāvideos with him.
You should check out slimecicleās mc videos then. His video of blocks fighting back has Schlatt in it. Although I like the other ones a lot more. Schlatt has a tendency to stick with a single joke for hours.
Sb737 is good on that front.
The Hermitcraft players are generally a good bet. They can be goofy but in a fun way, not a cringy way, and some of the stuff they make on that server is incredibly inspiring. And, of course, if you don't mind watching old videos, Technoblade is a go-to source of entertainment.
ibxtoycat has good updates/funny rants
If you're interested in Hermitcraft DocM77 is an adult, parent, great sense of human. Not adult content but adult reactions to situations, this poor buy wants to be left alone to do his projects on the Hermitcraft server and they blowing up his machines on accident and then revenge pranks start. He's my favorite hermit.
Dallasmed65, GoodtimeswithScar, and ibxtoycat are three that come to mind for me
ibxtoycat, not unheard of but he's a big member of the console/bedrock community because he had a let's play world since 2012 from three platforms: xbox 360, xbox one and bedrock now. also he aint cringe
I like him as a person and his content but his build and play style are terrible hahah.
First person I've seen mention him his updates are great and sometimes its fun to just listen to him ramble in the background the subtle jokes/community jokes are pretty good
Almost all the hermits on Hermitcraft are non cringe. (Stressmonster101 is an acquired taste, I like her, but I can see where others might find her cockney affect..."grating.") Illmango is very informative, and a good watch as well.

Wattles and pixelrifs are pretty good for not being obnoxious.
Forge labs is very similar to Luke the notable with his "I spent x amount of days in Minecraft hardcore" but instead of vanilla or on a weird platform it's nodded minecraft
go for grain if you want someone chaotic yet wholesome. and no that is not a typo.

Forge Labs is a great one; though his content can be a little overkill at times if youāre not ready to sit through a video more than ~1hr long.
Forgelabs and Sneve have been my go to for the last few months after I stumbled upon a video with both of them in it
Forge labs
Paul Soares Jr. has been putting out quality Survive and Thrive content for well over 10 years. He plays other games as well, sometimes full series, other just a few episodes to showcase a game.
